Need emotional support companion dog

I would love to try this! I have a new 1 yr.old boxer mix from a shelter. She growls at my husband and any man in general. I think where she was adopted out b-4 the ladies drug addicted son perhaps done something to this precious soul. I am wanting to have her as my emotional support companion as I have severe fybromyalgia and have had a 3 level lower back fusion and a 5 level neck fusion and am in generally a great deal of pain which in turn causes depression. I know she would be a great dog in training for this position if I had some help in training her. I know Companion K9 could help me with this
