Honest and upfront in prices
I appreciate Contact Lens King being honest in their reason for the high processing fees. My eyes are so bad that I have to get the more expensive contact lenses, and cost is an important factor. They asked me to compare bottom line prices, so I did, and they were the lowest!

Very slow processing
UPDATE: Wow! their response on 1/16 indicated that our order was placed on 1/18???? I am updating this on 1/17. This is a perfect example of how messed up this company is. The order was actually placed on 1/8 and we have the receipt to prove it. My wife had to call them two weeks later to get them to ship the order. We paid for "expedited" shipping which was clearly a waste of money.

Ordered my wife's contact lenses a week ago and uploaded her prescription the same day. The order has not yet shipped. Had the same problem last time, the are verrrrrry slow. On top of that they charge a huge processing fee that you're not aware of until just before checkout. The result is it's not that much of a savings from other vendors. Not worth the small savings if you have to to wait weeks for your order. Going forward we will pay a few dollars more to get our order in a reasonable time.

Updated: I do apologize for the frustrations regarding the processing fee. This fee is clearly state on our product page under the cost of the item. It states: This item is on sale and not eligible for any coupons. A processing fee will apply. There is a read more button that you are able to click on the displays a popup giving you the price per box as well as the explanation of the processing fee. Once you add the items to the cart, each step of the checkout process has all charges broken our including the processing fee. All this is explained prior to the final step of the checkout.

Terrible service
Terrible service. Beware, they will not exchange or allow returns on contacts that can no longer be used due to a changed Rx. If you buy a year's worth at a time, and your Rx changes afterwards, they will only take back an unopened box, leaving you with what could be an 89 day supply of now unusable lenses Additionally, they won't exchange any unopened lens boxes. You will be charged a much higher cost. Additionally, 1800contacts does both returns and exchanges of their contact lenses.

Additionally, because each brand and prescription of contact lenses varies in cost, we are unable to offer exchanges. While our return policy—agreed to at checkout—allows returns within 30 days, we made a one-time exception in your case and offered to accept any boxes that were factory sealed and free of markings.
We understand how disappointing this may be, and we truly regret any inconvenience. Please know that Contact Lens King is required to follow these strict guidelines to remain compliant with federal regulations.
