Coppercoat antifouling - simply the best!
I'm a long-term liveaboard long-distance cruiser, whose boat remains in the water all year round. I've used Coppercoat for about 17 years now, and wouldn't use anything else. Although it seems expensive to buy, it saves a fortune on haulouts and repainting over the years. All my hull needs is a wipe with a sponge and a bucket of water once a year, and an occasional light rub with some sandpaper here and there to reactivate it.
It's important to follow the instructions really carefully: I've seen it applied by "professionals" who cut corners on preparation and finishing, and that affected its performance. Applied properly, no other antifouling comes near.
