I place a small order that never arrived. After 6 weeks I tried contacting Clayman, twice by email, twice by phone (never any answers, only the possibility of leaving a message). After 2 weeks of trying to contact them, I gave up. Do not do business with them!
I called Clayman on Thursday - I had been looking for a place to get supplies for a new pottery wheel and they were the nearest to Southampton. I was worried that I was going to have to drive to Chichester to pick things up, but NO - They do next day delivery!!! I was so happy, because I had a friend coming over on the weekend to help me set up the wheel and have a go and I had nothing. Clayman delivered two bags of clay and a few little bits and pieces I needed - all arriving by noon on Friday! They did miss out one piece (not really sure they were to blame because I was being a bit ditsy), but I called them and the piece was received the next day. This was proper, excellent customer service and I will be going back to them for all my pottery supplies from now on! If you need something - give them a call - they are super-helpful and knowledgeable.
