Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 41 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Patients frequently struggled with poor communication, unreturned phone calls, and disorganized administrative processes that left them waiting endlessly for appointments, medical answers, or proper referrals. Billing practices and unexpected charges were another major source of deep frustration, with consumers feeling overwhelmed by confusing invoices and rigid prepayment demands. Some reviewers were happy with dedicated medical staff who provided exceptional care and performed successful, complex procedures. Reviewers also appreciated compassionate individual nurses and doctors who made them feel welcome, offering comforting, professional treatment during critical moments.

Cleveland Clinic Cardiology is the BEST.

I am under the care of Dr Helguera and PA Maria Petta. of electrocardiology clinic. First praise is to Odallys and Elizabeth and Janet the Pacemaker specialist. It took a few attempts to get the setting perfect. Now it is awesome. They make me feel at home but always professional. PA Petta is so nice and smart. I am in great hands with this caring team ....5 STARS

Went to Cleveland Clinic in urgent need and left urgently needing competent treatment

My experience at Cleveland Clinic Weston was deeply concerning. I presented with documented bilateral hydronephrosis with possible obstruction, a known 17mm kidney stone, and ongoing neurological issues including multiple prior cerebellar strokes and daily debilitating migraines. I sought medically necessary imaging, including an MRI with contrast and a MAG-3 scan, which had been recommended by other physicians. These were not ordered.

During my visit with urologist Dr. Leonard Kaufman, he raised his voice toward me. I specifically asked the attending nurse to note this, and she did not disagree. I left the appointment without the diagnostic testing that had been discussed as necessary for my condition. I subsequently obtained the required testing from an outside urologist, who acted promptly to assess whether I was in a potentially life-threatening situation.

In addition, I experienced a lack of follow-up and communication from other providers. One nurse practitioner advised she would prescribe a migraine medication that could significantly reduce my symptoms, but the prescription was never called in and no follow-up occurred despite multiple patient messages.

I was also discharged without coordinated follow-up care, specialist referrals, or continuity of treatment. As a patient with complex medical needs, I found this lack of communication, coordination, and responsiveness unacceptable.

Instead of testing

Instead of testing, dr Delacure said youve lived with it this long. Then referred me and dr micah timen who referred me, and of course my condition worsened. What i would have given for some testing and care! I hate your lazy pompous circle of referrals when you dont want to do any testing.

Ashley Dias and my family

Ashley Dias and my family, it is with immeasurable pain and anger to this day I write. My daughter Ashley Dias put her life in the hands of Dr. Bedev and the Cleveland Clinic and the transplant team, trusting them to provide not only expert medical care, but human compassion. What we received after insurance paid out 1.2 million dollars (after they waited for approval before accepting her) was indifference wrapped in protocol, cold professionalism that felt more like a business transaction, looking at dollars instead of in the eyes of a hopeful child and loving family. Shame on you, Dr. Bedev and the Cleveland Clinic. I will always tell the CF families that come to me for advice NOT to go anywhere near the Cleveland Clinic for a double lung transplant.

Horrible Hospital

My mother was in the ER with severe pain in her back. After 4 hours passed the nurse came over to me and said. Your mother has a fractured vertebrae and walked away. I could not believe how uncaring and incompetent this nurse was. I said my mother needs pain medicine. Right away she said I am getting security. I could not believe how my mother and I were treated. After reading my mother’s hospital records she blatantly lied about what occurred in the ER. She said things that were not true in the medical records. She accused me of screaming and yelling in the ER. This is not true. She needs to be investigated. The nurses name is Erica Alvarado.

My husband was in patient on the 3rd…

My husband was in patient on the 3rd floor the week of July 14th, 2025. He was needing a Cardioversion. The floor staff was very attentive, available and helpful!! He stayed 3 nights and had several different nurses, aids and techs assisting him through this process. We have NO complaints. Dr. Faulkier and Kyle were very prompt and informative also! Everyone was great!

A big thank you to Alex, Jackson, Payton, Eugenia, Melanie and Emily....you all are the best!

Worse Diabetes Care ever

I made an appt to see Dr. Libatore, endocrinologist Believe it or not I couldn't get an appt until June, then a month after I made the appt they changed it to July at 1230, it was printed in my Chart. I then checked my email, and I received a letter telling me I missed my 800am appt. I never make an appt for 8am because I can't get up that early. I called the office and told them I would come that day. When I got there she told me the next appt for new patients is March 17th. I told her to go f herself and I left. I will never ever go to an endocrinologist at CC Florida again. I would rather manage my diabetes myself. The last one I saw there didn't know what the hell he was doing anyway. This is the worse health care system in FL. We were better off before they came here to Martin County. I am thinking of finding another Primary care so I don't have to ever deal with these money grubbers again.

CC cares NOTHING about patients.

I went to my appointment and the front desk said they cancelled it. I never got a phone call or text but they said it was on MyChart.
The Cleveland Clinic is now too big to help patients.

I have had THE WORST experience with…

I have had THE WORST experience with their program for Financial assistance. I have no insurance, nor money, I got on their program for assistance and it's been a nightmare and I still have to pay out of pocket. They lie and scheme the system so it's not covered. Then you call to get an Approval letter, and you get nothing. So any bills you get, are your responsibility. I will Never use them again. Shameful and disgusting. They still haven't paid up what they were supposed to and now I face collections and will ruin my credit, due to their negligence. Word of advice, just don't get financial assistance.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would, horrible expériences with cleveland clinic, scheduling is a nightmare, the physician recommends amount of visits, scheduling is unable to meet those demands and says call to schedule, tried that nothing, 7/2/2025 had a virtual visit scheduled the clinic marked it as a past appointment and removed the zoom link, the scheduling department hung up twice, never resolved they never called back, I have not seen the specialists in months and now no hope of it happening soon as the doctor is scheduled out the remainder of year!!!

Avoid Neurologist James Teo & Cleaveland, it's the worst

I had a very bad experience at Cleveland Clininc London. The Neurologist Teo James refused to diagnosed a long term condition and it refused to address the real long term issue and pushed a short term solution that I tried before and it never worked, despite the fact that I already told the doctor about this. Dr Teo did not even allowed me to tell him the symtops I had during the visit and he twisted the matter and the diagnistic. He refused to even refer me for additional tests, despite the fact that I specifically requested that. It's concerning that doctors refuse to work in the best interest of the patients. I will never book any appointment with this doctor or with this clinic. Unless the Cleveland requests its doctors to deliver the best diagnostics and treatments for customers and unless doctors will work in the best interest of patients, listening to the concerns of the customers, it will struggle to maintain loyal customers and to build a good customer portfolio. This clinic faild to deliver premium private services and not worth a penny

First time at this Clinic......

First time at this Clinic......

I have not been to this facility before and came for a MRI. The staff from start to finish were attentive and of course kind. My experience was limited but still good enough to merit a review. The main reason I am writing this is, whilst I was waiting near the exit, I saw two people come into the reception area and one of the members of staff, Rahab or Rabah, forgive me if I have your name wrong, was present. One of the people was hobbling and he immediately went to get a wheelchair. You may think that should be obvious, but really it is not, in many of the places that I have been to, but the speed and the manner in how the patient was taken care of is noteworthy. As I left I told him it was kind of him to do so, he was humble and said, no he saw she had difficulty in walking and wanted to help. Its not enough to be professional, and in this industry of Caregiving, the manner in how you are treated is so important. Thank you.

by far the dirtiest and most uncaring…

by far the dirtiest and most uncaring health facilities I have even been to I would not even take a dead rat to any place connected to it. Clevland clinic only recognize blind people and their service animals as the only a real service dog and disability, and now apparently only true service animal in their eyes are leader of the blind. What about hearing, seizure or PTSD or that's right those are not real disability's according to this so called health facilities but they don't understand disabilities, I see a major law suit coming their way soon so stay away worst care and doctors in area go to Sebastian or Lawnwood and they don't care if you have a service animal Cleveland Clinic is not caring try sitting in ER 8 hours before even being seen! went to Sebastain in and out 2 hours CC suck only go there is you want to unalive any one

Cleveland clinic gave me my 2 sons…

Cleveland clinic gave me my 2 sons and I will forever be grateful for them. The doctors are amazing there! Best of the best!

But the hospital itself... I'll never forget being forced to do ivf alone bc my husband wasn't allowed in there do to covid. Neither of us were sick or around anyone sick. I also couldn't have my husband at our sonogram. Having to get pregnant alone is emotionally scarring and I won't forget it. I'm glad it worked but I was constantly afraid my husband wouldn't be allowed at the birth. All of this for covid, which no one even cares about anymore.

Cleveland Clinic RIPS YOU OFF

The charges from Cleveland Clinic are insane. They have used their reputation to bully health plans into adding "hospital charges" no matter where a service is provided. I was scheduled for 45 minutes of shoulder surgery at the Lakewood YMCA, and my out-of-pocket cost would have been more than $600. How dare they charge hundreds for "hospital services" at a YMCA?? Their charge for shoulder therapy at the Y was $900/hour. For the 15 minutes of shoulder therapy I got after a brief outpatient procedure, they charged $750 -- that's $3000 PER HOUR. Get out of here.

I am also scheduling a lung scan. The out-of-pocket costs for the exact same procedure at University Hospitals is more than $300 less than what Cleveland Clinic would have charged me.

AVOID THE CLEVELAND CLINIC. If you don't, you will pay -- and I mean that literally.

Seriously?

One would think that scheduling an appointment (yes I’ve had an account for many years) wouldn’t be a major motion picture. I just spoke with a total bimbo who kept asking me for a medical reason to make an appointment with a Urologist. Apparently the half dozen reasons I gave her didn’t precisely correspond to her menu of options. And she had the personality and manners of a bruised tomato. I think I’ll go elsewhere. Besides, my past experience is that the physicians frequently call in sick the day of the appointment.

Just went to pick up RX and discussed…

Just went to pick up RX and discussed with pharmacy how BAD Cleveland Clinic is in this area. Pharmacy said they have not had a good experience with them since they started taking in Doctors in our area. Getting through to the doctor is impossible through them. When I see the doctor in the office they are now telling me to contact them directly. So why is Cleveland Clinic adding so many levels of review before getting to the doctor. I foresee medical malpractice payouts to my med mal attorney friends.
