The Business Review with Kristal Tyrell-Johnson was handled professionally and informatively. Kristal explained things clearly and made it easy to understand. She explained the areas on the platform that I really didn't understand. I truly believe that with what we now know, it can only help the business.

A soul destroying experience...

Constantly moving goalposts with unrealistic requirements, at huge expense for a small business.
Perpetual rejections, waiting nearly 3 weeks for a reply once submitted for verfication - despite us being SSIP certified by other decent providers SMAS & SafeContractor.
Would not recommend to anyone - only using as required by clients :(

Knowledgeable and Thorough

Knowledgeable and Thorough: During a recent platform company review, I gained a much clearer understanding of how to locate potential ITTs and EOIs and how to use the Marketplace more effectively. I can now focus compliance activity more precisely against GOLD Standard requirements rather than working broadly across the system.

The updates and guidance around Marketplace, Dynamic Purchasing Systems, and related tools have helped me understand where opportunities sit and how to track them more effectively. I also now have a better grasp of supporting resources such as data portability, market intelligence, and tender management.

Robert is knowledgeable and thorough, and consistently helps translate platform changes into practical understanding. Each review brings a new learning opportunity and improves how I use the system.”

Unfortunately very frustrating

Unfortunately very frustrating, issues from the start, took 6 weeks for them to sort out our price banding, as the automated system would not correctly verify our financial accounts. Then the significant delays for verification of submitted sections takes far longer that 10 working days. Excluding the bank holidays currently on working day 16 and still waiting, generally told there is a backlog. Further protracted when you need to submit further evidence and then re-submit again. Wish we did not have to use this provider, but our client stipulates that we do.

They place unreasonable requirements on small companies and are seriously inefficient in replying to help…

They place unreasonable requirements and hurdles on to very small companies with no differentiation as to size or turnover. The rejections are constant and regular and by the time you have satisfied one, aniother goes out of date and they reject you again.
Seriously, they have no care for the people that pay their fees and also have a chat help desk that takes an hour to enter as such a long queue

Quick to take your money - Always move the goalposts

We have used Constructionline (due to client requests) since 2012. Every year the price goes up substantially. First year 2012 £108.00 - this year 2026 £2,529.00. We still have to fill out PPQ's for new jobs and we are a small - medium company. This year has been so painful with so many rejections and then taking certification off us which then leads to losing clients. I bet we would be audited faster if we paid AFTER the audit. They take your money and then just throw in more goal post moves which affects your accreditation. I am so frustrated with this company every single month there is something they are not happy with. The online chat does not start till 10am and then you are 44th in line or no one answers the phone. I have no problems with CHAS or PQS when audited - only this company

Would give zero stars if possible.

We have been with Constructionline for years due to customers insisting on it.
Otherwise we wouldn't bother.

Every year it's more of a tick box exercise.

The days of assessors using commonsense as they have industry experience seem to have gone and its now an endless paper chase with Constructionline / Once For All taking over 10 working days to assess a submission - rejecting a policy over the position of the MD being missing ..then taking over 12 working days to re-assess.
If you can avoid it please do.

What went right

What went right. Months of uploading policies waiting in phone ques to have items previously accepted turned down to request more info about not much. Even policies about policies to be told we're actually a different category of company and should be given this prestige and useless reward months ago. Great addition to the supply chain.. cheers. Driving up costs for all

Ignoring my complaint

Ignoring my complaint, and taking Direct Debit without warning.
Even though it is blatantly obvious that I have not been on the website for months, or updated any of our policies and thus am no longer certified, Constructionline still chose to take the Direct Debit, and are not upholding my complaint that I did not receive any email reminders about it. What good would it be to me to ignore them? If I had known there was a DD mandate in place I would have cancelled it, and been grateful for the reminders.
What help is this organisation to a small business when they WILL NOT listen , and take around £1,500.00 for absolutely nothing. £ 1,500.00!!! Is this about help or money making?

Great help and professionalism

Amanda was the ultimate knowledge of the Constructionline platform if their is anything you don't know or understand Amanda will navigate you through this. Copeland have used Constructionline for many years and never had this professionalism showed :-) thank you again Amanda for all your help

Less than 1 star

over the last number of months the service is going down hill, weeks to get simply documents approved when i spoke to someone they did not help but purely pointed me in the directions of the terms and conditions such a lack of customer care then the costs increasing so the value is decreasing, almost impossible to actually talk to someone 10am start!!! thought this was a construction platform.
Then there's the rejection of evidence that does meet the requirement, or the inability to open certain formats.

honestly I wish we had never started using the system 7+ years ago and we are seriously considering alternative's.

my advice to anyone thinking about using them is dont!!!!!
