They take a massive commission, something like 16-20%. Also due to KYC if you subsequently send BTC to an address on a government watchlist, Coinflip cancels your account with no explanation. Better to buy off someone in Kenya.

Longtime ATM user to purchase crypto. Simple and immediate transactions. Follow their socials for discount codes and you can get reasonable savings. The new wallet app is simple and functional.

I visited a coinflip BTC ATM for the first time and was astounded at the fees.

I deposited $1000 AUD and received $900 worth of coin, they say they charge no fees but the price is so inflated it works to be 10%.
Find another way, this is a complete rip off.

I've been dabbling in crypto for a couple years now. I typically buy on an exchange, but was looking to do a much larger amount and didn't feel comfortable doing that digitally. Found CoinFlip's OTC desk through a Google search and ended up giving them a call. Registration/Onboarding was quick. Their site is pretty clean and straight forward. The real difference was my call with Mike P.!

Mike was an encyclopedia. He was willing to not only get me registered, but help guide me through the setup of a wallet. Luckily, already have one as I'm firm self-custody. We ended up chatting for well over 30 minutes about different assets, market updates, fundamentals of Bitcoin, etc. At the end of it, was registered and got my wire in. I paid a touch more than the exchange, but the service was simply unmatched. Can't call Coinbase and get this service.

Only rating them 4 out of 5 because I really wish they had Solana and also some better self-directed options, but sounds like they might have a platform coming soon. Regardless, they'll be getting a lot more business from me.

I brought usdt lt said 2 mins to send two my wallet, I send it now it says 5 mins to 30 mins maybe a couple of hours. 45 mins later nothing

They always have charged high fees, but recently I went to send the max allowed in my wallet, which at the time said $46.81. Only $12.70 was sent to my recipient. They charged a $34 network fee. I’m hoping they reimburse me plus more.

I was hesitant about using the ATM and called customer service, I got Gino's, so helpful, answered all my questions about the percentage rates,and went beyond what I asked and sent me links the the address that I had ask about, you don't get good customer service like that anymore, I was very impressed!

Coin flip launches Olliv, all the 5 star reviews are fake, after purchasing crypto, they are stuck in the wallet, unable to make any type of transactions. Support doesn’t do anything, it’s been 2 weeks now no reply from support. Beware of this

What a horrible experience I was trying to send bitcoin to a friend. I was having trouble with the machine so I called their customer service. They were rude unhelpful. And now they banned me from using their machines. I couldn’t believe that they would do this. It’s none of their business why I was sending the Bitcoin. I answered all the questions and the guy on the other end said he couldn’t help me. I asked for a supervisor and he was worse. Do not use these machines. There are plenty websites that you can use.

I've been using coin flip for a couple years. They are very convenient and the customer service was very good. Today I get a text message from them saying they're closing my account. I typically would just put cash in the machine and transfer the funds to my Exodus account which is my main account I use for digital investing. I use coin flip so often that they actually gave me a small discount on their fees. So this was truly a strange text message. I called coin flip to ask why the account was closed. But for some reason they say they can't give me the reason why , nor do they have the information. They told me to to read their terms and conditions which I did but I don't see where I did anything wrong and they won't provide any information. I spoke with the manager about it and he said the same thing. This is very unusual from a company. If I did something wrong you would think that they would provide information but they absolutely provide nothing . This actually can be very dangerous because if you create an account with coin flip to store funds they can actually close your account and your funds are lost. you will not get them back. I do not use them for a wallet so I did not have this problem when they closed my account But because they are not willing to even discuss the problem with me I have to give him a low rating and I'm very suspicious of this recent activity as a company. I would be very very careful. Strange decisions in closing an account who is a regular customer are red flags. Sometimes it is an indicator that the company is about to go under

I've never ever had problems with calling them. If you sit and listen and don't try to talk over them you'll get your explanation. Just be patient. If you have sent it to the wrong address or to a scammer there's nothing they can do... Good system and cheaper
