James in the Gyle centre was fantastic. When we couldn't find shoes for our son, he went the extra mile to help us find a pair that our child liked, which were on sale and we ended up leaving with two pairs and a very happy boy. Thank you so much, James.

I've bought my number of applicants pair of an ankle boots but it's so hard to put them on and off and they are so tight. I wish a could change them but I already use them just for a few hours. I'm not comfy at all with them.

We went to get our little girl some shoes from Clark’s at the Gyle. The helpfulness and attention to detail from our sales assistant Susan was fantastic!

Visited the gyle clarks and got served by Callum, absolutely amazing service from him, I had loads different shoes out, he relentlessly went back and forth getting different sizes, gave me great advice on the sizing and was pleasant, patient (extremely patient) throughout the whole time.

I ordered shoes online. I had problems with the shoe size on a specific shoe. CLARKS staff in the local store handled the problem efficiently. I couldn't ask for more.

Boots were good quality but unfortunately didn’t fit because they were too wide on calf. Returned to local store where for the first time I felt pressure to justify return and why I would not like to try something else and exchange. This would put me off ordering online again.

Great experience in store from Chloe who made shoe shopping so very happy for our 3 year old granddaughter. She is delighted with her shiny pink shoes.

Clarks in The Gyle shopping centre is great! This is mainly due to one member of staff named Chris. He went above and beyond to make my little one feel settled and was very precise about measuring her feet. He went to the back of store to look for more shoes in her size to see if we could find something well liked and we did! Overall stellar service which has renewed my faith in Clarks as the leading company in fitting children’s shoes.

Lovely, friendly and helpful lady who gave good advice. She made time to interact with Reya (1 year old) who was then very comfortable to have her feet measured and to try on her first shoes. Reya loved her visit to the Clarks shop and immediately started to walk more confidently than when she was in her socks!

Really lovely experience getting our little boy his first shoes this morning in Edinburgh Gyle store. Chloe was so helpful and took time with our son whilst measuring his feet. Also helpful on advising what shoes most appropriate etc. Nice relaxed experience.

So pleased and relieved to have had such a quick and easy shopping experience getting new school shoes for my daughter. The store had set up a space outside the shop with seats and some styles on display where they could measure children's feet in a quieter space from inside the shop. The male sales advisor was really knowledgeable and helpful explaining to me the best size to go for. It was busy in the shop but the team were attending to everyone and another male approached me straight away to ask if we needed help. We had a quick look and my daughter picked a couple of pairs to try on. He then returned to us to check the fit and gave some useful advice. It was lovely to have such good service, particularly when dealing with children and overall the team at the Gyle made what could have been a stressful end to school uniform shopping a very pleasant experience. Coming from someone who worked in retail for years, It's nice to know that customer service is not gone in all shops on the high street!

I went in to buy my daughters first pair of shoes. Laylaa measured them at first and was very professional and kind. She then directed me into the store where I was assisted by Jack. Jack was very helpful, listened to what I needed and gave me a few options of shoes to choose from. A very positive experience! Thank-you.
