Less than ideal...
The platform and results were less than ideal. The form to submit an article request is extensive and time-consuming, though the authors don't seem to follow the provided guidelines anyways.
Their support team was responsive, but i will not be using Content Pit in the future.

Just to clarify for anyone who's reading, we only ask for 4 things when writing an article: the article's main keyword/topic, target length, purpose, and additional instructions (optional). We also support submitting a brief through Google Docs. If you have a brief ready, it should only take seconds to copy/paste the info into our system.

Incomparable to in-house writers
Tried out Content Pit based on a recommendation from The Niche Site Lady.
We have in-house content writers, however we wanted to trial Content Pit's service to see if they could supplement our content production from time to time.
Pros: Quick communication and turnaround time.
Cons: The language used was quite wordy, which is not ideal for Google. I was also disappointed in the lack of creativity (e.g. using "In Conclusion" for the header of the last paragraph). The content was missing key information, therefore it was not comprehensive enough to over the topic.
I was honest with Content Pit that my expectations were not met, and they promptly apologized and offered a refund without me needing to ask. This was greatly appreciated.
Overall: Maybe Content Pit can be helpful for site owners who are just starting out, however the service does not compare to having high quality in-house writers.

Your follow up feedback was "The readability isn't great – some of the sentences are quite wordy."
That's not much to go on for a second round of edits, but I assume that at this point you may have determined that we aren't a good fit and did not want to waste time providing more feedback, which is totally understandable of course.
As such we chose to offer a full refund as per our 100% satisfaction guarantee policy and we even waived our rights to the content as a courtesy so you can still use it and have your in-house writers edit it the way you want. (You mentioned your in-house writers will edit the content before publishing, so I'm assuming you did not deem it completely unusable).
If more feedback was provided, we would have carried out revisions until you were 100% satisfied under our unlimited revisions policy, or may have even offered a full rewrite of the problematic articles if needed. We would then take all your feedback into consideration for future articles.
I’m disappointed that despite our best efforts you still felt that your overall experience was a 2-star one. If there’s anything we can do to improve your experience with us now or in the future, please do let us know, we’ll be more than glad to help.
