I have never experienced so much stress with this company and they were not even our solicitors.
The whole process would have been far more simpler if they had responded in good time and been honest about the process not only to us but to their own client. We got told off for expecting a quick sale even though they told their client who was our buyer that everything was in order. When our draft contract was sent it was ignored for the first 6 weeks, they lied about searches as I had confirmation from LA that they had been done and sent back 10 days prior! Radio silence was common and we would often had to get our estate agent to contact the buyer, who would chase ConveyancingHome for an update. The final straw was when we were asked if 4th June was agreeable to complete - only to find out out that funds were not ready nor did they have all relevant signed paperwork, this was no fault of our buyer just total unprofessional working of one individual, finally exchanged at 11am on Tuesday and still on day of completion stress levels were raised as they final monies took for ever - apparently they were sent and they hadn’t been, we completed at 3pm whilst driving to our new home. Never ever use this company, like someone else commented I think they are looking at the commission instead of the people and lives involved - moving house can be made a lot less stressful that it needs to be. Absolutely shocking !😮
CONVEYANCING HOME your response to me just proves what I said in my first review. I may not of been a client of your directly but indirectly I was in the chain of the client you represented, regardless of being a client or not, you are not a professional company and caused myself and your client unnecessary stress.

Was recommended by "Your Move" about Conveyancing Home. So i decided to go ahead with them.3/4 way through my sale I got an email to inform me my Team Leader had left that was dealing with my Sale. I must admit it put me in a bit of a panic mode but i had no need to worry. Carly Team Leader from Leeds phoned me with an update she and her team were taking over. I had no need to worry they were on the ball it was like they had handled my sale from day one. They emailed any querys i had asap. Answered all telephone enquiry when i rang. And kept me updated with everything. I have moved several times over the years and never had exceptional 5* service like they have done for me. I would recommend them Highly to anyone FIRST CLSSS SERVICE i even used them for my purchase as well they were that good.thank you Carly,Cheryl and team you all made me feel relaxed.

Kayleigh and Ashwin at CH far exceeded any expectations we may have had for our solicitors. Emails and calls were answered immediately, work was thorough, communication and updates were constant. Our sales progressors told us that Kayleigh was the best solicitor they had ever worked with.

We had a really rough house buying journey after being gazumped, and Kayleigh was so kind, reassuring and helpful through everything. After finally finding a (much better) house and completing last week, we were so thrilled with her service that we sent flowers and chocolates as a gesture of thanks. If we ever move again we wouldn’t consider hiring anyone else. In the meantime we will be recommending her to everyone we can think of.

I've just completed on a house with this company. While the completion time wasn't excessively over the predicted number of weeks (it took 20 weeks compared to the predicted 16 weeks), I am not happy with this service in general.

The communication, especially from higher executives like Gemma Murphy, often felt hurried and confusing, usually sent with either spelling/grammar errors, with delays or only answering part of my queries. Evidence, such as for the Source of Funds analysis, was requested in irregular, partial manners. This made the process feel like a wild goose chase with zero oversight for me of what was expected of me. It is my impression that this company attempts to handle too many clients for its capacity in order to secure higher profit margins, resulting in reduced quality for its clients.

One beacon of light at this company is Hamaad Butt. While also restricted by the companies inefficient internal processes and systems, he provided what felt to me like a personal, caring service to the best of his ability. Often he would put extra effort in to find answers to the many questions I had, and at one point I realised that to get answers quickly, I was better off calling Hamaad rather than emailing. He seemed to genuinely care in providing a good service, which brought this review from a 1-star to a 2-star.

Lucy Clayton of Conveyancing Home Ltd handled the purchase of our property. She handled the whole process with Express professionalism and real expertise. I initially felt she was taking too long but she never compromised nor succumb to my pressure but followed the due process in the most thorough manner. She really did a very good job. My wife and I are grateful for the high standard quality service delivery by Lucy. We shall always recommend Conveyancing Home Ltd to whoever wants to purchase or sell a property.

Excellent service throughout my house purchase. Jennifer and her team were professional, thorough, and handled everything carefully from start to finish. Absolutely appalling service from start to finish.

My offer on a property was accepted in January, and we are now in May with the entire chain ready to exchange - yet the only consistent thing throughout this process has been the complete lack of communication, urgency, and professionalism from this firm.

At every single stage, I have had to chase for updates myself. Not once was I proactively informed about progress, outstanding matters, or next steps. Calls were repeatedly promised and never returned. Emails raising concerns were ignored entirely.

The problems started when my estate agent asked whether I had signed documents that I had never even received. After chasing, I was told they had been posted - yet nothing arrived for over a week. Only after further chasing were the documents finally emailed for me to print myself.

I returned signed scans the same day and posted the originals a couple of days after, which were delivered to the office the following day. Despite this, I was later told they had not had time to review them because other exchanges were taking priority. It seems they are taking on a lot more work than what they can effectively handle.

On multiple occasions I was promised updates or callbacks that simply never happened.

Most concerning was being contacted and warned about supposed upcoming works on the property that I would allegedly be financially liable for - yet no details could be provided regarding the works, costs, or timelines. I was then sent documents dated July 2025 relating to works that, after I investigated myself with the estate agents and sellers, had already been completed and paid for last year. This caused completely unnecessary stress and demonstrated a serious lack of due diligence before alarming a client with inaccurate information.

At this stage, the rest of the chain is waiting solely on my solicitor. After months of delays, constant chasing, poor communication, and misinformation, I can honestly say this has been one of the most frustrating professional service experiences I have ever dealt with.

I would not recommend this firm to anyone purchasing a property if you expect communication, efficiency, or basic client care.
