I was a first time investor and I could…
I was a first time investor and I could not fault my financial advisor, he asked me to trust him and i did. He made me a lit of money but when I went to withdraw it i was informed that I would have to put up the same amount as i was withdrawing before i could get the money. When i explained that I had no more money i was told to borrow it for 30 minutes. In the real world of working class people we don't have x amount of thousands in my account. I was told that if I didn't pay then my money was gone to the government to be destroyed. I am a widow and needed that money to pay for the funeral. I was encouraged to take a loan out to invest in order to make me a good return, the company said that they would cover the loan and today I fund out that this will only happen when the account is liquidated. If i had been informed of all this I would not have taken out the loan and just used my initial deposit. Please ensure you have all the facts before you invest. A very sad and disillusioned silly wiman
