Contengate Reviews 

I noticed an irregular payment going from my bank account - Contengate.com - so checked it out online. Lots of reviews and a scam search site told me this company use the front of being a gaming website - We don't subscribe to any! - to set up monthly payments from their victims bank accounts. I was deeply shocked and have no idea how they even got my details, as I have never been scammed before, and I am very diligent with security around identity and banking. I've seen some reviews where their page pops up so the unsuspecting victim falls prey to their underhanded tactics. In total, they scammed me for 6 months. I immediately reported the fraud to my bank, and as soon as my claim was submitted, I was impressed by the immediate bank alert to say that my claim was successful, and assumed that the banks have a list of scammers, which is why the respond so promptly. I have never heard of CONTENGATE.COM until this. I am telling my story in an attempt to assist other people who've been scammed by this despicable company.

I have tried to cancel they still take money. They have been blocked on all my cards so they to money through Google Pay. I have contacted them and got no reply

They are ALMOST certainly fraudulent

Paid 0.99 for an id check for a video compressor app. A request for payment flashed up for a larger amount which I declined. Contengate then lifted £39.99 from my account. The bank initially froze my card but then sent a new card and automically lifted the freeze on the old card. They then paid the £39.99. have to start the whole process again

This company aims to get new subscribers by deception, posing as a pay button, in our case, on the parkopedia website. Their "advertisement" consists solely of a button marked "pay", colour coded to match the buttons on the parkopedia site itself.

An honest, reputable business would be open about the service they are promoting, so this company, in all it's guises, falls well short. Dishonest, untrustworthy and deceitful. Avoid.
