Worst buying experience ever!

I would rate Conns as their name suggests! Bought a defective mattress, went thru their difficult process of talking to 8 different people from 5 different countries and multiple different departments to finally get an exchange approved. Mind you we paid in full nearly 2 weeks ago. Got a defective mattress that was not even sleepable. Finally get approval, Call the store to arrange the new replacement and the sales Manger Julio in Good Year AZ told me to F off and find a different store to get replacement mattress from. How's that for customer service! Don't buy from Conns!

Read your contract before you sign anything!!

I'm close to paying off a previous order in 11 months so I decided to purchase a range and a microwave from conns.com. The Mesquite store called me and wanted to do business with me rather than deal with customer service. (Big Mistake). I almost forget Conns like to use tablets to capture your signature and initials which auto populates throughout the contract you never reviewed. By the time I reviewed the paperwork the sales team took $2800 dollars of items and billed it out at over $4400. So I called to have service contracts removed. They told me I had to come to the store or wait to have the items delivered. But knowing contract law, I know once items are delivered after you've signed the contract - no one has to change it. God works in mysterious ways because these people missed the scheduled/promised delivery date so I called the store to cancel the delivery and contract. The price of the range and microwave is cheaper and I want the new price. I haven't heard anything back from them so I entered a ticket# to cancel everything. And, I found the items today at Best Buy cheaper.

I purchase a refrigerator

I purchase a refrigerator, living room and dining table in November. The delivery was cancelled twice in December. They came in January with half of the appliances. The worst company ever, very irresponsible, bad customer service, especially Kissimmee store. I don't recommend no one to buy here.

Horrible experience buying washing…

Horrible experience buying washing machine. I bought because of an emergency and they promised next day delivery. Well, next day delivery didn't happen. The day of rescheduled delivery, the crew said they couldn't close the water valve and told me to call a plumber. My home is only 4 years old so I was shocked something could be wrong. As I have renters in home and I wasn't there in person, I called a plumber. Upon visiting, plumber told me there's nothing wrong with valve and that the crew didn't apply enough pressure to close valve. So more time and money wasted along with unhappy renters. The second time crew came out to re-deliver washing machine, they apparently dislodged the overflow pan from floor but wouldn't assume responsibility. Now we may have a bouncing washing machine. Short story, I agree with all other reviews...DO NOT SHOP at CONN'S. They're horrible and customer service can't do anything to help.

I purchased a bed and mattress online…

I purchased a bed and mattress online for 1000 dollars the bed is cheap as hell and I paid 180.00 for the mattress and it's so crappy small as a mattress pad thickness . They wouldn't let me return the mattress even the same day unopened not ever even touched. Said regulations didn't allow it yet the plastic never removed and never even touched it .the fees are horrible.i did it in a pinch for company coming boone can sleep on the crappy mattress and the bed would break with any extended weight or large person. The slats are thin and already breaking. Don't buy from this place or look before you do

Made a purchase online and had…

Made a purchase online and had confirmation that it had been shipped. Weeks later, the day before delivery, I was sent an email that the new delivery date would be 25 days later. Called multiple times and they were unable to help assist in the matter and I was hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager. It seems from the conversation that the washing machine I purchased and was shipped to the warehouse specifically because I bought it, was sold to someone else. No resolution has been made. All stores are now out of stock of this item. I never would have made the purchase if I would have known they wouldn't have been able to provide the product for weeks longer and now all other stores are out of stock/backordered. Plus I had time off work for the delivery and don't know how I will even be able to accommodate delivery on that date. Sold other washer and dryer and have nothing in anticipation of the arrival, which I confirmed less than a week before the scheduled delivery date as well.

What a rip off bought a dishwasher

What a rip off bought a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave from these folks and a five year warranty. Now not even 3 years later the seal in my dishwasher is broken and they tried to tell me I purchased a warranty only for the refrigerator, ridiculous. Customer Service can care less. Save yourself a lot of heart ache. I know for the most part folks buy from here because you are in a situation that you have to, take a personal loan or find another way t to head people are thieves.

Lied to me about my totals saying they were less than what they were then all of a sudden I owed an extra 1500$ these people are liars! They refuse to give me the recordings of our conversations proving what they said an that they are wrong! Don’t not use this company they are liars a will cheat you out of money!!!!

Hello,

My name is C. Johnson. I purchased a black leather theater set from Conn’s Furniture on April 1, 2020. I loved my leather furniture set so much I came back in November of 2020 to purchase a bedroom set. I was informed on April 1, 2020, by Staff at Conn’s at the Montgomery, AL location before purchasing the leather furniture that if I purchase the warranty and if anything, unfortunate was to happen to the furniture it would be replaced…Not Fixed…but Replaced. (I can provide names if need be) I am currently still paying on my furniture every 1st of the month and I have never been late. In addition, I currently still have the RSA Warranty on every piece of furniture purchased in 2020.

Fast forward to November 2022. I contacted Conn’s due to structural damage to my leather theater set which includes a torn cup holder, recliner seat will not go down, busted seams, and extreme discoloration. There have been several tickets placed regarding this matter. On 12/5/2022, I was told from a Conn’s worker by the name of Michelle (Corporate Office) that my furniture would be replaced as she was looking at the pictures herself and was disgusted with the furniture. However, I continue to receive the run around from the warranty and furniture service department. I have had the phone hung up in my face due to this matter. A third-party company came out on 12/2/22 and determined on their own that they were going to only fix the recliner that would not flip down and the cup holder. I received a text on yesterday from this same company stating the parts for fixing the cup holder and seat will not delivered until 10-12 weeks. I never gave them permission, nor did I sign anything requesting them to order parts for my furniture. At this point my furniture need to be replaced as it is grey instead of black.

I purchased a new home in December of last year and wanted my family over for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year; however, my Conn’s furniture looks horrible. I understand things happen; however, I am truly disgusted with the customer service from Conn’s. I have been informed on several occasions within the last month that someone from Corporate would contact me; however, I continue to receive emails denying my claims instead of someone taking the time to contact me regarding the replacement of my furniture. I was told by 2 Conn’s workers that my furniture would be replaced. I have been requesting to speak with Interim Chief Executive Officer and President Mr. Norm Miller and/or Chief Human Resource Officer Mr. Brain Daley, but no one seems to know how to contact them. I want to continue shopping with Conn’s; however, the treatment from customer services has been horrible. I am requesting to speak with Mr. Miller or Mr. Daley regarding my concerns. Hope to hear from someone soon who can make this right. Thank you.

The customer service is the worst for Conns!

The customer service is just plain terrible. Whenever they came to replace parts in my TV which was a 65 inch 4K LG tv, the same issue kept coming and conns never honored their promise to fix the same problem and not allowing me to switch to a newer TV. And when I tried to sell out the warranty since the TV was deemed unrepairable, they went back on their word and did not give me any compensation and did not fulfill the promise in which it was already approved. Instead they turned around and said it was denied and would rather pay themselves.

We upgraded our home in September 2022…

We upgraded our home in September 2022 with all new appliances. After everything was installed my wife and I looked everything over, small dent in the bottom draw of the fridge and we didn't say anything. After 2 or 3 days a god loud irritating noise was come from the fridge. I contacted Conn's about it and asked for the manager and of course he/she wasn't in. I have yet heard or spoke to the manager. I contacted CONN'S Appliance Service Dept. Still to date my REFRIGERATOR is making a irritating noise. I also noticed on the inside on the wall of the fridge there's all the information model #, DATE OF MANUFACTURED. The date of my REFRIGERATOR was sold as NEW, (2022), but was manufactured in 2020. I was told by the Service Department, the REFRIGERATOR was out of WARRANTY because it was over 2 years old. I am awaiting to hear from somebody. I am writing this complaint to "Trust Pilot" in hopes someone will contact me and get the issues taken care of.

Crooked Conns Homes Plus …

This is the email that I sent them on November 30th after I paid them $200.00 from the $327.29 that they said was owed. then they said that I still owed $289.59.........
On October 27th,I owed you $518.00 and I paid you $200.00. Then on November 2, which left a balance of $318.00. I made a $200.00 payment today which left a balance of $118.00 and that's it.... that's all I ***** owe Conn's Home Plus and I am showing everyone on social media how crooked you all are scamming people out of their money and I am going to report you all for price gouging, and entrapment.I am contacting the BBB,FTC and the Attorney Generals Office. If you don't believe me then check your social media site.....

I would never recommend Conn"s

My partner got a bedroom suit from them in June, and was later diagnosed with cancer the following month. His cancer is aggressive so he had to come out of work and undergo treatment immediately. So I contacted Conn's to discuss the matter before the payment was due, as I did with other creditors (which I had no problem with) and they said there was nothing we could do because the payment was not late. And I said, you would rather the account become past due than to work out some type of agreement? And she said that it has to be late before anything can be done. So I called 2 days after the payment was due and I was told I had to make the late payment before they can arrange anything. At this point
I'm really frustrated because we tried to get something done before it even got to this point and they refused to do anything. Then I went to look through his paperwork and according to the paper, his disability is supposed to be covered under the insurance. I called and inquired about that and they said he had no such coverage! Now the account is delinquent and he is not doing well so I have become his full-time caregiver and I've been handling his business but all of a sudden, now they can't talk to me, the have to speak with him. I told her, he is not mentally or physically able to talk with anyone at this point. I explained everything to her and she said well we need a payment immediately but I have to talk to him and she hung up! I would not EVER recommend this company to anyone ever!!!! With all the things going on in this world the last thing you need is the headache of dealing with companies like this one. They will shred your credit while you are fighting for your life.

Also the quality of the furniture is so cheap for what they charge. He has a headboard that he was told he could connect to the t.v. with a Bluetooth and it lights up. A BIG LIE!!!! Nothing but a led light that can't be replaced when it burns out. They got their name honestly!!

This review is for an online order

This review is for an online order. I've waited weeks to review to have a fair and less angry examination. My refrigerator went out so I ordered from Conns on a Monday. I went with Conns because they were the fastest turn-around on delivery and with Thanksgiving being less than 2 weeks away I needed a refrigerator. This is the ONLY reason why I went with them. The unit was actually more expensive than their competitors. The unit was guaranteed to be delivered by Friday.
Timeline:
Friday: fridge shows up, minutes before the delivery window closes, guys don't unload it and show me pictures of the unit. The entire front panel is smashed in. It was loaded on the truck that way! They picked that one. Crazy! They asked if I ordered it that way. No! So they said they would try to get it delivered the next day, Saturday. Called Conns and they said the best they could do for delivery was the following Tuesday! 2 days before Thanksgiving. Not acceptable, but what are you going to do? So I waited.
Monday: Went to the warehouse myself to ask about delivery because I still had not received word they were actually going to deliver this thing tomorrow. A nice gentleman said yes I was on the schedule and he didn't know why I wasn't alerted about it yet. The warehouse is 6 miles from my house and there are over 100 units in stock.
Tuesday: 2 min before the delivery window closes, They show up and say they can't get down my driveway because of a limb that would hit the top of their truck ( other truck came down no problem). They called me from the street and asked me to walk outside instead of coming to my door. Weird. I tell them it won't hurt their truck and I don't care about the limb, it's a small Leland Cyprus limb. I ask them if they have a dolly on their truck and they said no (moving co. without a dolly? Seems weird). So I give them other options, I need this unit delivered today, it's been over a week without a fridge and Thanksgiving is in 2 days. So I wait while they make a fake phone call and sit in their truck. I'm sitting in the driveway next to their truck. Also, they told me they don't work for Conns so I would have to take it up with them. Um, what? Directly they don't, but they are delivering FOR Conns! I didn't hire them independently! The truck starts and they PULL AWAY! Never telling a thing. I attempt to chase after the truck to get some answers and they never stop!
Tuesday night: Go to Home Depot and buy the fridge to be delivered the next week. Cancel order from Conns
Following MONDAY: ( after Thanksgiving) get a call they are going to redeliver my unit. ( I already canceled this order a week ago) . Mad they showed up and I refused delivery. I call and they have no record of the cancellation. I talked to Michelle in the online dept a week before and she definitely canceled the order.
Tuesday: Home Depot delivers my unit and removes the old one with no problems at all. Their driver calls and tells me how close they are and how many stops away they are. He gets out of the truck and rings my doorbell! Very curious and took their time to explain the features of the unit. Needless to say, they got a big tip to go out to lunch and I finally got a fridge from a company I should have gone with in the first place.

In summation: Conns is synonymous with their name - They are Conns, avoid at all costs.

Conns are con artists

Conns are con artists. They told me they would ensure I didn’t pass my no interest period by calling and mailing letters. They did not do this. They then made it where I couldn’t comment on any Facebook posts to inform others to not shop. I paid off my washer and dryer but because they didn’t fulfill their promise to me they made on the phone I now owe 1400 more for interest: don’t shop there.

Do not shop with this company

Do not shop with this company. We purchased a Samsung stove and July of this year and the panel went out about 3 weeks ago and we call about the warranty and they sent out a technician and the repairman said that he could not repair the stove. He told us to wait 24 hours for him to submit the information and the system and that another agent will contact us About either replacing or getting someone else to repair the stove. Here we are the day before Thanksgiving and have not heard anything from anyone in regards to the stove game repaired. Each time we call we get the run around. On the stove is still not fixed or replaced

Conn’s doesn’t deserve that start at…

Conn’s doesn’t deserve that start at all!!!!! I bought a washer a dryer set Monday, which we picked up from the warehouse Avondale.Monday night I did a load of laundry which ended up flooding my laundry room hallway and part of my kitchen. Contacted Conns Tuesday morning to inform them to schedule a time to return the washer. I was informed I would get a email to schedule a time that they would pick up the defective one a bring a new one. Great amazing. Wednesday afternoon still nothing contacted Conns pick up area where I was informed they don’t provide a service to pick up defective item an drop off new one. They created a ticket for warehouse an someone would contact me. Thursday afternoon again nothing calling several different departments leaving messages for someone to contact me. I contact pick up department were I was transferred to warehouse and was hung up on. The worst part is their own customer service person said they get that all the time they were NOT surprised at all. Now Friday I emailed a lovelle J person last night an still No support this person is supposed to be the manager if this is the manager no wonder it’s a circus 🤡 No type of customer sevice at all. Do Not buy from Conn’s they are happy to take your money but will not help if you have a problem

I'm only giving them 1 star because…

I'm only giving them 1 star because toggling it is required to write a review. I'm a new conn's customer and had just received a washer and dryer (financed of course) and it has come with extra. One of the units is hosting a rat. I received them Tuesday and Wednesday night I had the displeasure of finding out what the noise coming from them was. By Thursday morning I was calling customer service, the warehouse and whomever else I could to take care of the matter. I've even requested to speak with a manager/ supervisor (have not received a callback). Ultimately they tell me they cannot help me because of the picture that were taken at delivery of the drums of the units and they "appear" fine. When the fact that the rodent is NOT in the drum was pointed out they rebutted with the question "you would expect us to take the units apart and take pictures of the inside?"... but obviously missing the point that that would be what I would have had to do to even know NOT to have accepted the units to avoid this situation. I'm upset because I've asked for finding for this, it's my first alliance purchase, I've paid for insurance and warranty for poor service and accountability. I'm offended that the representatives and manager Mariah (like the singer, said she the only Mariah. Yes this is how she wanted to be remembered) some to me as if I live in filth with a gang of rats. And this was after they were informed of my children's health issues ( I have a child with respiratory issues and another allergic to rodents). I am not badly and would not refer anyone to deal with this kind of service.

I have had good service until a week…

I have had good service until a week ago when I bought 65 in that appeared to be fine until I got it home and found it had a scratch and when I plugged it in lines across the screen. Informed them said couldn't help me physical damage. I even have a renters insurance through them and still no help. I am going to my congressman tomorrow something has to be done to protect the consumers. I am a disabled vet and I will pass the word to other vets don't use Conns whatever you do
