I booked 2 x adult tickets On Line for a visit to the Colloseum and Forum in Rome for 27th april.
We arrived at the allotted time but were denied entry to the Colloseum as the tickets were both in my name. There had been no where on the Website to enter the name of the second ticket holder.
We were directed to a customer service area but were told that there was nothing that could be done.
I have applied for a refund for une ticket. After receiving one generic email which did not deal with my complaint about both tickets being in my name, i received no further correspondence from the company and have never got my money back.
Shocking Service!
I booked 2 x adult tickets On Line for a visit to the Colloseum and Forum in Rome for 24th February with my husband.
We arrived at the allotted time but were denied entry to the Colloseum as the tickets were both in my name. There had been no where on the Website to enter the name of the second ticket holder.
We were directed to a customer service area but were told that there was nothing that could be done about the name change and we would need to book further tickets and apply for a refund on the original tickets,
We were unable to go another day so on returning home I applied for a full refund for the tickets. After receiving one generic email which did not deal with my complaint about both tickets being in my name, i received no further correspondence from the company and have never got my money back.
Please check the names on your tickets before attending the venue and be reminded that for entry to Colloseum you now need some Photo ID.
Awful website
Awful website, tried about 6 times to book tickets and kept saying payment refused then when I did manage to get some it has charged me twice. Currently have a chargeback request in with my credit card company. Shambles of a site do not use and if u do check u don’t get charged mores than once! Fuming

We when in to the tour the 16/2/24 at 11:10. The English level of the guide (Giovanna ) was nearly to zero. She was talking most the time in italian and she didn't explain nothing about the colosseum . She was running and rushing all time and we didn't see nothing. We are very disappointed for the money spent with this tour operator. I m put one star but i will wish zero.

It's been a long time since I have encountered a website that had so many technical issues. The site is basically unusable. Sometimes screens fail to load. Other times cookie information pop-ups cannot be closed. Frames within a single page fail to render with progress bars that endlessly display.
A few high school students could create a better website in a weekend of work.
Website/booking could be a lot better.
Looked around on the internet and this seems to be the cheapest entry tickets to Colosseum, Palatine and Forum Romanum. The website was a bit hard to navigate, but payment worked fine and I received my tickets in my email just a minute or two after paying. No issues at the Colosseum either when showing our tickets. The prices on the website are same as the price you would pay at the ticket-office at the Colosseum (I checked at the Colosseum). Would give 5/5 if the website was better, but instead I give a 3.5, rounded up to 4. Make sure that the time-slot you book is within the Colosseum opening hours, since the website allows you to book time-slots that are outside of the opening hours (very strange).
DO NOT USE COOPCULTURE. This company is an SCAM
We bought tickets to the Colosseum with underground visit in Rome via this company. CoopCulture does charge extra and takes NO responsibility whatsoever. No guidance or indication of meeting point. We requested a refund as the service was NOT redeem and the Colosseum closed by the time of starting our tour.
In brief, we arrived on time and asked to wait at the meeting point #3 for the underground experience. Our experience was supposed to start at 2:30.
However, after 45 min waiting, no one came to take us to the underground area. We did complain to a young representative who appeared to be under stress and was CLUELESS. By 3:30, we were still waiting at the meeting point. Other people were also in the same situation and complaint. Most of them also bought their tickets via CoopCulture.
Once we could go by ourselves to visit the 1st and 3rd rings, the Coliseum announced they were closing at 3:50.
This is unacceptable. We felt mistreated and had an awful experience. Coopculture responded to a single e-mail saying that the service was redeemed.
Given that we paid Coopculture, we requested a full refund. Coopculture disorganization made us missed visiting the Coliseum as planned. Unfortunately, that was our single opportunity to visit the Colosseum as we are from Canada. We explained that to CoopCulture. They provided NO refund, made money with our purchase and ignored our e-mails.
CoopCulture online presents itself as the official site, but this is misleading. The Chairman of the organization (Adriano Rizzi) did not respond to our request.
Do not waste your time and expectations. If anything goes wrong, CoopCulture takes your money but DO NOT takes responsibility.
Colosseum Underground
Please, please do something to help prevent tour companies from buying all the tickets for the Colosseum Underground tour! I tried 30 days in advance and the tickets were gone immediately. I had to buy an incredibly overpriced, poorly run private tour to see the underground.
Inefficient and corrupt organisation
Inefficient, corrupt and uncaring about customers. This organisation is under investigation for corruption and will soon be replaced, until then avoid at all costs.

does not deserve one star but the site does not allow me to give it zero stars .what absolute con.never come across anything like it .i stood as much chance of getting a ticket as going to the moon for my next weekend break .designed to make you buy the most expensive experience of your life lead by a guide who is going to show you around at the speed of light ,or not be where they are supposed to be ,or cancel at the last moment ! been there done that ,got the t shirt and made a rag out of it afterwards .seriously this is a disgrace not user friendly and not acceptable for a tourist .how about being grateful that the tourist is in rome and how about treating them with bit of respect .
what a joke ...
terrifying experience
I wasted more than an hour trying to buy tickets for the coliseum. A number of tickets quickly appear and then it says “sold out”. Honestly, this looks like a mafia making tourists buy on other and more expensive sites. The Italian government should investigate.
Dreadful
Dreadful, guide in English at Domus Aurea could not make herself understood in English, nobody could understand her, waste of time
Mess
What an unuseful selling system. It is impossible to a quiere a ticket for Colosseum. It is not known which is the hour that the selling tickets opens. There is never availability. However if you try to buy to an unofficial agency, there is always tickets to buy with an increased price. I feel fooled by that company. The authorities must intervene that system.
No Rome Super Passes
Bought the Rome Super Pass. Payment was made. Their website crashed. No tickets emailed. Contacted them by email and on their website. Called my bank to dispute the transaction.
An impossible, chaotic mirage of a website.
An impossible, chaotic, shameful site. Once we got past the promising cosmetics and visuals, it was a living nightmare of frustration:
Over a period of several days we attempted at dozens of moments, at all hours, and through every possible permutation, to get any access to Rome's colesseum at 30 days prior and at any of the levels "offered." It was a constant "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't." It felt like we were being gamed, especially as we were entitled to 2 reduced tickets for our kids. Pure torture.
Website is not functional
Website is not functional, not possible to buy tickets to the collaceium on any of the dates. In theory this is the official website, but it is not functional and there is no physically based office I can visit to get a ticket either. Otherwise there are heaps of people trying to get you to over pay for a non-official group tour. Just very poorly run I expect better for one of the most amazing cultural sites in italy!
Baffling ticket company
I have been reserving timed entry tickets from all over Italy for a trip in the Spring, including the Vatican museum, Uffizi and Academia Galleries & Duomo in Florence, Basilica San Marco and Campanile in Venice and the Milan Duomo and Da Vinci’s Last Supper and Rome’s Borghese Gallery. But the Coopculture website that handles ticketing for the Roman Colosseum, the Forum, Palatine Hill and the Domus Aurea is absolutely the worst ticketing site I have ever dealt with or tried to deal with! Every day I monitor the site to see what is the best time to acquire my needed entry tickets, but available time slots rarely appear at any time even when I try at 1:00 AM. The Italian Ministry of Tourism should be ashamed that they give the responsibility of handling ticketing of these important historical sites to such a flimflam outfit.
It is impossible to buy the complete…
It is impossible to buy the complete experience underground Colosseum tickets - a vendor or tour company must have a program which immediately buys all available tickets. I get in the website as soon as tickets are released but the tickets have either been bought already, or, there are tickets seemingly available but when I try to buy them and put them in my cart I have a message to say tickets are not available. It is the most frustrating experience.
