Excellent service from Jason throughout. We had problems with the supplier but he kept us informed at all times. His work was excellent and cannot recommend him strongly enough. He was clean, tidy and the standard of work was of the highest quality.

Jason was just the person we needed to supply and fit new outside doors, he kept us informed of delivery and install dates. Our house does not have any straight walls but he made a brilliant job fitting them making a great statement to the house. I liked that Jason did not rush just to fit, but spent time making the fit just right, supplied a great maintenance kit, and explained how to get years of use from them.

The experience with Composite Doors Scunthorpe LTD has been excellent from start to finish. The on line site has a programme that means you can go different choices, colours, glass and fittings to see what it would look like. The timescales for fitting her correct and was actually fitted a week early. The fitting took longer than expected not due to issues with the door or frame but the original builders ability to make anything in my house straight. All surfaces were protected during fitting and cleaned afterwards with the old door taken away. I would definitely recommend

Care and attention to detail is what he is about, he delivered workmanship of the highest order, and we are thrilled with both the doors that he fitted.

Sadly our experience was not as good as we had hoped or expected and I really didn’t want to resort to a less than favourable review but felt that I have to raise some important points and concerns that we had and still have. Having had an issue with the original ordering of the door and more importantly the frame (wrong colour frame was inputted on the order form that was not in our original plan's, quotes or was asked for) it took over 3 months for the door to be fitted. Issues ranged from bookings being cancelled reinstated and cancelled again and when pressed for a date eventually it was installed undercover (apparently due to inclement weather again! ) only when it was fitted with a somewhat grand reveal at the end did we realise it was not what we had asked for in our original request and highlighted this to Jason the same day. That’s when we really encountered a rather less than adequate and downright poor customer service, message’s not answered, emails ignored and no real resolution other than to accept the door as it is ( our choice in the end ) rather than having it re sprayed at our expense and inconvenience. We are still awaiting a receipt of monies we paid as a proportion of what we felt in the end was the service we received. The only silver lining to it all is that Jason’s workmanship is very good and it was fitted well, shame that he let himself down on the customer service this time and his lack of transparency which was both costly for him and for us.

As we are unable to the reply directly underneath the response from Composite doors Scunthorpe ltd, we feel compelled to do so in light of the wording and implications, however, we are also very aware not to open a continuing dialogue. Whilst we do appreciate there are two sides to the story, we must be aware of rounded truths in so much that some of the details out lined in the response from Composite doors Scunthorpe are as such, rounded truths, and have been very much written without blame to them self. Whilst we acknowledged and appreciated it was a difficult time for this business due to bereavement we very much gave allowances for this as he well knows. Our grievance is not with the timeline although this did somewhat became an issue as was detailed in frequent unresponsive messages, but the mistake that was initially made between both parties. We still have the original requests and we still have the original quotes all with the frame colour that was originally asked for which was white, the fact it was inputted incorrectly by the business has continually not been acknowledged and the after sales as outlined has been unsatisfactory ever since. Yes we paid a proportion of what we felt was appropriate and if Composite doors Scunthorpe felt it was unjust then they should have taken up the offer to have a face to face civilised conversation to produce a satisfactory outcome in the days that followed rather than passing the issue to another company who we are still waiting for them to come and fix the problem.
It is of course for everyone to make a decision on what service they should use and for that, like we outlined previously the workmanship was never in question just the customer after sales if something goes wrong and it is that, that requires reflection.

We commissioned J to replace our doors, windows, fascias and soffits. Despite numerous door and window design iterations from ourselves, J was very approachable, incredibly patient, extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout, in guiding us through the myriad of options available to us. This then had to be delivered by J.

Fear not. I thought my attention to detail and OCD was right up there, but J took this to another level. No fuss, no hassle, no mess, he just got on with the job at hand, to an impeccable standard of workmanship. Polite from start to finish.

We are thoroughly delighted with the end result, the appearance of our property has been transformed.

Quality doors, hardware and fitting all to excellent standards at affordable prices. J gives his own professional advice also accommodating customers interests & preferences too.
J provided pictures & videos of a variety of door styles & colours superimposed onto a photo of our own existing doors giving us an idea of what the new door may look like. We found this most helpful in making our final choice of door style & colour etc.

Jason was brilliant from start to finish in the installation of our composite door.He helped us make the right choice of door, colour and furniture, he went to great lengths to rectify the poor workmanship of the previous companies work which had resulted in ruining part of the parquet floor due to not being sealed properly. Jason’s attention to detail was first class and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone requiring his services. From initial contact to job completion I highly recommend Jason at composite doors. First of all he answered all my awkward questions via email regarding door specs, gave us the most competitive quote with additional work for internal trims included. Door fitted is absolutely perfect and all sealing etc. too. He doesn’t rush the job and is a proper experienced tradesman.
