I absolutely hate this system. My WRX is a 6 speed so I had went compustar to have a remote start. I had to go to a compustar PRO dealer to get it done as Best Buy said it can’t be done. Well, 1100 do... See more

It’s a step up from what I had but I would prefer a smaller thinner hand remote.

I had the 1900S System installed locally and for the most part, it works well.
On one occasion, my Car would not start from a direct line of sight. I think this had to do with my Company's front door setup ? The doors are double and tinted at the employee entrance. But it is direct line of sight and only 600 ft. So well within range of 3000 ft for this remote system. I did not want to leave a review yet because we get plenty of snow here in the Northeast and that is where I am going to need it to work the most. My review is not complete though because it has not snowed yet. So I'll come back and leave another review.
Works very well!
Purchased Compustar/Drone
Purchased Compustar/Drone - late June 2022. October 6, 2022 - FIFTH time we have had the truck brought in. Issue 1 - alarm has stopped working three times; Issue 2 - Drone stopped working and took them FIVE days to let me know that we had to hard start the Drone. Then the Drone took out all the fabs and the alarm. It has been one issue after another. If I have to take it in one more time - will have it all pulled and I will get a refund. Not happy. Gave it three stars because in 90 days - it has worked well for about half the time so far. I have lowered expectations these days.
Compustar 4905S Great product!
I had done fairly extensive research into the the Compustar remote starter for my vehicle. I went ahead and purchased the product. Ryan at Best Buy/ Geek Squad did the install with the utmost of knowledge and professionalism. The product works perfectly and with the feature function it offers beyond my expectations. I highly recommend the Compustar product.
Remote start
The remote start and drone mobile is awesome on my 2022 Honda pilot touring
So far I'm satisfied with the alarm
So far I'm satisfied with the alarm. More importantly the customer service at shop was excellent and would recommend to others.
I've had nothing but excellent things to say
I've had nothing but excellent things to say about this system. My remote just recently took a crap & I called support & they had a brand new one in no time. I love companies who have excellent customer service when it comes to making things right. The product itself is amazing & the best system there is.There are so many options & upgrades. I'm not being told to say this in any fashion. Real talk, it's impossible to not be completely satisfied with this product.
I did not use it yet.
Nice job professional work 👍
I have had a couple issues
I have had a couple issues, but everything is working out. The factory installed alarm and the T12 have not been working well together. I think I have worked out the kinks. Great product when it works.
Two calls, both great service!!
I've called twice and received quick and great service. Really like these folks. Best customer service experience ever. And a particular applause for technical people being generous and patient... it's a rare thing.

Love it works very well getting ready to do my other car
Good, could be better with some updates
I have the Compustar alarm with Drone mobile. I have had it about 3 weeks. Installer did a fantastic job. I like the alarm system but there is one notable glitch. I have the T13 remote with Proximity Unlock (enabled) so the doors unlock and alarm is disabled when you approach the car. Love that feature. The system also has Passive Arming which automatically locks the doors after a set time after the vehicle is turned off. Both great features but they create an endless loop of locking/unlocking and chirping the horn if you sit inside your car. These two features don’t work together. Imagine going to a Drive-In movie and your doors lock and unlock over and over and the horn chirping each time! CompuStar support acknowledges the issue but won’t offer any resolution. Secondly, the shock sensor is super sensitive. That’s great and you want it to be sensitive, but thunder sets it off. In another case after I parked, the shock sensor started triggering alerts as I walked away with nothing around the car. On the Drone Mobile phone app and T13 remote menu options, there is no way to adjust sensitivity other than turning the shock sensor off. (Which I’ve had to do to keep from annoying everyone with false positives which cancels the protection). Would I have this installed again? Yes, even with the shortcomings, it provides me with a feeling of having protection.
T13 Pro not what I expected
I bought the T13 Pro thinking that the features that were advertised, (Proximity lock, Drive lock & Auto lock) in addition to the remote start & alarm would be included and work. None of the features work other than the remote start & alarm, which could have been purchased as a different bundle at a much lower price. Compustar says the additional features only work with “compatible” vehicles. I have a newer model 5th Gen 4Runner, which from what I now understand is not compatible. I basically paid a lot of extra money just for the LCD remote.

Paid out the door over 1k for the system. The installer said the auto-lock feature didn't work. I emailed Compustar support asking if this was a known issue or an inept installer. The reply I got was to talk to the installer.
Nice update to my 11 year old truck
When Onstar notified me that after December 2022, they'd no longer support my 2011 Chevy Silverado (that is in outstanding condition with low miles) I canceled my membership and looked for a viable alternative. While Compustar doesn't offer automated collision service and support, everything else I really needed is provided. So far, I'm really happy with my choice after 1 month. The DroneMoble app is very helpful as well.
I think the remote is defective
I think the remote is defective. I was just given instructions on how to reprogram the system which is something that I am not willing to do as I don't want the remote start feature to stop working. I am not happy with the product as the remotes seem to be very cheaply made. I will just use the original key fob to lock and unlock the doors and hope that the remote feature continues to work. If it fails, I will just buy a different brand of remote starter.
