The nightmare of employing Citymove, a nationwide fake removalist company. Part 2

Another trading name for citymove.
A nightmare fake Removalist company whose sole intention is to send untrained, incompetent slow moving contractors to drag out a move as long as possible. Arrive in a truck too small for the load you have booked. Get themselves fired by damaging property. Threaten and coerce you into paying. Then leave the customer to move themselves.
They refuse to answer the phone, no reply to emails. No negative reviews allowed. The stress landed me in hospital.

So I will happily speak in any forum about Citymove to warn others not to fall for the promises of ethical practice on the website and fake testimonials, because all too late I found they already have fines for misrepresentation from the ACCC and when you google the CEO instead of Citymove itself, suddenly you come across the vast number of real customer experiences, none of which are good!

As a parting bit of horror, I finally spoke to a manager (who refused to give his name) and his statement was simple.
‘We have the time and the money to wait you out. Go to court. You’ll end up broke and give up your case. Everyone does honey, so knock yourself out.’

Seriously, to have the level of arrogance to actually say that out loud. Reinforces my belief when I initially refused to make payment, that the subsequent threats of taking my furniture hostage and perpetrating acts of violence against me, were exactly what would have occurred had I not paid under duress.
