Worst code marketplace currently

They don't hold scammy developers accountable for their rubbish practices. E.g secondary licensing, and they don't refund ANYONE. Also their support takes 5+ days to respond - Stay away from codecanyon, find another marketplace that appreciates you - Envato doesn't and they won't in the future either going by their historic changes and terms & conditions....

I would't recommend this company…

I would't recommend this company to anyone, they side with the developers and don't admit that some of the plugins which they sell are buggy, they delete negative comments no matter how civilized and polite you write them.

If you want buggy AF plugins

If you want buggy AF plugins, that is developed by seemingly preschool kids, than this is your place. After giving full data of the bugs founded, issues with the code, default settings that can't be cleared in the fields, very bad documentation, and support not really helpful, I requested a refund, but was refused a refund by the code author. I was not able to get a refund.
So money is lost. Highly recommend you purchase plugins at a more reputable site and the side hold their coders Itheir market place to a higher standard. CodeCanyon does not as seems like a scam. This is where you will get taken for a ride and you will NEVER get your refund on the buggy AF plugins even if you provide all the details and they can't fix all the issues your present then.

Codecanyon is not at all what is use to…

Codecanyon is not at all what is use to be since 2020 the support for refunds are made with pure difficulties. Allowing Authors to go against their rules. We purchased a platform with all addons from Bicrypto 6months ago and still with all the updates still to date the platform is a 100% waste of investment and man power. We have reported to Codecanyon who has ignored our request to date.

We have been a member since 2015 and to be scammed out of 2500€ is not good. I would now recommended for users to bypass Codecanyon

Horrible support and website.

So basically I charged back from them because I did not like the code I bought and they would not refund me. So I charged back and won. A few weeks later I realize my account is locked with all my themes etc… So I email them about getting my account unlocked and they said if I send them the money that I charged back they would unlocked my account. They also said as a courtesy they would refund my money also. I thought great! Unlocked my account and get my money back too! Well I sent them the money. And guess what….. they never unlocked my account and they thought they were going to keep my money. But I did a dispute and got my money back for the second time. Worst company ever!!! Do not trust them with your money!!!! Lies!

Since I'm an experienced freelancer I joined their market.

Since I'm an experienced freelance developer with several 100s projects completed over 2 decades on ScriptLance, RAC (called vWorker later on), etc. most of which do not exist anymore, I joined this market to make and sell video games. And I've developed 4-5 of them and placed on their market. All I received was few sales over a 2 months period that amounted to around $100, but I've worked 5-6 months developing them prior to be able to actually start selling them, because it takes time to develop. Anyway, I've noticed that more people were contacting me for support than actual purchases have been made. Also I've noticed that the game that was almost exact copy of my work just with altered graphics appeared and was earning 20 times more money than my game, which was actually better looking than that other game. So, to cut story short, when I realized they're actually selling more than they give you and are taking two thirds of every sale they decide to pass your way, you end up with pocket change money, which is a rip off and on top of that they steal your code and your ideas, alter them and then sell as their own work, I had to close account.

Horrible Company + Scam

You buy an extremely expensive item and try to redeem the item for the second time on the same domain name, and it gives you an error message with: "This purchase code has been used for the domain: example.com has been blocked!"

This company is literally the biggest scam, do me one big favor and do NOT buy anything from there!

Reviews on CodeCanyon are fake, they delete the real ones to sell low quality items and support

All ratings of items on CodeCanyon are not real and mislead all buyers. I was totally disappointed of an item + addon for it and the support for them for all my wasted time and effort for more than 1 year of work. And they were deleting my reviews every time I was trying to warn future buyers... I contact he support and that is what they answered: "Our guidelines on rating items mean that you must do this within 12 months of purchase.....". So - when you see 5-stared item there - don't believe. They won't give your money back (for the time and work it is impossible of course) and they won't allow you to give a real rating, unless it is 5 stared and encourages others to buy without knowing the real quality...

HIGH Risk

HIGH Risk: if you plan to buy a script, adapt it and go live with it, then be extremely careful. You might end up with a script that connects to a back end and send all your data in real-time. I reported one like this and was expecting to see it removed but they did not.
