Excellent staff when buying children's shoes.
Took my granddaughter, age 7, to buy new school shoes. My granddaughter dislikes the feeling of new shoes and the process of buying new shoes distressing.. Store assistant Shabnam explained how new shoes, even when fitted correctly, feel restrictive when new but with wearing become flexible. Shabnam suggested trying plain leather shoes as they are softer when new than patent leather. My granddaughter listened and followed this advice. She was so pleased that the shoes she tried on were comfortable and that she had new school shoes. My granddaughter has asked to return to Clarks, Newcastle for all future shoes. Many thanks to Shabnam for her great communication skills, empathy and kindness.
