A lovely lady named Grace was very patient with my little girl whilst she tried on some trainers. Quick service , and went out of her way to help me find the right ones.
Horrible customer service.
The customer service here was terrible. Two employees, Aleesha and Eamon mocked my mother’s injuries regarding a shoe we had brought earlier. While the shoes were a different issue, the disgusting attitude and behaviour we experienced from them was disappointing.
Aleesha threatened to call security while also admitting we had posed no threat, leading us to believe that she was acting on stereotypical bias. And Eamon repeatedly mocked and disrespected us, making other customers feel uncomfortable as one had even reached out to us after the incident.
The employees need proper training and need to know how to treat people with basic respect.

2 employees, Aleesha, and Eamon were acting extremely disrespectful and rude
We came in store to ask about a possible compensation or change of shoe for ankle boots I had payed £56 for, as they had given me bruises (to the point of bleeding) after just wearing them for a few hours. The first employee I talked to, Aleesha, had asked us to get a receipt so she could exchange or compensate for us, however, later on she changed her mind and said she could not do anything about it. She told us it must have been a sizing issue or that it was our fault for not walking in them at home beforehand. When we tried to argue against this case and how it was impossible for us to know I would get bruises, Aleesha kept raising her voice and repeatedly threatened to call security.
We were confused at the fact as we had neither raised our voice, nor had said anything offensive. When we asked why she would do that, she denied ever bringing up security, and that it was our fault for not leaving the store.
Her brother, Eamon then joined the conversation and started raising his voice at us. He repeated what I had said In a mocking tone, and continued to mock us throughout the conversation. He said, ‘I dare you to call security!’ ‘I dare you to call my manager (Amanda), I promise you she will be on my side’ and ‘you can’t do anything to me’.
When we tried to leave the store, he then said ‘are you still going to wear the shoes??’ ‘Do they not hurt anymore??’ Even though we had shown them the bleeding. They both continued to act immaturely. It seems to be a repeating issue as there are many similar complaints here, as well as one about the stores manager, Amanda. We even had a customer come by after as a witness to confirm the extremely disgusting behaviour.

Excellent service
I saw some sandles online, half price and purchased them. They were delivered to my local Clarks store. The whole process was fast and efficient. The sandles are great.
Horrendous customer service at WhiteRose Shopping Centre store
I’ve been an avid shopper at Clark’s for all three of my children over the past 11 years but sadly, my latest experience in the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds has finally put a stop to me shopping there again. I bought some school shoes for my little girl in August but after her complaining the back of her feet were hurting, I discovered that it was because the inside of the back of the shoe had worn away. The stuffing had come out as the lining was badly ripped and they were in a sorry state. As I explained to Clarks, I would have expected much better quality (as i’ve normally experienced with Clarks shoes) but Amanda, the shop manager, seemed to disagree. She made my little girl put the shoes on in the store and claimed that her feet had grown so much (but she didn’t measure her feet to confirm this) that the friction had worked away the lining. Now, my little girl only does part time hours at nursery so I knew it wasn’t general wear and tear. I also fail to see how shoes which were slightly too small would have caused friction-surely there would be a lot less friction with the feet being snug in the shoes. Either way; Amanda did not care about my experience or disappointment in the quality of shoe. She didn’t ask to see when the proof of purchase was for to ascertain whether they were actually outside of the 6 month guarantee and neither did she care that myself and my little girl were left to feel frustrated, let down and upset by the shop experience. She stated there was nothing they could do to help.

Good afternoon,
Good afternoon,
I am a regular customer at Clark’s UK, for a long time in different locations. I would like to express my thankful and appreciation for your remarkable staff Ms. Amanda, Leeds WhiteRose shopping centre. She is friendly and professional, she is a credit to the company. During my visit for the past 4 years, and yesterday’s visit she used to help my children with the correct school shoes and sizes, with her beautiful smile. Thank you Amanda and thank you Clare for your assistance too yesterday.
Kind regards, Randa
Today we went to The Whiterose
Today we went to The Whiterose, and was helped by Karen.
Karen is really professional, super kind and very approachable. She made an effort to communicate with my 2 year old, laughing and smiling at her - even asked her name.
Karen made our experience relaxed and enjoyable.
Thank you very much, we hope to see you next time!
PLEASE READ BEFORE VISIT
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I experienced today at your White Rose. Upon visiting the store to purchase shoes for my 2-year-old daughter, I requested assistance in measuring her feet. To my shock, the staff member we interacted with was incredibly rude and dismissive, instructing us to select shoes first, rather than offering the basic assistance we had asked for.
The unprofessional and disrespectful behavior we encountered was unacceptable and left us feeling highly uncomfortable. Consequently, we made the decision to leave the store and take our business elsewhere.
After reading other customer reviews, it appears that this kind of treatment is a recurring issue at this location. This speaks to a broader problem with the store’s standards, which are far from what I expect from your brand. I strongly believe that the head office should be made aware of the situation and take immediate action to address the lack of customer service at this branch.
I will not be returning to this location and will instead seek out alternatives where customer service is valued. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make improvements where necessary.
Sincerely,
——————————————————-
I have already contacted head office and Neil barrows.

If bad customer service was a person
White rose, leeds. If bad customer service was a person, it would be the manager of this store! She was so unbothered to assist, flippant and more or less told me 'its not our problem, buy another pair'. I had gone in with a pair of shoes for my daughter that were scuffed within 3 days of wearing them from brand new. I asked one of the personnel who made effort to assist and they called the manager who looked me up and down while flipping through some papers on the till and told me 'its not our fault, we cant do anything' as she walked off. I was left stood there wondering if i had dressed wrong or maybe not worth the trouble, because of the way she looked me up and down and dismissed my query. I went to a different store and they were shocked that the manager at white rose did not replace the shoes because they should have. I have had to buy a new pair from a different clarks store, after paying more than £50 for the first pair. Im so disgusted by such customer service, for a company like Clarks to retain such staff, and ignore customer complaints - its appalling!! I noted im not the only customer unhappy with white rose staff especially the manager..
If your staff are not ready to work with customers maybe there is need for re-training unless it is your policy now to mistreat customers. Wether a customer is paying £1 or £100 in your store at least dont have them feel less human like i felt.

Measured my daughters shoes for school
Measured my daughters shoes for school, perfect. Although they didn't have the shoes in stock, Karouna at white rose was very helpful.
Karolina made our experience exciting
Karolina made our experience exciting, she was very friendly with the kids and she was very patient as she kept going in to look for the kid’s sizes.
We were very impressed and satisfied with our purchase because was meant to make sure we got what we wanted!
Feared school shoe shop
We had the feared school shoe with our autistic son. We always use Clarks because it feels like nothing is too much for them. On this visit we were served by Hassan who is a new/training member of staff. I was worried about how this might go but I was blown away by his ability to adjust to our son and make he feel comfortable and get the best fit possible for his shoes. We will be coming back time and again I feel
Calm at the busiest time of year!
Back to school madness and the Clarks ladies were so calm, professional and helpful. Big shout out to Kayla and Denise for their assistance.
