Seriously so fed up with all the lies and deception. Called to explain my situation and hesitation to put through an application. Hoping to get some “”help “ in regards to what the best solution would be. Promised phone call upon submission to discuss with someone in customer service.
Should’ve known better took less than five minutes for rejection email

So disappointing that it’s so hard to get genuine honest help

FYI: Also received security alert from my bank to change passwords ASAP

Garbage lenders, force you to apply for more you want and then knock you back saying they calculated the amount and the payments can’t be afforded 😂
They approved one for me last year where the loan was 1/4 the price and the payback was the same.

City Finance never answer emails and refuse to send statements when requested. I ve emailled multiple times just to have a statement sent out. Complained to their complaints simply don't respond. Charges $40 a month maintenance fee!!

Absolute worst finance company I have ever dealt with. They do not answer calls, they do not answer emails. They take money that is incorrect. Their website quotes "you’ll get fast approval and a same day cash deposit." It's been 11 days and counting. Be very careful with using these guys.

I HAD SOME EXTENSIVE PROBLEMS AND AS THINGS TURNED OUT CITY FINANCE NEEDED TO REFUND ME AN AMOUNT AND THAT TO DATE HAS TAKEN 7 DAYS NOW. NOT AN EASY COMAPNY TO DEAL WITH.

Would give no stars if I could. I have been trying to contact them for months to organise payment on my overdue account and they have just ignored every single attempt, while still sending me threatening emails in-between, and then ignoring my responses to those too. They keep debiting an account with no money so it keeps dishouring and there's nothing I can do except report them at this point as they won't respond to me.

I've forgotten how many years now. 2010 ? 14 yrs now and never been declined. The quickest easiest process for small personal loans.

This happened from 23/12/2023 to 9/01/2024 I tried to apply for a loan multiple times for weeks but it was said that I entered incorrect credentials so I called them to find out what exactly was wrong but the lady that answered first sounded like she didn’t want to talk to me and sounded really rude, and that she wanted the call to be over. I told her what kept happening and she could only say that it’s not coming up as an error on their end and that it was my problem, she didn’t even finish saying bye before she ended the call, but as soon as the call ended I tried one more and it worked. Then after 3 days of not hearing from them I emailed them to get an update and no reply so I wait 3 more and still no answer so I emailed them again, still no reply. The next day I call them only for them to tell me it had been declined but couldn’t tell me why, said that who declined it was going to email me the reason why but still to this day haven’t received anything. Not happy and not worth the trouble.

IF ANYONE WANTS LOAN FOR ANYTHING USE CITY FINANCE TEAM BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST AND ALWAYS HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS IN TOUGH SITUATIONS. MY MUM ALWAYS USE THEM WHEN SHE NEEDS THEM AND ALWAYS THERE FOR HER. THANK YOU CITY FINANCE TEAM. DONT GO ANYWHERE JUST USE CITY FINANCE TEAM AND THEY WILL HELP YOU EITHER IF YOU WORK OR GET CENTRELINK BENEFITS.

I keep getting the very same person definitely not Australian accent, never called back when they said they would. Never replied to emails, then I get a msg saying your first payment is due tomorrow and I don't even have the loan money yet, tries to explain it to the chap all he could say was all right then. All right then. Asked was this a scam because a payment is about to come out tomorrow and I'm still waiting on loan all he could say was all right then. I'm freaking put ive been scammed

Applied for a loan as I was desperate, sent in my bank and Centrelink log in details, I got a txt and email straight away saying I was conditionally approved and I would hear back from someone within the one business day. Four days later and still nothing. Extremely poor service. I do not recommend at all. Now I have to change all my passwords as this company is clearly not trustworthy enough to have such personal details.

I applied on the 31st October and still heard nothing, called up and someone said they will contact me soon and still nothing. Will be calling on Monday to cancel the application

again. pathetic customer service.

Always help me when I need and the customer service team they are very helpful and nice thank you

Very bad customer service & feels so much like a scam, I wouldn't trust these guys, so don't bother...

My partner Applied for a small loan as she work 20 hours a week u say u loan to low income people what a load of garbage 3 days waiting then told on the 3rd day looks good only to be declined absolute joke of a company dont go near.them

These people give people a fair go even for people on Centrelink battling like me they make you feel respected they are quick true to their world it’s easy to apply it’s not stressful chatting to them and they pay you fast once your approved very happy top job city finance I’ll be recommending you to all my mates if they need help 100 percent xx
