PLEASE READ ME!

PLEASE READ ME!! NIGHTMARE STAY CLEAR! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T BUY IT! CONCORD RUINED MY LIFE! Never buy a warranty that doesn't require an inspection from the company. They will use the excuse that it's "PREEXISTING" damage. This is an EVIL company. My $18,000 car needs $13,000 worth of work to fix the VVT system. Concord claimed its "expert" technicians who've never seen the car said its preexisting damage. However, I have written proof and a documented 400-point inspection proving the car was in great shape before I bought it. They don't care the board of directors do this to people all the time. The service manager at the Maserati dealership says they pull this "preexisting" damage all the time. I complained to the manager at Concord about this issue. I could hear in his voice he knew my pain and understood this is a messed up company. They offered me a refund. But I would have never bought a Maserati without this warranty. Now, I am absolutely screwed. But that's their game. Pay them $3,000 a few months later when something major happens deny the claim, give them a prorated share pocket a few hundred bucks.

I would give this company no stars if I could. I requested a refund because I purchased a different car. I have called at least 10 times in the last 2 months regarding a refund. I have been given 4 different amounts that would be refunded and told many times the refund will be in my PayPal account on the day I called. I called again today and was told someone would also call me back shortly. I have been told that 3 times and have never received a return call. I originally requested they send me a check. I switched to PayPal when they said they sent the check and I never received it.

Junk Policy

This got to be one of the most incompotent extended warranty programs ever and I have 2 before this one! I do not know where to start with this company from bribing me to remove reviews to speaking to someone that seems to not understand english well but is working customer service! Concord rep told me several times that my part was being shipped to the Price Acura but after several calls they have told me that no part was being shipped and that is not the case! I was told by Concord that a rep would email the tracking number about 2 days ago and that did not happen because no part was ordered! So now I have no idea when that part will ship up to Prie Acura!!!! I had to call Concord several times today (12/7/23) to get that answer and the rep was being very avasive when I kept pressing about the time that they get the information from Price Acura where to send the part! I have had nothing but issues with this Concord and I am not sure why they claim they are number one1?!?! Concord is number one in delays and wasting time! Now the part I need will be shipped today (hopefully) instead of two days ago! I have a appt. on Monday and I do not have a car. It should not take more than a week to get this all taken care of since Concord is not covering the most expensive part! What a scam this company is and they will use the no deductable but do not fall for it because I would rather pay a a deductable and have more parts covered and shorter waite time than deaing with this con-job of a company! Stayway from this company!
Update 12/11/23

Concord stated that my parts would take 2 days to get to Price Acura and today the shop is still waiting! I called Concord on Friday 12/8/23 about he condition of the parts and warranty information and they stated someone would call me today 12/11/23 and no one has called me! Concord Auto Protect is a scam avoid them!

Update 12/14/23

Now this person named Abrenner is telling me that I must take a picture of my rim to file a rim claim but I have never done that before and Concord wired $100.00 and $95.00 to my paypal in the past that took around a week and now Abrenner is telling me I need to take a picture of the rim?!?!? Now Abrenner said he needs proof of damage for my rim claim and all I needed before was a invoice from the repair shop! Donot use this company, just trade your car in...

BTW I think Concord Auto Protect is lying about their parts warranty!

Never do business with Concord again.

I wish I saw these posted reviews before I purchased a warranty from Concord. All the negative reviews that I just read are SPOT ON! When I finally had a claim with Concord NO ONE WOULD SPEAK TO ME OVER THE PHONE. Only e-mail and it took days at a time before they replied to my emails. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had with a company. I pay thousands of dollars for a warranty and when it comes time for them to cover my car they basically altered everything. They won’t allow car rentals, even though it says they will in their contract. They wanted to use multiple replacement parts from a junk yard car that was in a huge fire. The parts had over double the miles on them than my car. And other repairs that were needed they would not cover. So after what they paid for, and after 4 months of having no car to drive, I had to pay $3,600 out of my pocket to get the car up and running. They would only pay for two junk yard parts and not the all the repairs needed to have the junk yard parts work. In other words, if I just repaired the car with the 2 junk yard parts, it still wouldn’t work and they didn’t care. It was an utter embarrassment on Concords part. It lasted over 4 months because it took a week at a time for them to return an email. And if you had multiple questions in an email they only answer one at a time and thrn you had to resend the questions and wait another week for next reply. Use Carshield, All state, Geico or anyone else. It is well worth it to pay extra and get a better company. So with the amount of money I had to put out to get my car repaired PROPERLY and the money I spent on the warranty, I was out almost $6,000. The only employees you can speak to in person are sales people (of course). You have to e mail all other employees. I asked to get the email address of managers, partners, CEO or owners and all my requests were denied. They said I can’t contact them. Go online for yourself and see that there is no company info at all. Stay away, as I am out almost $6,000. Read all the reviews in full, as I wish I did before I paid so much for so little.

False Advertising and Frauds

I went with this company because of their great ratings a few years ago (2021).
They do not honor valid claims or try to ignore your calls and emails in the hopes you will go away.
I put in a claim for a part associated with the "Differential Assembly", the Electronic Coupling Assembly which is attached to the AWD assembly. They said that it's not covered and offered me a $250 credit for being a customer. This is a $3,200 job and clearly if you cover the AWD system and the Differential Assembly (which is an included part) it should be covered.
When you finally get a hold of a person and you ask to speak to a supervisor they put someone on the phone who when you ask them if they are a supervisor are hesitant in saying yes which makes you believe they are not.
They are a scam!!

Still hoping its a misunderstanding

After my experience, it’s alarming how many bad reviews I’m running across. I don’t like giving negative reviews but after my 2 experiences that have both been negative, I figured I’d put this out in hopes that I may be contacted by someone who can help me understand, and provide some clarity.

My first experience filing a claim wasn’t good, but I chalked it up, giving the company the benefit of the doubt. My car was about two years old and the GPS navigation screen started flashing and doing weird things on the display screen, and when I plugged my phone into the USB port, it would no longer charge or read my phone. The dealership said they needed to replace the GPS Nav component, but Concorde would not honor this because they described it as a radio issue which is not covered. Not to mention, GPS is included in my coverage but I didn’t want to be that guy, so I left it alone. To add a positive to this, I believe Concord paid a very small amount towards the repair and that was very kind of them. Very much appreciated.

That experience happened a couple years ago. Recently, one week ago, I put in another claim because my engine was overheating, and my coolant kept emptying out without a trace of leakage under the hood or on the ground. I also asked to update my address in the system because you cannot do that on your own online and because I’m in the military, I move frequently. After a week went by I called (today) to ask if they had a status. Connor, who said he’s a supervisor told me in his words, “first of all updating your address is not a claim and second of all we don’t cover fluid problems.” After discussion, he was very rude and short with me from the beginning, even though I remained polite to him, he told me “let me simplify this for you if you want to file a claim, then you need to email us not go through the website claim process because we don’t always see it.” After this, we had a lot more discussion, he continued being rude, ultimately telling me that in the future, I need to just bring my car to the shop, give the shop my policy number and have them email Concord. After this, and further conversation about why this is different than the instructions I was previously given, also, there’s a claims request section on the web when I log in, I said I understand, and I asked for a manager. That’s when he told me a he’s a supervisor, so I asked, may I speak to someone above him, when he said he would forward me I asked for a phone number in case we get disconnected, and he said 801. When I asked him for the whole phone number he told me it’s the same number I just dialed with extension 801. Then, he hung up on me. At this point, I’m doing whatever I can to reach somebody above his level to have a conversation about this, and to better understand the claims filing process.

This company is a complete scam please…

This company is a complete scam please stay away I made a mistake by choosing them after several calls to me I was denied a claim for my 2018 Ford Explorer that has 40000 miles and a
Failed water pump according to the dealership that is a new diagnosis and have never had issues with anything regarding this SUV and have all the paperwork to prove it The dealership even stated that and they gave me copies of everything for legal action. Concord was aware this is my 4th vehicle and I only drove it about 50 to 100 miles per month after 300 plus miles I noticed something wrong so I took it to the dealership stated water pump failed new diagnosis never had issues before with this suv. So Concord denied the claim against the papers the dealership submitted stating no previous issues. Then they say I don't drive it enough to give them aproval the failed water pump that it must be existing. The service dept stated that their excuses were ridiculous and they kept changing their response I've contacted BBB and FTC and I am preparing a lawsuit because its the principle and integrity of the matter i don't want other customers to be taken advantage of. Stay clear don't listen to their fake positive reviews they are a complete fabrication. Thank God I did not add my other 3 vehicles which I had planned to do once their warranties expired . Only their sales dept will stay in communication with you just try to keep in touch when you need them ,I'd give them a zero rating if I could

This is better called scam warranty

This is better called scam warranty! I and highly reputable auto shop have been trying to get them to pay for failed parts that are clearly listed on the policy and they not only refuse to cover any of them (making stupid excuses) but they refuse to have the adjuster pick up the phone to call the shop... The adjuster says "sorry I don't have a landline to make outbound calls). They supposedly supervisor also refuse to make any calls or get on the phone. I have bought and paid for "premium" coverage for over $2590 and they've haven't paid any cover repairs at all. Now I'm going to have to sue them and report them to BBB and consumer affairs. Don't do business with the thieves!

Don’t fall for the fake reviews on here…

Don’t fall for the fake reviews on here , this is a pretentious company just selling insurances and making money , they claim to have your claims approved but when you connect with your body shop they have not received any communication from concord , it’s been 10 days I am struggling to get a simple claim processed via Concord , please note I am a premium customer , when you call them they just take your name and number and promise to resolve it , but story continues with no response , also note they are closed on weekends so they pretend they are open but planting executives who take your info name number and say hey you will be contacted next day , come next day nothing happens , I strongly suspect this company is a scam operation they take money pass few claims manipulate google reviews , sales team promises a lot but when it comes to real approval on claims that’s where real service comes into play no response no communication, no tracking of your claim via their website , when a body shop submits a claim it should be reflected on their website but nothing no way to track it , if this company is really legitimate then this is fairly easy to implement given they are insurance company and claims are made so customer can track them .

they should to be shut down for fraud

We purchased a used auto warranty for our 2018 Dodge ram 2500 diesel. April of 2021 with gene Harris and his exact words said this is a bumper to bumper policy like a brand new car and it was good for a 156000 miles or 2026 whichever expires 1st, So we purchased the warranty for $3100 a year .and 10 months later, we were having problems with the truck. We asked them to check the injectors as the engine was missing, when they check the injectors they all failed .Those are listed on our warranty and concord as of todays date has only offered to pay $500.00. All parts per our diesel mechanic, states these are all on the warranty. I have called them every single day for more than 2 weeks and keep getting no straight answers. this is fraud. after filing the claim they cancelled my account, kept my money and never paid the claim.

The above was files over a year ago. after researching this company , There is no business in the entire state by that name. I have since reported them to sec of state , BBB, state revenue office etc. to go after them.

Have not had to file a claim 3 years…

Have not had to file a claim 3 years into our contract with Concord. We purchased because factory warranty expired on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, 52,000 mi. A word of advice to anyone considering any warranty co. Make sure you are absolutely committed to maintaining your vehicle in accordance with manufacturers specs. and be sure to have receipts and explanation of work performed. If you live up to your obligations under the terms of your policy you will have a better chance of getting your claim paid. jmho

Very happy with the customer service at Concord. I called them about a claim and it was taken care of quickly within 24 hours of the first call. The repair was taken care of by the warranty plan and saved me a decent amount of money off that one repair. We got the Cadillac back and now the transmission is shifting as it should be without any more issues thankfully. Other than that not much else to mention, everything was super easy and stress free which is awesome.

I looked into multiple car warranty…

I looked into multiple car warranty companies and Concord ended up being the best choice for me. I think the car warranty plan covers a lot of items on my car which helped me feel a lot better knowing i'm covered. The cost of the warranty in the long run will be worth it because on my last car the repairs became expensive quickly unfortunately. Another positive point about the interaction was the staff was kind about everything and made sure I understood everything about the plan. One more item I found that was great was that I can still use my local mechanic for my repair if any ever come up and still be covered by the warranty plan.

I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE…

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. When it comes to high price ticket items such as Engines and Transmissions they will try to find any reason they can fit in to NOT pay for the repair. They claim to be #1 experts in vehicle policy repair coverage which would lead one to believe they have in-depth knowledge on what they will and will not cover before they sell you a policy. On 10/04/2019, I purchase their top of the line Premium Policy. This policy was to cover my 2012, Ford, Focus. When I purchased the policy I was asked if there were any major problems that I had had with the vehicle and I pssed on to the sales rep that I had the transmission re-done by Ford in 2018. I was told that was great and if I had the paper work to back that. I did. Come December, 2022, my transmission started to act up so I took my vehicle into a repair shop in Phoenix, AZ. The shop diagnosed the problem to being the transmission. They submitted the paper work that Concord required to have the vehicle fixed costing just over $5,000 to fix. After my vehicle sat there for over 5 days, Concord DENIED the claim and sighted a line, in the Exclusionary Section, that reads that they would not cover any vehicle with a TSB attached to it. Not knowing what a TSB was, I came to find out it was a Technical Service Bulletin that is attached to certain vehicles and Concord will not cover those repair items. No PERSON, outside of the auto industry, would know what that term meant especially you the consumer. They bury it deep in the exclusionary section and claim ALL companies do this. I tried to file a Claims Appeal and GOT absolutely NO Response from this company. The bottom line is that I purchased a policy from Concord in OCT. of 2019 and the so called TBS on my transmission was issued in AUGUST OF 2016 after FORD lost a Major, Federal Law Suit, in regards to my Vehicles Transmission being faulty. Concord should have known that they would not cover my transmission before issuing the policy however took my money any way. This shows the lack of transparency, honesty, and being up front with consumers. Al they will tell you is that we give you 30 days to cancel and get your money back if you don't like our policies. #1 RATED I think NOT.

Concord Auto Protect—great service

I have dealt with Concorde auto protect for a number of years. Once my heater core went out two days after the warranty expired, and they still agreed to pay for half the repair.

Recently, I bought a policy, but then had to cancel it. They did so with no issue at all.

Jose Garcia is an exceptional agent who helped me a lot. Many thanks to everyone. Victor Bernstein.

I would recommend Concord Auto Protect to everyone I know that is looking for a reliable and fair car warranty company to use. I think they have a plan for anyones budget no matter what you're looking for. I know my budget for a plan was not very high and they still were able to offer me coverage for my car. Excited to see how the plan works out in the long run but I think it was the right purchase to make to have some sort of peace of mind from repairs.
