UPDATED - DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO…
DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS. I was scammed through Facebook by a pets at home giveaway completely unaware until money was withdrawn from my account. After contacting this company I was advised to make the most of my subscription. I have no interest in coding whatsoever. PLEASE BE VERY WARY AS THEY DIDN’T EVEN ADDRESS THE FACT PEOPLE ARE BEING SCAMMED OFF THE BACK OF THERE COMPANY.
RE: CODEGENC REPLY BELOW, it’s funny as I did email them for a refund and I was told no I should make the use of my subscription, hence my review, As Follows:
Thank you for your email.
Since your payment has already been made we encourage you to avail the remaining days of your subscription to learn about coding since It is suited for beginners as well as for those who want to fresh up their knowledge.
Best regards,
Customer support team
I will email them again and will report back accordingly,
UPDATE BELOW: PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING.
Obviously a 2 bit company as no refund given even though a result of being scammed. Mind you looking at other people’s reviews they obviously need the money.
Posting as I don’t want them scamming anyone else.
If it was my company I wouldn’t want to be linked to scammers but clearly CodeGenc are not bothered.

I'm loving CodeGenc for online code learning. Great for beginner coders like myself, plus the flexible learning schedule really suits me.
Beware!!
Beware!!! This website is a big scam!!! I followed a link to get some cat treats and I ended up with 40 pounds taken from my bank account and a subscription which I managed to cancel, which I did not have a clue what was it. They do not reply to any emails and the website is very dodgy, so be very careful!!
I have had a chat with them on their live chat and they used that excuse with 3 days trial, but never mentioned anything about them stealing people's money.
I have been scammed like the rest of the people who complained here.
Update: They refunded my money .

I just got woken up to my bank alerting…
I just got woken up to my bank alerting me to possible fraud and it is this company taking $33 out of my account. Almost a week after I purchased a $3 shipping fee. You people should be in jail. Going over the comments here it sounds like the advent calendar on Facebook was a fraud. Absolutely nothing anywhere explaining a 3 month trial. Hundreds of comments saying it arrived for them etc. Now they are saying they sell computer programs? Absolute joke. My bank has started to go after them. And I demand a refund

Bogus survey scam
Like several others I followed a link to a survey that was supposed to provide some free dog toys with the proviso that I paid for delivery. I entered my credit card details for shipping but subsequently found a charge from this company on my statement for a coding course.Using bogus surveys is nothing short of fraud.
10/01/2025 Reported this bunch to Action Fraud
Update 15/01/2025
This company are still refusing to refund the illegally obtained subscription. Just a bunch of scammers stay well away from Codegey

Big time scam
I saw an advert on Facebook about a backpack for £3 by visiting a website. I clicked on it stupidly and the woman advertising it on her FB page had a receipt for £3. Then I got an email stating the subscription is £40 every month. I have cancelled it today and will put a stop on my card so these scums do not take any more of my hard earned money.

The price is cheap considering the value it provides. And oh! The new features, they're so innovative. I'm enjoying the advanced analytics and insights.

Recently signed up for the VIP package. It is worth every penny. The AI-powered coding exercises have surely upped my game. Would totally recommend it to aspiring coders out there.
Thank you
Thank you! I landed my dream job after finishing a few courses here.
It's beginner-friendly, and the progress tracking feature is super beneficial!
Your site is being used advertising…
Your site is being used advertising unclaimed packages from Amazon on Facebook. They are requesting a payment of 5$ and they will send you a box of items. It does say at the bottom and in dim colour that if you don’t cancel your subscription they will be billed like 50$ every ten days until you cancel. They use your address as well. I don’t know if this is actually being done by this company or not, but either way it doesn’t seem legitimate.

Lego Advent Calendars on Facebook…
I recently saw an advert on Facebook for a lego advent calendar for £3 so I stupidly applied. The comments were all quite positive but I should have realised it was all a con. I can't believe I have been so stupid. Looks like I have been signed up to some subscription service which I didn't agree to! Disgusting scumbags tried to take £40 from me yesterday but luckily it was declined due to lack of funds. This should not be allowed. They have my personal/bank details and are fraudently trying to take money from my bank account. I should have realised it was a scam when the amount kept changing and the website address was different God I feel like such an idiot! I can see that loads of people have been scammed so I'm not the only idiot!

Scammers - Ordered an advent calendar and they took 2 further payments of £41 each. No goods received and some dodgy subscription service for computer coding! Total fraud.

FRAUDULENT Company!
Followed a link to a survey and was supposed to get some pasta and some cutlery for free but had to pay for shipping. I entered my credit card info to pay for shipping and then noticed a charge from this company on my card and an account created under my email! This company engages in FRAUD!
Follow Up:
Now I appear to be asked to remove my review in order to get a refund for something I did not sign up for. I signed up to receive free pasta and paid for shipping. Nowhere during the process of signing up to get pasta was I told I was signing up for this CodeGenc company. I already emailed the company and asked for a refund. I don't feel that I should be asked to remove a review that warns people of what is happening in order to receive a refund for money that was fraudulently taken from me.
Second Follow Up
I have now received - finally - an email confirming that the membership I DID NOT ASK FOR AND PAID FOR and was fraudulently led to has been canceled and my money will be refunded - three weeks after this took place - very unreasonable!
