🚫 A Warning to Potential Come&Stay Customers: Extreme Negligence and Dishonesty 🚫

I am writing this, having never felt compelled to leave a negative review before. However, my experience with Come&Stay, alongside my partner, has been nothing short of a nightmare, demanding public awareness.

Firstly, a grave security breach: Come&Stay irresponsibly posted videos on YouTube detailing how to access not only our apartment but also all others they manage. These videos included the specific address, key box location, code to open the key box, and directions for how to enter the exact apartment —essentially an open invitation to potential burglars. This isn't "an isolated incident caused by an error in our internal communication" as they claim below but a gross violation of privacy and security. I have recorded these videos as evidence of their recklessness.

Their incompetence extends beyond this. They failed to honor their financial commitments, and ignored our emails for clarification. It's clear from my observation and involvement that their operational management is a facade of professionalism, riddled with errors, including those that led to the exposure of our home's security.

On top cleaning standards were abysmally low (as others have pointed out), contributing to further discomfort and dissatisfaction. Instances of double booking, miscommunication with guests, and handling bookings with utter carelessness were the norms, not exceptions. We even had to accommodate a guest in a hotel due to their scheduling blunder.

What's more distressing and drives me to writing this review, is their deceptive practice of manipulating online reviews. I was taken aback by the sudden influx of extremely positive reviews in a very short period of time, especially considering that all previous reviews were overwhelmingly negative. A quick investigation on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook revealed that all positive reviews were from the founders' personal connections, not genuine customers. This already becomes evidenced by matching names (e.g. one of the founders last name matches two of the reviews) and social links, which I have also documented with screenshots. For me, this is just further proof of how unprofessionally they run their business.

In summary, my experience with Come&Stay, particularly with its two founders, has been terrible. Their unprofessional conduct, negligence in security matters, financial dishonesty, and manipulation of public perception are not only unethical but potentially illegal.

I urge potential customers to exercise caution and consider other, more reputable services for their rental needs. The lack of responsibility, professionalism, and basic ethics displayed by Come&Stay is alarming and unacceptable.

Awful experience

Awful experience! Avoid them at all cost.
Note that the positive reviews as well as their response to criticisms were all posted recently. It is very likely that they are not genuine customers of their business but friends and family (two reviewers have the same last name as the founder--one is his mother). These guys are compulsive liars and not to be trusted. In their response to a review they said their publicly posting the code to the keybox was just a momentary glitch in their system. But I have video proof that it was up for a month! They also did this for all the other properties they were 'managing' as well.

I am writing this further comment in response to the company's comment: I want to make very clear that their business does not have a single positive review (all reviews are only one star) before the beginning of 2024. The recent positive reviews (all 5 star stars) are done by the owner's friends and family, which is against the guidelines (they can be seen on their Facebook friend list). I would encourage the owners to stop this blatant manipulation of reviews and public lying. I have also not encouraged any other bad reviews aside from my own. The awful reviews of your service (which are the only real reviews of your business) are entirely your own making. Rather than focusing your efforts on cheating the review system, try to run your business competently, ethically, and transparently. I can see that yet another customer just wrote a review describing their awful experience with your business.

⚠️ DO NOT TRUST COME & STAY!

⚠️ THE MOST AWFUL EXPERIENCE! ⚠️

After having rented out my apartment with Come&Stay for 6 weeks, I can only warn everyone about their sloppy, unprofessional and unethical way of running their “business”.

In short, I only experienced careless and incompetent behavior, an arrogant attitude and false promises. For example, the double booking of the apartment, miscommunication with the guests that led to the loss of bookings and extra costs for myself, sloppy to no cleaning as well as the illegally posting of how to get the key for my apartment (including passcode and address) on YouTube. To top it off, they still owe me 1500 dkk and won't respond to my emails asking for clarification why they won't paid.

I can also see from another guest review that they were moved to another apartment because they were told the one they booked was 'sold'. Come&Stay are compulsive liars: the apartment booked was mine and I fired Come&Stay because of the above mentioned issues. But Come&Stay kept my apartment listed for booking anyway to bring in potential guests, which they then moved to other apartments! They are as dishonest as it gets.

Regarding the outstanding payment and lack of response to your emails: We had extensive email correspondence, and you have been fully paid. Therefore, we do not believe this information is accurate.

As for the claim of dishonestly listing your apartment after termination of our service: We assure you this is not correct. We had to rebook future guests due to the termination, which is standard procedure and not dishonest.
