I won a competition with Coban Guitars…
I won a competition with Coban Guitars around 12 years ago, they put out a competition to design a guitar. They used my design, but I never got my prize. This is a corrupt company and definitely not trustworthy. I also bought my Sister one of the Coban Guitars and the build quality is not great, the sound (Just 12 year later) is horrible. She no longer plays it.
The Date of the incident is wrong, but it won't let me go back that far.

Excellent prs style kit
Guitar kit exactly as described, good quality, excellent spalted veneer. Components supplied are of good quality for the price point ( I have chosen to fit upgraded 4 wire pickups, locking tuners, and push/pull pots for coil splitting). I bought this kit after building a semi-hollow prs style about 6 months ago, which I am very happy with. Ordered on a Tuesday afternoon, arrived Thursday morning.

A quality product from a quality company
After an email query, which was answered quickly, I placed an order.
This arrived promptly.
Opening the box revealed a quality product.
The hard work has already been done; neck already fitted with frets, fingerboard, & truss rod.
What more could I ask?
All I need to do is decide what finish I might want to apply, and do some careful assembly.
Frankly, if I can do half as good a job as Cobain already have, I’ll be well pleased.
I would certainly have no hesitation in purchasing from this company again. So many thanks to the boys and girls involved.

Company were in contact with me on the same day I ordered to verify everything and the guitar kit arrived the day after that!
The kit came as expected and suitably packaged. The instructions on how to build the kit are contained in a nice, colour booklet that makes it all clear what to do.

Prompt, excellent service and quality kits
I mailed Coban guitars over a weekend, expecting a reply in the following working week, but they replied almost instantly.
Questions answered, I ordered a kit in the evening and by the following morning at 0802 it had been despatched.
It arrived the following day and it is of high quality. Recommended.

Pleasantly surprised.
Delivered within two days of ordering.
I bought a Strat' style on clearance offer and wasn't expecting too much in the way of quality, I was wrong! the body has a great grain pattern and is very solid. I dry built it to see how things fitted and didn't need to change anything. I am now tempted by their hollow .bodied Tele'. Great Job Coban.

Excellent quality kits at great prices
Excellent quality kits at great prices, the end product is dependant on a lot of hard work, patience and imagination, which is the real enjoyment of these kit builds. Be prepared to spend more on finishing materials, multiple grades of sandpaper, quality strings and (for me at least) some decent locking tuners. Now completed 2 guitars and looking forward to getting started on a third! Also free delivery by DPD very quick after placing order.

Fantastic kit bought for my nephew

Just not 100%, but pretty good.
First glance only, it’s not 100%. A bit of chipping near the purfling at the top backend. Tuners seem to have quite a bit of slack. I need to see how that works when the strings are on.
