Easy to use website with lots of information about the plant. The site ,for me, had a ‘feeling of care and consideration ‘ about it, and I was kept informed of the order until I received it.
I ordered 3 named iris , in memory of a relative, and they arrived within a few days of ordering, trimmed , very healthy looking, and beautifully packed and protected, and will be placed in ‘their area’ as soon as the weather allows .
I shall be ordering more plants from Claire Austin in the coming weeks

Impenetrable text about delivery times on their website so had no idea when plants would arrive. Delivery also expensive. Plants are pretty tiny and will need to be grown on before planting out. They took my money all right though! I won’t be using them again.

Excellent quality of plants, good packaging and prompt delivery

The plants arrived in excellent condition, well packed and moist. All the plants I have previously received from Claire Austin have also been excellent.

Just received my Salvia Caradonna from Claire Austin. Came in great condition and growing well. Claire is great. She gave me excellent advice on plant type and location for planting and couldn’t do enough to make sure they thrived. One of the best in the business and lovely family values. Top grower! Will buy more.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased from Claire Austin. My poor experience was the same as others, sickly TINY plants. When I phoned asked to plant them as see if they grow. Which they didn’t. Still a reluctance from Claire to accept this or even with photos except plants are dead.

Can u get someone who can actually spell and correct the grammar on your website. In several parts words are missing and the write ups are poorly devised. It’s not a professional look

Atrocious quality.Two plants actually dead and out of the 16 plants about 2 ok.
Will await what response I get but tiny plants and worst quality I have ever seen.
If I had seen these in a garden centre I wouldn’t have even picked one up.
No chance of any more growth this year.
Or maybe even next year!

Excellent thank you. I was a bit apprehensive about buying plants online but 3 iris have arrived in perfect condition in a little plant suitcase and boxed. The DPD guy ignored the "live plants keep this way" sticker but the packing was so good everything was fine. They won't flower for a while (Iris foetidissima) but they certainly seem very healthy. One happy gardener. Thanks!

It took 5 years for my irises to flower, after years of only producing foliage, and when they have finally flowered they are completely the wrong colour! I ordered a blue and lilac iris, the flowers I have got are beetroot/brown colour! When I have emailed - they stated they can’t help as my purchase was 5 years ago - but as they have taken 5 years to flower!!! How would I have known there was an issue!!!!! Very poor quality flowers and unhelpful support.

Competitive pricing and variety. Ordered two 9cm and three 1L plants, all dispatched in one parcel within the advertised window. Easy parcel tracking ahead of delivery. My order arrived with straw as the protective packaging / bubble wrap and plastic containers supporting the pots. One of the 9cm plants had flown out of its pot, soil and all, but the others faired better on the journey. I will update if all the plants do not thrive or flower.

Plants ordered 1st May. Plants arrived 1st June after phone call to couldn't- care -less assaistant. !0 days later plants arrived. All attenuated and too large to fit into packing Violas small miserable and shrivelled. Too late for digitalis! Was regular customer. Will think again!

Several autumn plantings failed but were replaced without question. I think that's really good service. One thing to be aware of is that plants in 9cm pots (as many of those supplied) are small and can benefit from growing on in larger pots before planting out.

I was let down by another stockist, so tried Claire Austin on a recommendation and very pleased I did so. The plants came very quickly, via DPD which I also rate, and were green, strong and healthy. They were also better priced than the original stockist. I thought the packaging was good and particularly liked the care guide enclosed. Will be using again.

Really small weak plants, in very dry compost. I doubt many will survive. All very disappointing, and expensive.

Plants arrived as scheduled. Imagine my disappointment when I unpacked to find six pathetic specimens. I’m sorry, but these plants (Nepeta) are an over priced disgrace and I feel totally ripped off!
The sales brochure promises excellent plants. I appreciate it is early season, but these should never have been dispatched.
I was so much looking forward to buying more plants from CA from now until spring - sorry but absolutely not.
