As a coliving manager, I have to say that Coliving.com is a reference in the coliving world.
They are very professional and the booking is easy to take in hand.
The commission is also very large for the owner and it is impossible to announce an all-inclusive price at the risk of also being charged from the taxes collected.

I have asked for a refund of my deposit several times but have not received anything yet. In our what’s app group it appears that this is a problem for many people. We are already working with a lawyer. In short, be warned!

Excellent work by the entire Coliving.com team for helping us find a nice place to live in Montreal for our son. Their tasks were not easy because of the mutual difficulty we had with the host to understand each other about the administrative and financial part.

Coliving.com allows discrimination
Coliving.com allows discrimination by their properties who are free to exclude people who don't fit particular demographic categories. I wrote to their headquarters about my experience being discriminated against and they supported the property's right to discriminate.
I see from their reply that they claim they don't tolerate discrimination of any kind, but when I reached out to them they said that properties were allowed to discriminate to create a desired "climate". I was not judged on my particular/individual fit with any desired climate but excluded based on my demographic category alone. This is the very definition of discrimination

Incorrect representation of FREE30 on cancellations
They do NOT offer a 30-day FREE cancellation, instead it's a percentage fee on your booking. Fees aren't super clear so make sure you're well aware of the percentage fee you'll be charged BEFORE your booking is confirmed. Customer service isn't super forthcoming with what the fee is when you do contact them either. When you press them for what this fee is they'll disclose how much they penalise you if your plans change. So, be sure to check Section 9 (at the time of writing this review) of the T&Cs and section before you book.

Co-living.com Has Your Back
I had a problem with the local property management/owner in Medellin, Columbia. The owner had made a mistake on their listing. Since I booked via Coliving.com I was protected. Coliving.com recognized the error and held payment to the owner until the issue was resolved. In addition, Coliving.com advocated on my behalf.
Going forward, I will continue to use Coliving.com for my digital nomad lifestyle. I also highly recommend them to others. You can rest easy when booking a month or more in a city/country that is new to you.
