From these two original thoughts came the main desire to form Coolshop back in 2003. This was to become the foundation for what is Denmark's largest and now one of Europe’s fasting growing online video game and accessories stores.

Mark one of the co-founders said “if we are big enough, then we can buy in such large quantities that we can skip over several links in the supply chain, thereby achieving significant savings”. Mark was of course right in letting this idea form the backbone of the business. So, since this day we have formed and built on the philosophy, we choose to call The Magic Five Points:

“We would be best on price, service, information, security and selection.” It was therefore natural to choose the Internet as a platform to sell games as this allowed us to offer our lower prices to a much larger and wider audience. Indeed, Coolshop holds over 200,000 games which are ready to dispatch the same day they are ordered.

The Internet has also given us the opportunity to provide more detailed information on our products. From the outset we decided to offer trailers and videos across the entire product range to enhance the shopping experience. We wanted to make shopping with Coolshop easy, fun and informative – most importantly we didn’t just want the experience to be like reading the back of a box in a shop!

Two of the Magic Five Points are service and security. How could we give the user the same comfort as in a normal shop where an assistant is always nearby to lend assistance? Normally it can take days to get the answer to an inquiry via e-mail. The answer was chatting directly with an employee without delay or queue; so we introduced our Live Chat Service. We have built a professional and friendly support team chatting every week with thousands of customers. With a large database of happy customers to back this up - this really is something which has proved to be a great success!

I was so excited to get a steering…

I was so excited to get a steering wheel which isn’t available at my location so i ordered it here on cool shop and I opened the package expecting to see a steering wheel BUT saw a litter box for CATS that’s not even CLOSE to what I ordered

The original TV series 'Roots' arrived…

The original TV series 'Roots' arrived in a nice compact plastic box & all 3 disks look in perfect condition. The reason I'm rating you just 3 stars is because the disks won't play on my blue ray player.
Although clearly aimed for the European market, they must use another format. Have decided to keep the disks, because have discovered that there are a number of multi format blue ray players now on the market. To my knowledge you did not tell potential customers of this likely problem which is a mistake.

Be careful if You are not from DK

That shop operates in Poland in .pl domain, having AI translated descriptions which in the first place are really short and misleading. I didnt receive the product I expected to have basing on the description and photos. All things translated but contact with support is in english, and as expected they dont care. Not worth to return that from Poland to wherever it was sent

I ordered three blu rays from this cool…

I ordered three blu rays from this cool shop site in the past two months and after my third purchase my order was lost during shipping, ive been jumping through hoops for the last week trying to get a refund and they claim according to customer services that ive received my refund when i haven't, ive had no email confirming my refund..but customer services tell me ive received which i haven't...AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS......

Came with the wrong type of plug

Came with the wrong type of plug, so now we’re having to have it re-plugged and we don’t know if it’s gonna be alright to plug into the UK so yeah not very impressed by that

My package was supposed to be delivered…

My package was supposed to be delivered on the 28th it's now the 30th and now the package says it will be delivered tomorrow. My package has been sitting the the same facility since the 26th with no movement. When I contacted customer service they said there's nothing they could do, well maybe they could've prevented this by using any other delivery service instead of helthjem, the absolute worst delivery service in all of Norway. I'm canceling my order and any other preorders I've had with them. Never shall I ever buy from coolshop again.
