Really helpful and friendly service from Tracy. She went above and beyond to find me a shoe that fitted me. I have wide feet, take size 13 shoes and have special insoles prescribed by a podiatrist. She even took my purchase to my buggy parked outside the shop. Truly amazing

Had a really great experience at Clarks. I wasn’t sure which shoes I wanted, so I asked for some advice and explained that I was looking for something comfortable that I could simply slip on.

Callum and Glen were both incredibly helpful, friendly and patient. They listened to what I was looking for and helped me find a pair that was perfect for me. I’m really happy with my new shoes and would definitely recommend Clarks, especially for the great customer service.

I don’t do reviews but … Sunit at the Bedford store went above and beyond to find me the right shoes for my daughter’s wedding. Really couldn’t have asked for better service which is so rare these days!

Very disappointed with Clarks customer service.

I bought a pair of Clarks trainers in March and have only worn them three times. Each time, one shoe was extremely uncomfortable and rubbed my foot badly. I initially assumed it was simply a fit issue, but I have now realised that the stitching on the shoe is faulty.

I contacted Clarks and asked for an exchange, not a refund, but they have refused because I wore the shoes outside. I was told that I should have worn them indoors first.

I find this very disappointing. The problem was not obvious when I first tried the shoes on, and I only became aware that there was an actual fault after wearing them. They have only been worn three times.

I would have expected a large, established company like Clarks to take a more reasonable approach and stand behind the quality of its products, particularly when a customer is only asking for an exchange.

Very poor customer service from a brand I would normally associate with quality.

Having raised the issue of the Clark sandal no longer being a quality sandal (far from it) bearing in mind I traversed the cliffs of Cornwall in a very robust sandal made by Mr Clark..,I was advised by their customer service to go to a Clark shop and try on some sandals to find one that would suit me..,I’m afraid the customer service person is missing the point.,,hey ho..,I don’t want a replacement I don’t want a new pair..,just passing on my 50 years of sandal wearing experience…

Great quality footwear for all ages. Customer service is always spot on too. Order online and get items delivered efficiently. Any issues, plenty of stores to visit to resolve. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Clarks for my son’s shoes for 6 years now in Scarborough and the service is exceptional. They have been great with him and me. All the staff are so helpful and lovely.

I grew up on the Clarks brand. When I was a kid Clarks was the first place my Mum and Dad took me to buy shoes.

Now a while ago I had a load of love2shop voucher and Clarks in Ormskirk were doing some special offers. I am a sucker for a special offer so I decided to go in.

You will not believe how helpful the staff are! I told them what I wanted. I mentioned that I am a vegetarian and I don't like to buy leather shoes and Danielle said "No problem at all." They measured my feet and helped me look for what I was after.

Now I am a personal trainer. I do aerobics classes and you will not believe how fast I go through trainers. Not this time. Theoretically those trainers were more expensive than cheaper brands. However given that they have lasted so long I am quids in I have saved a lot of money!

It's been 12 months since I bought those trainers and they are still just like they were when I bought them. By now, with cheaper brands I would have gone though 4 (or probably more) pairs of trainers by now. These have lasted a year now and they are still going strong. Not only do Clarks kit you out with the best shoes for purpose they supply you with things to keep your shoes in shape. For example this spray to waterproof our shoes.

Now only that my better half loves handbags (what lady doesn't?) and they had some very reasonably priced handbags on sale. Trust me when I said my better half loved them.

So the usual questions.

Are they worth the money? Yes. their products last so long they save you money in the long run. Good value at 10 times the price.

Would I go there again? All day ever day.

Would I recommend them to anyone else? Of course.

What would I recommend the public to do? Clarks should be your first port of call when it comes to shoes and handbags.

All in all I was left shaken but not stirred.

I went to Clark’s Stratford served by hemi. I usually buy stuff online but as my grandad always says “invest in shoes, never skimp on shoes.” Which is why I decided to get my babies first shoes from Clark’s. Was not disappointed as Hemi (who served me) had 20 years of experience and did so with so much love and wisdom. Bought so much joy to the experience ❤️

Not much to say about Clarks other than they are ultra reliable and the quality is exceptional. Super fast delivery and excellent service. What else did you expect me to say from such an established and quality brand.

After buying a bad car wount say where put it into Clark gossling for repairs and sort it out for me as I was worried sick as we visit hospital a lot this garage is honest with me fixed my car took my worries away I would not use any other garage I’m upset not with Clark but where I bought the car nevermind Clark gossling garage got me back on road safly thank you all mr Peter child’s

I ordered a size 3 shoe in store and paid £35. The wrong size was sent to me so I called up and asked for an exchange. I followed their instructions and sent the shoes back for an exchange for a size 3 I ordered.I was given a refund of £27.05 instead of an exchange.

It's taken me weeks to week for the £7.95 they owe me. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. It shouldn't take 3 calls and many emails to get back the money I am owed.

Never order a shoe in store for home delivery as it will end up costing you if they send you the wrong size.

My next step is to do a bank charge back as they are refusing to pay me the £7.95 they owe me.

I'm a loyal customer and always order shoes with them. Never again as I'm so disappointed with their customer service. All I wanted was the £35 back I paid for the shoe I paid for but they messed up and sent me the wrong size and it's cost me £8 for their mistake.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced . If you purchase anything and pay half with gift card and half with cash and need to return they will only give you a refund on a gift card despite saying in their policy that it will be refunded the same way as you purchased . The system does not give the shops the option to refund your cash only give you gift card which means you end with a bigger gift card than you had at beginning . You write to there head office and get absolutely no where . AVOID at all costs

Hi thanks for ur reply . I have written so many e mails to complaints department and asked for it to be forwarded to escalation department they said they were that department and still say can’t help they said maybe shops are implementing these rules ! Shop was one that said write as they couldn’t get it sorted . Have asked for deadlock letter so I can take it to independent person to resolve still nothing !

Went to Clark’s at Middlebrook for my 1 year old to get some new shoes, Safa was really friendly and made my son feel comfortable, even brought extra shoes out for him to try that weren’t on the shelf, which ended up being the ones we bought.

My son's school shoes fell apart within a week of wear with the front part of the sole coming unglued. I didn't want to believe the bad reviews about Clarks and I'm honestly amazed at how poor the quality of the shoes have become. For context I have been buying Clarks shoes for my kids for 17 years. But what made the whole experience worse was the bad attitude of Nell C at the Milton Keynes brand today. She was defensive and rude. Not the sort of experience you'd expect after being sold faulty shoes. She was particularly rude after I said that I didn't want an exchange and wanted my money back instead. Moreover she didn't explain the return process fully or when I should expect my money back. The whole experience means I won't be using Clarks again for school shoes.

I went to Clarks situated in Enfield Town and had the most pleasant encounter with a staff member named Tiwe. I brought my 6 year old son with me to get his feet measured and to buy some school shoes. From the very start, her warm & welcoming energy made my very shy son feel very at ease. She was engaging in conversation with him, made him laugh and gave me recommendations on several shoes to try. All whilst the shop was extremely busy. Her service was sensational and I really admire her work ethic. Nothing was slap dashed. A true model member of staff that the site should be really proud to have. Thank you so much Tiwe

Once again outstanding service from Hassan - Manager of clarks in Watford Intu. I remember purchasing two years ago and thinking he and his colleague were so helpful. I went back last week and recognised him after a few minutes as his customer service was once again outstanding. I will definitely be going back again sooner.

On 28 August 2026, we visited the Clarks store at Middlebrook Retail Park. Having had a very different experience at various Clarks stores, we were left with little faith our little one would be measured correctly, but we were served by Humaira A and she was absolutely fantastic!

Humaira took the time to listen to our negative experiences and pay attention to our little one's needs. We left the store feeling confident we had the correct shoes in the correct size, ready for the start of the school year. Thank you, Humaira (A). We are very grateful for your time, patience, and kindness shown to our little one.

Ella in Carmarthen store was very helpful in measuring and finding first shoes that fit well for my grandson. Great customer service!
