Brilliant product and great, friendly service. Not as expensive as I’d feared either - all in all highly recommended!

John loves a mug of tea!!! Or two🤔🤔 but his quality of work is outstanding, and such a lovely chap and a pleasure to let into my home, a very good representation of the company.

The room now feels finished and more homely!! If that makes sense and we have been here 25 years.

The whole purchasing/ordering experience was as easy and pleasant as you could ask for. No hard sell and super supportive in advice as I wanted an odd shaped shutter. The quality of the shutter was top notch and it was supplied before the date promised. I can't fault the Cool Shutters team and would recommend them to anyone.

I am so happy with my pure white shutters. It’s like living in a new house. Everywhere looks bright, clean and minimalistic. They are amazing from the inside and outside. I have even noticed people looking at them when they walk past and it makes me smile.
They are not cheap, but I am so glad I got them. I deserve them :)

We finally had our shutters fitted last week post lockdown. They fit perfectly! Manageable cost, lovely quality, good service - great all round company. I would recommend them.

We have had three window shutters fitted in July 2020, and are really happy with the installed product. Having found the company on Instagram, and in support of the product itself, the negotiations and sale period was refreshingly straight forward and professional. The survey was conducted swiftly and again, professionally, and the customer support and communications leading up to install have been first rate - even during the difficult lockdown period...We would have no hesitation is recommending Cool Shutters to others, and are pleased to support local businesses who are offering a great product and service...

Still awaiting the completion of our shutters, one year on. Date of order was 8 Feb 2019, lead time 14 weeks, due to Chinese New Year... last year! Original fit was 2 July 2019, 5 months from the date of order. John worked tirelessly on the day of fit, on his own until 9.30 pm! But with damaged shutters received, replacement shutters were ordered, which Cool Shutters confirmed did arrive in the UK in December 2019! Refit scheduled for early January 2020 but postponed and now one year on, we wait. Even with COVID-19, we have been very patient. No communication whatsoever from David Waxman, Company Director in a year. David does not take ownership post sales, which does not match the Company Service Promise.

Cool shutters were great! They were recommended to us by a neighbour. It was easy to arrange an appointment to view samples and measure up. We were warned there would be a delay in installation due to covid 19. When I was told the shutters were ready, I was able to get them installed the following week. Matt, who fitted them, was very professional and ensured I was happy with everything before he left.

We ordered shutters from David who offered a very friendly and honest service. My mum wanted them for the two front windows in her bungalow. We had a slight delay due to Covid but they were fitted as soon as possible. They were fitted by John in half a day who offered a friendly and very pleasing job. My mum is absolutely delighted and still finds herself admiring them inside the house and out. They give her a feel of security, privacy and really add to the overall look of her home.
We would totally recommend Cool Shutters for quality, trust and general good service.

This is the second occasion I have used cool shutters over the course of the past 4 years. David the managing director has always been polite and friendly and the price provided has always been very competitive in comparison to other shutter companies. Id also like to add that John who has fitted shutters on both my old and current property really is a credit to the company, he’s a lovely bloke who does a cracking job and the quality of the shutters really can’t be faulted.

Unfortunately the one thing that lets this company down is the customer service or lack there off. On the second occasion of utilising this company’s services I ordered my shutters October of 2019 and was advised that the shutters would take approximately 12 weeks to arrive, this was then extended due to the Chinese New Year and subsequently extended further due to the corona virus pandemic. I appreciate that current events are unprecedented but touching base with customers every few weeks to provide a little reassurance shouldn’t be too much of an ask especially when paying an up front 50% deposit.

At times I genuinely questioned whether or not the company had gone under when phone calls and emails where left unanswered, the onus frequently fell on me to do the chasing in order to get a simple update. When I finally did get through I was often provided with vague and contradictory information which didn’t do much to alleviate my concerns. Only when pressure was applied did the information provided alter from “I don’t know when you’ll be getting your shutters,” too “the shutters have arrived.” Thankfully arrive they did, six months after initially ordering them, at which point the customer service team discovered how to utilise a telephone and requested the remainder of the outstanding balance, this was requested even before John had the opportunity to remove the shutters from there boxes for inspection.

I appreciate that many of the customer service team have been furloughed but I experienced similar customer service issues upon first using the company four plus years ago, sadly it hasn’t improved. Ultimately I’m happy with the product provided and they do look great in my home but the customer service really needs to improve and sadly let’s down an otherwise great little company.

Highly recommend Cool Shutters. Very professional, kept me up-to-date with a delay from the supplier - which was obviously no fault of theirs. Turned up on time, and John who fitted the shutters was very courteous and professional - and left the place spotless despite my puppy trying to eat everything he put down!!

Had my shutters done not to long ago In march 2020 Matthew the fitter was very professional and excellent at his job , my windows look so different and attractive I am waiting for one more shutter obviously with all the virus et cetera what’s going on in the world be a little bit longer I am so impressed with how everything was handled and I am just so happy with them I wish I got them years ago I always put it off but I was never too sure but then again if I got them years ago I would never of got them from Cool Shutters excellent job see you soon
