If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would , left me without heating and hot water for 8 weeks as sub contractors of valleys to coast with 3 young children in my home. Apparently they needed to order new plates for my boiler but then 2 weeks later told me they forgot to order them that was 5 weeks ago and I haven't seen anyone since but they expect me to wait in all day tomorrow for an annual service. Absolute joke of a company

Been Trying to get MCS certificates off…

Been Trying to get MCS certificates off them because they never give them when the solar panels were installed just fob you off all the time saying their switching over to a new system and will send the documents when it's finished even had the company who keep a register of installed solar panels have phoned them and emailed and they say will send them out still nothing think I know why they don't give them because they cost £36.

The day before Xmas Eve our central…Xmas Saved.

The day before Xmas Eve our central heating system began tripping the house electrics. I have a breakdown policy with the Laver Group so contacted the Saturday out of hours service. The response was immediate. Over the next 2 days two engineers Daryl and Mike attended, and between them they resolved the problem.
I also spoke to a third person on the telephone during the 2 days.
I cannot speak highly enough about all three. They were extremely professional and showed real concern that we were not left in the lurch over Xmas.
A wonderful service which I highly recommend.

Hope nothing goes wrong…

Hope nothing goes wrong if this company installs solar panels for you. The installation went fine but it stopped working after 18 months. Trying to get it fixed has been a nightmare!

They rarely answer the phone, will make endless excuses before arranging a visit, then not bother turning up or even telling you they aren't coming. Twice! Still waiting for a repair after 4 months and no closer to a solution. Avoid this company!

Supposed to be fitting solar panels to…

Supposed to be fitting solar panels to our house. They have cancelled several times with various excuses. Had scaffolding up outside the house for 6 weeks !!!! and still no sign of a confirmed date. No apology or communication. Should have come today and not even turned up ....again! Terrible service and communication. Do not trust anything they say now. I have booked holiday from work for each occasion they say they are coming and wasted it as they don't come. Still waiting.................?

PV System Install

Had my PV System installed yesterday by Laver Group on behalf of Eon. The guys that did it were excellent - D and N.
Professional, polite, tolerant of my wishes and questions and considerate of my observation. Thank you.

Would have given 0 stars for effort if…

Would have given 0 stars for effort if there was an option. They turned up in December 2022 to do an agreed 3 day job installing a solar kit. It's now March 2023 and it's still not finished with no agreed date as yet to complete the work. Excuse after excuse. Cancelled on me 3 times up to now. Eons solar energy partner? Unreliable at best.

As a Sub Contractor of E.on

As a Sub Contractor of E.on - they would have had my install date for Solar in advance, but a week before the installation I was contacted to say that the scaffolding company they wanted to use would need a structural engineer to design a structure to go over a conservatory and that this would take 4-6 weeks, not sure why as I had scaffolding erected in the exact same place only a month before when I replaced the roof membrane and the scaffolding company I used worked around it with with ease.

So far the communication has been very poor and I've had to chase numerous times and never given a straight answer back, clearly not customer focused

Has to be the worst/unprofessional …

Has to be the worst/unprofessional heating repair company ever. Engineer called to our home and refused to wear a face covering as he claimed to be exempt. I asked to see his lanyard to be sure and he claimed that I had refused him entry and walked away. Easy money if you don’t want to do anything .

Rude engineers

Rude engineers. They install a new boiler for me . Left all the lights on even though it was sunny and bright. I turned the light off 3 times they turned it on again even though rooms where not the one they were working in . used the toilet without asking while the water was off , so didn’t flush it .
Later that day I found out that they charged their own tools in my house .
Left all the rubbish outside my house but they were so quick to take the old boiler and radiator
Reported it to their office , a manager supposed to get back to me which they never did.

Parking in a disabled bay.

This company is so shocking a driver from this firm was parked in a disabled bay today and when asked why he parked their he replied I can park anywhere I want and can abusive swearing and shouting after i pointed to 2 parking space empty about 15 feet away. This worker should no be working in a customer based business.

Came to carry out my annual service a few weeks back,knowing we in a worldwide pandemic the engineers had no PPE on at all plus the 1 coughed which I wernt very happy with..
Sent a email on the day to make a formal complaint and still no response..
Absolutely shocking company to be honest..

Shockingly poor

Shockingly poor! Having been sub-contracted by EOn to replace my faulty boiler, it needed five visits (the final one from EOn themselves) for a fully functioning unit to be installed. The original installation was completely wrong leaving water leaking into a wall cavity staining the lower ceiling. The second attempt left a faulty condensing pump, which caused the boiler to cut out completely. The third attempt left this same problem, and the forth attempt left water leaking out of the bottom of the boiler onto the floor, the condensing pipe having not been connected properly DESPITE both the engineer and his manager arguing that everything was fine. This company should not be let anywhere near your home, let alone your boiler. They do not care that their customers are left without heating or hot water in January.

4 hours to fit an energy meter

4 hours to fit an energy meter. Guy had no idea what he was doing and kept calling someone. Swore with F@@@ knows when I asked him why it had taken so long.

Prompt and professional service.

We needed to service our gas log burner and decided to use the services of Colin Laver Heating. We were very impressed with the prompt and professional response we received and were extremely happy with the work that was completed.
We would have no problem recommending their services to others and will definitely be using them again.
