Took a while, but good service :)

I had to wait quite a long while for my order, but I did get it and it was perfect. Not what i originally ordered, but was offered a more expensive alternative at no extra cost. Came with a complimentary box of tea to apologise for the wait. Gina kept me updated re. my order status and was very efficient and friendly. I would use them again as I understand everyone is struggling under the current circumstances and they were very polite and friendly. Love my teapot and my tea :)

Do not do business

Do not attempt to purchase anything using this website.
We attempted to make a purchase using this website.The goods have never arrived despite E mails claiming all manner of excuses.
They will be reported to the police and trading standards.

Non existent coffee grinder for sale!

Ordered coffee grinder in August. I emailed the company on a weekly basis for updates on my order because I had not received the item. Every week excuses were made: mainly due to reduced staff because of Covid, item gone out of stock in meantime, assurances that the order would be fulfilled in next 2 to 5 working days, wait on despatch information etc etc. This has gone on for 3 months. Good communication from Gina, customer services but still no grinder! At no time did the company admit to not having the item in stock, they promised free coffee as compensation for the excessive wait. Still no delivery. I finally cancelled my order on 14 November and the refund was in my account the very next day, 15th. Were they hoping that I would give up? I think so. I ordered from another company at a comparable price and received goods within 2 days. I will never use or recommend this company again for anything after this experience! My daughter will now get this for Christmas instead of her birthday in August! Just glad I was refunded although I did say that I would take further action if refund no received within 5 working days.

SCAM: Avoid like the plague!

Avoid like the plague. I ordered 12 Bodum double-walled glasses early August. Had a flurry of emails telling me how it was all on the way but it never arrived. It was sent, and then it wasn't. And then it was, and then it wasn't. Never received a thing and it took many, many emails and eventually me threatening to report them to Trading Standards and ask my money back from the bank to finally get my refund, more than three months later. My guess is their tactics revolve around taking people's money and hoping they will go away eventually if they mess them around long enough. How I wish I had checked Trustpilot before ordering. That'll teach me.

Non-delivery of "in stock" items

I placed an order on 19 June 2021 for two "in stock" items. I heard nothing, so chased after 3 weeks. I was told that they were unexpectedly out of stock, but stock should arrive to them within 7-10 days. I chased 20 days later only to be told they have still not arrived but that they "didn't expect it to be too long".

I then completely forgot and chased again a further 2 months later. One item was due to be in stock "very shortly" and at my suggestion and request they offered an alternative on the other item. After a further few exchanges (the only way to contact them is online and they take a minimum of 2 days to reply), we agreed they would dispatch the alternative product next week and I'd wait two more weeks for the other item.

Needless to say, the alternative product was not dispatched and the other item did not come into stock and so after 2 weeks I requested a full refund of the entire order. After waiting 4 days, they finally told me they have processed a refund and the funds should be with me 5-10 working days. On working day 15 I chased. After 2 working days they replied stating that they are sorry that they currently have a backlog in refund requests, the refund is now showing as being processed and it “should arrive soon”. A suitably vague and typical response. I received my money back 17 working days after they originally said that they had issued a refund and a whole 142 days after placing the original order.

I appreciate that there are challenges in the current environment, but the poor communication and timescales are totally unacceptable. Furthermore, they clearly do not understand their stock levels or the stock levels of their suppliers as often items are listed as “in stock”. It is also extremely frustrating that you can only communicate via email, which always takes them a minimum of 2 days to reply to and they will not call you if asked (there is no contact number for them).

I would never try to do business with them again. The fact they have a backlog of refund requests suggests that many other customers are also sharing the same terrible experience

AVOID

AVOID - Trading Standards should be looking into this company.

I ordered a coffee grinder on Sept 12th, its now Nov 16th and I still have not received it even though I was getting emails to say the item was 'on it's way.' I tried emailing them over October for more information and got no response.

Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.

AVOID

Ordered an espresso machine on the 8th or November, it was due to be arriving on Monday 12th, it’s now the 16th.. with no espresso machine! I have emailed them, they seem to send a generic template email saying the product has been dispatched today! Very poor customer service, questions are NOT answered but are responded with a template.

Possibly not an actual real online store

This site appears to be a fake online store, takes money and doesn’t send the product.

My wife ordered me a Fellow coffee cup in early July. After a dozen emails requesting her money back, we always get the same reply - “bear with us, we are processing a backlog of payments”. It is now over 4 months, no product or refund.

Please. Just don't.

Breaking my Trustpilot virginity especially for these guys.
Genuinely don't know if this company is a scam or a joke or what but just don't bother...
I've had a very similar experience to most others.

Ordered a few items. Nothing got dispatched so I asked for an update. They said due to staff shortages, could I wait 2-5 days. I waited 5 days then asked for another update. They said one of the items I ordered was "unexpectedly" out of stock, so could I wait another 5-7. I waited 7 days then asked for another update. No response. I tried calling, and got through to a "gatekeeper", who took my details and said someone would contact me. No one did. Tried calling again. Same problem. Week later I got a reply saying another item from my order was now out of stock and I should wait longer.

A month after my initial order, I don't believe I will get my order any time soon so I opened a paypal claim and got a refund.

Its worth noting the customer service replies are all very polite and initially seem genuine. But just seems like generic nonsense that they say to everyone.

The worst company I have ever had the…

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

Please for the love of Pete do NOT order anything from this company. Even if the price is good please think twice and read some of the other reviews.

As the saying goes ' If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'

I just hope you are looking at this review before you have parted with any money as it will take you an awfully long time to get a refund after they have you running round in circles with all number of excuses and reasons for not sending the item you have bought.

I wish I had looked at the reviews on trust pilot before I ordered.

Terrible experience start to finish

Terrible. I ordered an item only to find out they never had it in stock to begin with. They assured me the item would be in stock within a week but nearly two weeks passed and I didn't hear back. I think demanded a refund which they said they processed but am now waiting for the refund to finally happen. It has been nearly three weeks. I send multiple emails weekly with no response.

Terrible company and customer service. Stay away if you can or else you in for an admin nightmare.

PHONE YOUR BANK

If you’re having trouble getting a dispatch date from them and they’re fully blanking you like they did me. Phone your bank and tell them you’ve been scammed by them and they’ll open a dispute against them, once I did this I got an instant temporary refund by the bank while I wait for coffee box send me my refund. CONTACT YOUR BANK!!!

Awful company

Awful company! I ordered an item weeks ago and after 2 weeks there was no sign of a dispatch email, so I contacted them only to be told the item wasn't in stock and it was being ordered in. Although it was in stock online at the point I ordered! They then said after I contacted them that the item would be with me in 3-5 days and kept offering replacement items which were nothing like the item I originally wanted (and were also cheaper!), after 5 days there was still no sign. Contacted customer service again who said a refund would be in my account in 5-10 working days, there is no reason for a refund to take this long when I paid via PayPal! They literally have to click a button saying 'refund'. It's ridiculous. I've emailed them again to say I've not had anything through to say a refund is being processed and have had no response since. I have since raised a PayPal case to get a refund that way. They are an awful, dishonest company and I won't use them again.

Very Disappointed - do not use

My order was missing two items, I've contacted customer service only to receive no response. These items weren't cheap either - I'll be using other means to obtain a refund by the looks of other reviews. Very disappointing - and the products that did arrive where all in broken damaged packaging. Definitely not as advertised that's for sure.

Bunch of crooks

They took my money, I have not received my item and they have not refunded my money after I cancelled the order a month later. Awful awful customer service, stringing me along promising my cash back, and I still haven’t received anything after a month. I have tried calling their customer services number, which is actually a general switchboard. They promised a call back from a rep from coffee box and I received nothing. How can a UK company get away with this. Very disappointed, I truly feel cheated. Do not buy from here, it’s not worth the stress. I suspect the positive reviews on here are fake.
