Absolute scam! Went through 2 different sales call in which I was told I would get 1-1 support and their mission is going to help me get 20
Online clients.

I have done a mentorship before, which got me fully booked with face to face PT. This was exceptionally well supported, with WEEKLY structured calls, daily support and also a very engaged and helpful Facebook group. This was £445 a month - still not a small number but definately felt my money was well spent and I made it back in the first week.

On the other hand, ‘fitness business uni’ or collective coaching has been absolutely awful. As someone else said, it’s a cookie cutter course with barely any support. The support coach I got felt like I was just another number and was just giving absolute generic advice that I could have got from YouTube 😂

The weekly coaching calls with Lacey consistent of ‘so what do you guys wanna talk about’ and lasted about 5 mins. No structure or effort at all. The Facebook group has radio silence, and posts need to be approved first which tells me if anyone dares so say anything bad or critique them it won’t be posted.

I haven’t made ANY money back from this Fitness Business Uni course for which I paid £2800 for.. (I should also mention they make you pay this back in 3 months- £1k off the bat then £900 a month for two months)

I worked in sales for the company. In May, I had a record month in sales. The next month, the company changed the commission structure, reducing it by 5% and altering the payment schedule to quarterly, along with removing bonuses, despite our initial agreement of 10% monthly with bonuses.

Following this, I received feedback regarding a drop in close rates. This feedback was given publicly without actionable advice and not in a private setting.

Additionally, there were issues with leadership, timely payments, and meetings starting late. When I left, my invoice was modified to remove previously agreed-upon bonus payments, leading to delays in my final payment. I was eventually paid 26 days into the following month after continuous follow-up.

Around the same time, three other staff members also left due to similar treatment.

In my opinion, the company lacked integrity and values, affecting both employees and potentially clients.

I've had the misfortune of knowing Ste McGrath for a long time, he's a scammer and can't be trusted. He's been conning people of their money and time in the fitness space for a long time (which has happened to myself). Watch as he'll shut Collective Coaching down and rebrand as Fitness Business University or some other name. Take a look at Companies House, why would any successful business have to go through multiple closures/openings? Sounds a bit suspect.

I joined this course end of December last year, excited to go after reading such good things about this course and seeing all the results they were posting. But it’s very overpriced (at £4500 or £6000 if you pay in instalments) for what it is, not the level of 1:1 support that it was played up to be in my sales call I attended, and within the first month I had one of the coaches actually laugh at one of my questions, making me feel these coaches were not approachable or kind people.

In my sales call before I joined the course I explained I had a full time job that overlapped with the zoom live events and was told I did not need to attend them to improve my skills, but it was practically the only way to improve content, sales and lead gen skills as my 1:1 coach did not specialise in this. When I asked the specialist coaches questions there were numerous occasions where I didn’t even get a response, when my 1:1 had specifically told me to ask my questions to certain coaches, who then didn’t reply to me.

I stayed on this course for 3 months, half of the course, but I got fed up with my 1:1 coach repeatedly asking me what my niche and audience were because he “had forgotten”, and for a £4500 course I expected a much higher level from the coaches, remembering your client’s niche is an absolute minimum. I felt very much like a number rather than someone they wanted to help, and took the time to help.

And one last thing- 3 of the 12 existing reviews on here are from coaching staff working for this company. If that doesn’t scream fake review I don’t know what does.

Stay away from this course, invest your money into someone who will actually help you.

Beware this company! Their website was a glossy front page but none of the links worked. Their coaching techniques, involving a fast talking sales pitch to hook in clients, seems morally reprehensible to me. This is also their technique to get you to pay them a lot of money for their course. Please don't waste your money

Cant recommend Ste/Collective Coaching enough! After having a horrendous experience with another coaching programme (Adam Hayley/OTE) I feel like all my prayers have been answered!

I’m on the CEO programme and they’ve literally pulled apart every part of my business and helped me fine tune it all so everything works more effectively and efficiently.

If you’re looking for a mentorship that gives you 1-1 support, rather than just a vast amount of information with no direction, choosing collective coaching is honestly a no brainer.

Working with Collective Coaching has been life changing. I feel like any description of the experience will do it a disservice but I’ll give it a go.

When you join you’re not just working with Ste you’re working with a team of people that want to help you succeed. This allows you to put your focus in the areas you need to get better at to build a successful business.

Awful at least generation, you have Shannon, can’t write content to save your life, you have Sue, always fumble on the close on sales calls, you have Vicky.

What’s great is this is not purely focused on getting you hitting those big revenue numbers, which you will fast, but also delivering a top quality coaching service that means you’ll attract the clients you can get the most out of.

Allowing you to really get a sense of fulfilment in what you’re doing and help the most people.

There’s also a very active Facebook where all the coaches in the mentorship can bounce ideas of each other. It works really well for brainstorming and building on ideas, whether it’s for launches or help with client issues.

I’ve gone from doing “ok” as a PT, always wondering where my next lead was coming from and no online service to having a thriving business that allows me to go on holiday whenever I want, bring in consistently higher revenue each month and feel great about the impact I’m having on my clients.

If you’re wanting to create a business that you can be proud of then there’s no mentoring programmes available like this.

I initially signed up with the Collective Coaching because I felt stuck with my business.

My clientele was too diverse and for that my systems were messy, I was undercharging and I was too busy juggling everything (I was also working as a pt at the time) to be able to progress further.

Ste’s help was invaluable to be able to establish my niche and create better systems, so that I could serve my clients more efficiently and scale with my business.

I now charge more than double what I used to, I have triple the amount of clients and earn 5 times more what I used to… it’s actually mad if I think about it!

All of that in 8 months.

The collective coaching literally covers any aspect of business you might struggle with and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking to start out, scale or make an impact in the coaching industry.

Investing in your own business is always a good decision and signing up to Ste’s programme was one of the best I’ve ever made in my life.

Been working with Ste and his team for the last 5 weeks and my business has progressed more than it had in my first 10 months.

I now have a clear plan of what I need to do each week to progress the business.

Not only is it helping me understand how to run a better business, the help I’m receiving on becoming a better coach is great!

Didn’t think 5 weeks in I would have taken on 5 new clients, it’s given me the belief that I can really build the business a lot quicker that I originally thought.

Best decision I’ve made working with Ste!

I got to the end of last year feeling stuck with my coaching business. I have built it up over the year all by myself and didn’t know how to take the next steps. I waved goodbye to my steady 50k salary to pursue my passion of coaching people! Risky move but with Ste guiding me I have no doubts!

Working with Ste has been my best investment to date.

I was apprehensive to begin after working with multiple after business mentors but I have been with Ste for the last 18 months and he has taken my business above and beyond expectations.

I can’t recommend the Collective Coaching programme enough. I’d been “coaching” friends and family for a while and knew I wanted to turn it into a business but didn’t really know how. I’m now running a successful business that I LOVE, which also enables me to live a more-than comfortable life. The guidance and support is second to none, and the live events really add something special to it.

Without a question, this has to be one of my proudest investments to date and it’s something that’s only paying back 10 folds and will continue to do so for the years to come
