Written by the company
Corbeau Seats Ltd was the first motorsport seat manufacturer in the world. The original Corbeau Equip was launched back in 1963 by original owner Colin Folwell. Colin found that standard road seats in his race car did not offer the support nor protection required by the tremendous speeds being produced by race cars at the time. Therefore he developed the first ever race car seat here in East Sussex, where Corbeau Seats still proudly produce road and race seats.

I’ve had a terrible experience with…
I’ve had a terrible experience with Corbeau Seats LTD.
I purchased a seat for my Lotus Elise S2 which was listed on their website as being a direct replacement. When I came to fit it, it wasn’t a direct replacement; two bolt holes didn’t line up and there was no way to fit the seatbelt without modification to my original car which I am not willing to carry out for a product sold as being a direct replacement.
I emailed them right away but their reply wasn’t particularly helpful and they didn’t want to take much responsibility for this, so I asked to return the seat for a full refund. I carefully packaged up the seat and paid for return postage out of my own pocket. It has now been over two weeks since the seat arrived with them and any emails I’ve sent since asking for my refund have been ignored.
So they still have a substantial amount of my money, the seat and are now deciding to ignore me. One of the worst online buying experiences I’ve had.
Great service and product
For me Corbeau is an old trusted name from the 70's into 80's when we were bolting bucket seats into everything. This time I just needed an inflatable lumbar adjuster to install in my BMW X3 seats..I could have bought cheaper elsewhere but knowing Corbeau's involvement with racing preferred to fit one of theirs. It wasn't expensive and is perfect for the job, I was not about to try and save £15 on a cheaper product for it to fail. This item is great value for money, arrived on time, good service all round!!
Bit mixed
Easy to order. After the initial confirmation email had no communication from them whatsoever. But the seats arrived (albeit with no warning) and they were exactly what I wanted, and a huge improvement on the 1984 versions, which smelled like 42 years of use.
If I'm honest. I'm not entirely sure that the standard of finish is absolutely first rate. They were a complete pig to fit but that's part of the fun of adapting new for the old.

Ordering on the website was quick and easy to use and function ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Communication and easy ability to track my order from the time of purchase till it arriving to my door ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In all the other possibilities I would like abit more corbeau stamping on the harnesses. But that’s personal preference.
Highly impressive quality
Easy to fit instruction
Certified paperwork was a nice touch
Will be back for more goodies in the near future
Corbeau Pro Sport
Overall had a very quick service for ordering and receiving the seats within a week to two weeks. Very happy with the seats themselves and look very good in the car, overall very comfortable for a bucket seat which I was unsure what to expect.
very fast service
Good Product but Beware the Shipping
Beware the Shipping via DHL e.commerce which significantly spoilt my Corbeau product buying experience. It started well with a visit to the Corbeau premises to decide which seats to buy. A nice showroom area and very helpful staff made that easy. Put in an online order and it was ready for despatch in a couple of days. Good communication though this phase. It then went badly. DHL collected the seats and advised a delivery date but then later cancelled that date and indicated I should expect it the following working day. Nothing arrived. There was no service problem indicated on their website. Emails to their customer services drew a total blan even beyond their stated turnaround time! There was an option to collect from a 'local' depot, so in desperation I drove there to collect the (obviously) large box. That worked ok and thankfully the seats were not damaged. Having been satisfied with DHL in the past when used by other suppliers, I was very surprised by this appalling service. But online search suggests that my poor experience of the (seemingly low cost/budget) DHL e.commerce product isn't unusual. I guess I've been used to the more premium delivery services DHL offer. Surely Corbeau should be using one of these instead as it's more in keeping with the price points of their seats?
Perfect
Ordering is easy and seats came well packaged.
Staff were friendly and easy to deal with on any questions I had.
Seats are well built and fitted perfectly.

Amazing company with amazing products
They have my money and ghosted me.
Ordered seats for my MX5, I was given a lead time of 3 weeks.
9 weeks have passed, I have sent multiple emails, no response. I dont have my seats, they have my money, and now they are ghosting me.
They seem like a legit company but ignoring an email from a paying customer for an order that is 6 weeks overdue is nothing but scammy behaviour.
Great seats
Great seats, work well.
Only down side was delivery with DHL. 3 days to redeliver, after not bothering to get out of his van and read the sign on door to leave with my neighbour.
Responses to email are too slow
I don't speak english, my only way to communicate with you is in writing. Responses to email are much too slow : one week without a answer !
