I love connext

I opened an account, made a deposit, and after tripling my funds using a highly effective EA, I attempted my first withdrawal—only to be accused of latency trading and have the withdrawal denied. While I did engage in automated trading using an EA, I have never done latency trading.

Even though I repeatedly asked them to provide evidence to support their suspicion of latency trading, they never showed any proof. It's clear they simply don't want to pay out profits, so they made baseless accusations without evidence to refuse the withdrawal. All the profits I had earned were confiscated, and although they claimed they would allow me to withdraw my original deposit, they deducted 10% as a so-called penalty upon withdrawal.

I suspect that their strategy may be to deny profit withdrawals when someone makes a substantial gain and then charge a 10% fee on returning the initial deposit in order to maximize their own profits.

It seems that small withdrawals are processed for some users, but if you're lucky enough to earn significant profits, you never know when they’ll turn on you. I believe they are a so-called “bucket shop” that doesn’t send trades to the market but handles them internally. In other words, user losses equal their profits. While most individual investors lose in FX anyway, a few lucky individuals like myself sometimes make substantial profits. Normally, the users’ losses are the broker's gains and vice versa. So I believe they have an internal policy of blocking withdrawals once they decide a user’s profit has become too large.

If you're losing money in FX or only making small profits, it might be fine to use this broker. But if you're capable of making—or aiming to make—significant profits, I absolutely do not recommend using this broker.

I’m not saying it’s outright fraud, but since you can't withdraw large profits from this broker, it’s essentially the same as a scam.

Becareful with their scammy IB program. They are not transparent at all with the commission they pay. IB becareful.

These bunch of idiots even try to report my review for defamation but I have contacted their support before to inquire about their IB program and all they ever did was send me to a page with the least information

I don't have to deposit to try out your customer service. Your zero tolerance clearly didn't apply to your intellectual comprehension

I deposited USD 450 into my Connextfx account in October 2025. After a few small trades, my balance grew to about USD 549, including a modest profit.

To my surprise, Connextfx deducted all balance from my account, citing a “rules violation.” This removed not only the profit but also my original deposit. I reached out to support but was told that no further adjustments would be made, with no detailed explanation provided.

This experience has been very frustrating. As a client, I expected fairness and transparency, especially regarding my deposited funds. I share this to caution others to carefully consider before depositing with this broker.

I traded with ConnextFX, and they just cut my profit, saying something about ‘abusive trading’ and ‘dishonest behavior’. What’s next, are they gonna cry? Seems like they give the same excuse to everyone. Hiding behind this so-called ‘abuse policy’ and some imaginary ‘platform vulnerabilities’.

Guys, I’ve been in the market since 2004, I even had my own brokerage company, so don’t try to feed me nonsense. This is exactly how shady brokers and scammers act.

If you claim there are ‘holes’ in your platform but still give it to clients, that’s on you, not the traders. Or do your rules just stop working once clients lose money? Then of course it’s all fine, even if they supposedly ‘abuse’ your vulnerabilities.

If you’re just a bucket shop and can’t handle being a real broker, then widen the spreads, slow down execution, whatever — at least don’t look so cheap. But cutting profit is just low.

Not only did they cut my profit, they also charged 10% for withdrawals. That’s just low.
