Shoe design is AGONY

Have a pair of their shoes I recently purchased - was yet to wear them and have took them as my only pair to wear on a trip to Berlin.
The PAIN I’m in. The quality of the exterior is very nice, no doubt about that. But the sole is rock solid and I’m in absolute agony with them. My feet are swollen, red and bruised.
Tried both with insoles and without - no difference. The insoles simply add a very strange bump in the middle of the shoe - not sure as to why as my it does not align with the shape of someone’s foot.
A redesign in this shoe base is very much needed, wish I’d chose another pair to bring with me.
