Very bad resort for rest

Must say, the facilities are great.

Why one star, because they promote being a sport resort. I came there to sport and rest.

It’s more like a children’s playground. Big groups of school kids making loud noise until late after midnight. Drunk groups of kids singing and cheering. The houses are so noisy, sleeping is not possible at all.

Went to the reception multiple times, and they said I must call the reception when it happens.

My last night I think I called the reception 6-7 times, nothing happened and the house of the groups partying all night was endless. I counted every hour.

The only response was “there is a disco right now”

Sadly needed to check out 2 days in advance. The biggest problem was that I expected health, sport and rest, which isn’t met at the resort.

If it’s only for the sport, stay at your local gym, there you can train as well.

250-300 euros a nght is a bit of a overpay.

Excellent active holiday

I had a fantastic time here as a couple, such a wide range of activities for everyone and the facilities them selves are of a high quality. Staff are very welcoming and helpful too in all aspects. Only downside is our room had no air conditioning which can make it hard to cool down in the heat, although we were in a budget room so not sure if this is the same for all rooms

Always a blast at Club La Santa:)

I've been visiting Club La Santa over the past five years, it's been a blast every time.
The tournaments they arrange are incredible, pickleball and padel was the two i could book and they were the most fun i've had in a while. It's a bit hard to find arrangements that isn't fully booked, so if you want to play tournaments or have a private instruction,
get the qr code for the app and book as soon as you arrive.
5/5 great experience every time:)

Truly unique holiday experience

Truly unique holiday experience with access to amazing cycling on the island. One of the rare places where single travellers, couples, families of all ages and nationalities co-exist at ease with a common interest in fitness and sunshine. Yes little bits could be better here and there, but I can't wait until my next trip and will be going there as often as I can!

Great trip!

Stayed in a 1 bed apartment with no view last week. I was nervous having read some of the reviews that the room would be too hot to sleep in, and not well maintained but was pleasantly surprised. However, there was a lovely breeze at all times which made sleeping easy, the apartment had been renovated a few years before and was clean and well maintained.
The facilities are incredible - there is a lot of money and care being put into ensuring there is virtually any sport you can think of (padel, tennis, athletics, cross fit, golf, table tennis, rock climbing etc). The 3x10 lane 50m pools are absolutely fantastic.
The instructors on the whole were enthusiastic and friendly. I empathize that trying to get the classes at the right level for everyone is really difficult, so would recommend signalling how hard or easy they are on the timetable. Some of the classes I participated in, a large % of the time was spent explaining the exercises and equipment e.g. TRX. In contrast, the organised races (Hyrox, triathlon) were fantastic, and I enjoyed the varied swim squad sessions.
The Atlantic restaurant gets mixed reviews and I can see why. However, I did feel as though the chefs are trying to take on board the feedback and there is a different theme every night now, as well as a great salad bar and lots of fruit for dessert.
I'd recommend this for either those really into sport who want to train, or families with kids between 7 and 16. However, be prepared to have to entertain your kids a lot if they are under 15 as lots of the activities do not allow kids under that age (some from 10+).
I wouldn't recommend this as a regular holiday for those not into sport as the price understandably covers the facilities, instructors etc so will seem overpriced for those that are looking for a relaxing pool holiday.

Ridiculously overpriced

Ridiculously overpriced. Caters only for Danish and Danish schools. Everyone else treated like an inconvenience. Food terrible in the paid restaurants and also overpriced. The inclusive food hall experience is just a school canteen, with hundreds of Danish pupils ensuring everyone is aware of their superior status - because they are from Denmark. Sports Instructors have lots of enthusiasm but not always qualified to be teaching and leading the activities they are delivering. A definite case of over selling and under-delivering. Disappointing to part with so much money but be left questioning the return.

The best hotel

Very good and good service we are coming here every year. Very good idea to make a sportshotel there is nothing you cannot. There is morning run and stretching in the morning. The best place in the world.

Overpriced, little customer friendly

I'm here 2 weeks after reopening.
Its not really a nice experience.
I didn't get the room i booked, even the hotel is almost empty. this one is quite dark and noisy.
The food provided is changing regularly in time and location.
There is an app all activities ( which r reduced due to corona and people) must be booked before u can start, unfortunately i didn't get access to it.
First impression!? How am I gonna survive for 10 days??? 😭😢
