Poor quality photos and poor user experience
Tried calling them for 3 days in a row - no answer. Then tried writing to them via their website contact form - no answer. Very happy to take your money via your order online, but just you dare to try and query anything afterwards...
Messaged about an issue with school photos. No reply. No customer service. They just want your cash and don’t care.
Well, what a horrible company, my Daughters last school photo is absolutely beautiful, well apart from the editing mistake. My daughter wears glasses and for some reason one of the frames has been bent out of shape. A blemish was under said frame and does not appear in the photo uploaded on the website. Contacted school who then sent me contact details for this company and after speaking to them they are adamant they do not edit photos. Blamed lighting and angles, sent me a snap from straight of the camera, guess what... glasses normal and blemish there, apparently its a resolution issue now.
Sounded very smarmy on the phone, talking about his 30 year experience but can't explain or admit that yes some photos were editing and they made a mistake and upload the originals. I said i had a friend who was a photographer by trade and he dismissed that saying well your friend does not have the experience we have, what a very condescending and pompous comment to make. Such as shame as is the last school photo she will have and expected to pay £46 for a clear distortion on all 3 photos. It is not a mild distortion either, clearly visible to even those who do not have years of experience.
Some students had piercings and hair colour changed so there is editing going on but why not just admit and correct?
I would think twice about using this company.
What to say other did not say.
Price is... expensive to say the least, mostly if you consider the service you get. No service at all, received photo bent, Showed proof and only feedback I get is by login on the platform and see lab and photograph saw the claim.
Avoid and suggest your school to avoid as well
Have paid over £30 in November and still have not received any photos, photos have said to be re-sent out in late December after complaints made but yet to receive anything. Very disappointed
£49 for a digital download of 3 photos that are hideous! My child is not engaged in fact she looks pretty peeved and then when they told her to smile it looks like she’s about to be pushed against the wall to be executed. I have never seen such awful school photos, ever and that saying something as my son was autistic and didn’t know how to smile!
Why are schools using this company? Total rip off. With people who can’t take pictures. I absolutely refuse to call them photographers!!!
All I can say is I’m glad it’s saved me wasting any money at all. my LO teacher took a better photo at the start of term.
School photos taken a week ago and still not available to view or purchase, apparently they are putting the finishing touches to the photos and they will be available on an unspecified date. Companies like these are the reason that I always request that the school uses a local photographer who doesn't overcharge or keep us waiting!
Slapping a pretty poor B&W filter over a fairly crap photo to justify there being 6 photographs is fairly shady to start with.
The pictures are truly awful. Which is probably for the best given that 3 printable downloads (the cheapest option) is £36. The absolute cheapest is 1 social media size unsuitable for printing is £9. 250 kids x 9 is 2.5k which they maybe could have earned if they hadn't made my own child's face suddenly repulsive.
Which is pretty difficult given we think he's adorable as all hell.
Absolutely disgraceful that a company such as this can charge ridiculous prices and the school use them time again.
Cost for 1 x 7x5 print in 2022 is £14! Add the £5 delivery to this takes it to £19!!!!
Obviously 1 medium photo weighs so much it justifies the £5 delivery cost and with an estimated 1,500 pupils in my daughters school all having parents paying for delivery you think £7,500 of delivery costs would justify some discount.
I cannot believe that the schools allow this continue as they know parents are pressured into purchasing these to capture those iconic school photos which we have for decades. It seems the schools haven’t caught on to the fact that you could hire any photographer with similar software for a fraction of the price and they would likely have better morals and charge a fair price for the service.
I urge any schools who use this service to take a moment to review the actual cost to parents and maybe invest a little time in researching the market to find alternatives.

Regarding: school photos
Our children's school continues to use this company and all I can say is that the end products are and have been abysmal each year. I refused to purchase last year because they were that awful!
It's as though they are paid to point, click and then move onto the next. No or very little effort is made to try and help children to relax so they feel comfortable to smile. In our sibling photo, the way they have them stood is terrible. Our 7 yo daughter is very tall and towered over our poor 4 yo. That and the angle of the photo was not flattening in the slightest. They could have sat her on a stool with our little boy standing either infront/at a slight angle.
I and many other parents have requested that our school do not use this company again because it's obvious that they don't care about achieving the best end product.
I only purchased one of my 4 yo son because we did for our daughter when she was the same age. It's not even as though they're cheap, because they're certainly not.
I took photography in college and had an A*.. I've invested in a dslr and it's honestly not that difficult to achieve good photos if the effort is put in! If they are used at the school again next year- I plan to stage our own photos with a backdrop.
My advice is, if you are contemplating hiring them. Don't. There are so many other better companies out there that are passionate about their career and it speaks volumes when you see their client photos.
The quality of the photos may be decent but customer service is non existent. The photos take ages to come back with a preview (still haven’t had anything and not even a reply to my email) and the prices are extortion. All other schools have had there’s already and we’re always kept waiting months.
