This company is not what they say. They definitely are not experienced. They were hired to build a website. The site they built had a different language, tons of grammatical errors and they created fake reviews to post about our company...we have great services we do not need fake reviews. I'm sure the 5star reviews they have on here were made up as well.
(They will try to respond that this review is fake to cover themselves) We are actual customers with screenshots and receipts for the poor job the did.
When we requested a refund, we were told it is processing...for 2 months. This company is a fraud...we are taking legal action.

This is the second company I've hired to improve our organic traffic. The first was a complete disaster so I had more questions for citylocalpro. We employed them for 6 months in Dallas and paid $4500. There were lots of initial promises about measurable impact over a few month period. After 6 months my web traffic (as reported by my hosting company - who has no bias in the matter) showed no change whatsoever. Citylocalpro attempted to get me to believe that the host data was not correct and they had better info..... I hired them because they had a local presence and they were good at sending reports which appeared to show improvements in keyword ranking but - bottom line for me - visitor statistics did not change in any significant way. Citylocalpro apparently have also gone through some name changes and most recently I was dealing with people from 13stripes.io. That was explained away but smelled fishy. One final point - neither citylocalpro, nor 13stripes can get their own company on page 1 of Google. That should be a telling metric which I should have paid attention to. Anthony from City local has done a great job on my SEO and has delivered as promised.

I have worked with three marketing companies, Town Square, Straight media, to name a few, their service was costly and the follow up with a programming tech was horrible.

Quality Recourses , & CotyLocalPro, have been very affordable, their TechTeam has been outstanding in helping me understand and build my business Business digital profile page to where it is today, I have been very happy with there work, the follow up weekly if not daily. Not only have they built me a wonderful Google Business Page, they’ve also helped me understand how my Business digital profile works, and what it can mean to my business as far as clients. Isaac who is my programmer has always been very professional, and friendly, always willing to help me understand what we are doing along the way. Too good to be true.That's why they are scammers.They have several other company names with the same pitch and lies.They call me every week and everytime read off the same script. I ask them to read the script slowly, loud, and clearly. After 5 mins they figure out I was playing with them and hang up on me;) Yet they keep on calling under different # and company name but the exact same script.
Update 5-11-21: This a real review and the above are facts and real experience. If you don't like the review, then stop calling me under different company name and phone # reading off the same script when I said "NOOOO" everytime.

Many of negative reviews for CLP here are, probably, their competitors or just unlucky business owners...

It seems as though they want more context. Ok then.
This company calls you, doesn't tell you who they are or what company they are from. They'll trick you into thinking they are with your current SEO company, and then send you a bill. They refuse to give refunds. They are rude and call you names. You never even know who you are talking to because after you speak with a sales person, another woman calls you back and tells you she's the sales person. It's very confusing. I'm pretty sure they do this to trick you into signing up with them.
Here is an email so you can see just how confusing they are. Her email address is her name @citylocalpro, but she tells me she doesn't work there. Confuse me some more why don't you.

Citylocal Pro is a local directory as well as a marketing company. You did not pay to register on the directory, you paid for optimization of the landing pages that you liked in the first email that you sent me. There is a proper SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION that is going on those landing pages for you. That is what you signed up for, paid for, and agreed to go on for a month-to-month basis service.

And why on earth are you trying to make it sound like someone did this on your behalf? You are the business owner to had detailed conversations with my sales rep. All of the procedures and everything was explained to you right in the very first place.

They never showed me a contract, because it never existed.
After she finally told me it was a man I spoke with, then it made sense. However, he explained it much much differently. I paid that man over the phone for an entirely different service. Also the pages they spoke of making were a joke with spelling errors and services I do not even offer.
This all ended in a chargeback.

I was contacted by a salesperson from City Local. I agreed to use their services for a month or two to see if I would get any potential Clients for roofing. I was assured by the salesperson that I could quit anytime I wanted. After 2 months of paying $250 and getting ZERO calls from it, I decided to cancel. When I called to cancel, I was told that no matter what, I could not cancel without a 30 day written notice. I explained the deal that her salesman gave me, but she demanded I pay another $250 for the NOTHING BURGER I got from City Local! Well, I cancelled my bank card thinking that would prevent them from taking another $250 from me, but Wells Fargo still took the money from my account. I initiated a dispute, but in the end, Wells Fargo took money out of my wallet (card) and gave it to someone that I did NOT authorize and that in my mind, STOLE my money! I am warning everyone now: DO NOT USE City Local...or Wells Fargo, for that matter!
