❤️ 3 years, going strong 💪🏻

I met my current boyfriend on CMB! ♡
I'm pretty crazy about him but he has yet to propose 💔 I'm hoping soon though, we ARE older and HAVE been together three years now so hopefully soon!
We have been through a lot together and I can't imagine my life without him anymore ♡ a lot of people are saying CMB is a scam? Idk, maybe I just got lucky! Or maybe it really does work ♡♡♡ may the odds be in your favor 😉

You have to pay to contact the women. You don't have to pay to give someone a bean

I don't mind paying for a dating service when it's worth it (like AFFsexy.com
as as example, when they do their job, verify profiles, ask for IDs, match you with people according to your search criteria, etc). But CoffeeMeetsBagel does nothing like that. It's totally overloaded with different types of fraudsters. I have seen some of them on the other platforms and they have been kicked out from there. I tried to report scammers to CoffeeMeetsBagel support team, but my reports were ignored. Nothing is done to prevent scam. Nothing is down to kick out dodgy users in order to make real users satisfied. This is a completely wrong approach. As a result, the service is totally not worth the cost.

This app is dead but they keep notifying you anyway with nonsense messages

This app is dead. They're so desperate for money grabbing that they pummel you with notifications daily about garbage. They lie by telling you that a bagel is into you when you go to the app and no one's there. They try to trick you into buying a subscription if you just so happen to be mashing the like button on all your matches.

What was once an innocent appearing app made by Korean sisters now feels like another scambait of an app.

I suspected a fake profile based on…

I suspected a fake profile based on what appeared to be stock-style photos and scripted messaging. To verify, I asked two reasonable questions tied directly to the profile: why Singapore was on their bucket list, and whether they worked as an anesthesiologist in an inpatient or outpatient setting.

Immediately after asking those questions, my account was reported for violating community standards and restricted.

I paid just over $49 for a subscription and have been unable to reach any customer support or obtain a refund despite multiple attempts. There appears to be no meaningful appeals or customer service process.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this platform.

This app is a joke! I pay for a premium subscription and, if I'm lucky, I might get 1 bagel (match) a day (this is actually day 2 of no matches)! I even broadened my preferences as suggested by customer service, and still nothing! Do yourself a favor and find a different app, especially if you plan on paying for it!

I signed up for the monthly subscription at 32 dollars a month to pay monthly. They legit charged me 82 dollars and it is impossible to get ahold of a human being, chat bots suck. AI is awful.

There are too many restrictions on who you can connect to. You have to pay a fortune to connect to just three or four women

Chances are high that you would pay to connect to scammers, because that is what the majority of accounts are. I tried JLFlirt.com
following my friend's recommendation. I like it a lot more than Coffee MeetsBagel. In fact there is no comparison. Not only is CMB outrageous expensive, but you can't find any quality there. They don't really monitor the authenticity of profiles. They don't care who you connect to. They aim at getting your money, the more the better. The faster the better. So they try to rip you off as soon as they can, preferably before you spot the plot.

Coffee Meets Bagel : absolute scam !

Coffee Meets Bagel : absolute scam !

They run advertising campaigns with highly questionable people. I once met one of their brand ambassadors by chance, and it turned out she was completely fake, insincere, and manipulative. And wouldn't you know it, she works for this site. Don't waste your time with this scam where you'll only find only golden flowers and fake profiles. They're only there to take your money.

No people in my area - Amsterdam and 80 kilometers around

Coffee Meets Bagel claims I will receive a new batch of 'Bagels' (potential matches) every day at noon.
But every day at 12, the clock just resets at 24.00 hrs to wait before a new batch of bagels will be shown.

In other words: nobody there.
I had my preferences on 'every ethnicity, between 30 and 55 within 80 kilometres' so that is not exactly looking for a needle in a haystack.

I am in Amsterdam, not in the desert. If I change my preference to '400 kilometres' i get bagels at 12.00 - in London. So I guess this app is better for People in the UK.

Yet the app is sending push notifications that 'new bagels are available', every so often. No bagels appear, ever. They also push me to get a paid subscription, to get 'double the amount of suggestions' - well, I did the math on this one.

they are hard to reach. I wrote a message on instagram to which I got an answer: try to reach through the site. Yes I did, but there is a bot making my blood boil and no person to talk with.

I replied to mail they sent me: no answer.
Bad, bad bad.

Worst app ever

Worst app ever! Do not waste your money. They promise you suggestions daily at noon, do not deliver, and claim you search is too narrow.

They're continually spamming me after unsubscribing

I’ve been happily married for over 45 years and I never signed up for this app. Somehow they got my email address and are sending me constant emails, addressing me by names that do not belong to me. I’ve clicked on the unsubscribe link multiple times but I keep getting their emails. It’s obviously a very scammy site.

The app doesnt function as described

I’m an Australian user who was using the free version of the app.

This app does not function as described. Even free users can set preferences for suggested bagels, with the option for some of them to be dealbreakers. After having the app for two days I was almost only given suggested bagels (matches) that were outside my preferences.

I raised an issue with customer service and was required to provide evidence of the issue twice. Only then did they disclose it can take UP TO TWO DAYS for your preferences to update. Nowhere in its FAQs or troubleshooting pages is this disclosed. I believe this is intentional as every other app does this instantly.

After 4 days of the same deal breaker preferences I was still not shown suggested bagels within them. I have deleted the app and suggest you don’t waste your time.

I believe the app is aware of the functionality, misleads people in its marketing and isn’t transparent with users.

This site is a total rip-off!!

This site is a total rip-off!!! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE OR WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! I submitted a cancelation within 24 hours of signing up with the free trial and they are not processing my refund!
My filters were not respected. Almost all of the women I was sent profiles of were not within the ethic group I chose and they were virtually all homely and/or obese etc.
I even emailed screenshot to their customer service when they requested proof and then I heard nothing back regarding my refund request!

This is the worst app ever and I regret wasting my money on this stupid app. On top of everything else they don't give you a refund if you cancel your membership within the same day. I do not recommend this app to anyone whatsoever. Just a waste of time period.
