Correction of previous feedback.
My sincere apologies to the seller.
The cable does seem to work after all, the reason that it did not work at first and that I did not see a measurement with my multimeter was due to a suspected occidenc of the pins in the DIN connector. I carefully sanded it with a nail file and the problem is now solved.

Sorry to hear you were unhappy with your 2nd purchase from us. Our cables are tested and checked before dispatch so if you are having an issue with the cable it's very often something that can be resolved with our customer support. Each of the RGB lines have resistors installed - when checking with a basic continuity tester would likely show no connection due to the resistance.
Unfortunately you've not yet reached out to us for help or assistance regarding the cable, so we'd be more than happy to help you if you contact us via one of our many support channels: email, telephone, Facebook etc. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we'll always do our best to resolve issues.
Regarding the costs - the cable was a BBC RGB cable with stereo audio with £7 postage. When making a purchase from us, customers are informed orders are sent "delivered duties unpaid" (DDU) so there may be additional import costs on arrival in their country. This is controlled by your country unfortunately, and does sound excessive and we're sorry to hear if your country has doubled the original cost.
