Friendly company to deal with. I was looking for windows for my house in Glasgow within 3-4 weeks and they were able to accommodate.

When in need of having new windows fitted, it is important to choose wisely. There is a lot of dishonesty in the industry, especially regarding the leading companies. We interviewed a number of contractors before finding the one we were satisfied with and we learned a lot in the process.
One of the leading establishments quoted us 100% above their competitors’ rates. They waxed lyrical of course about the superior quality of their windows, even though they were only double-glazed, same as the others we looked at. However, they said they would enlist us in a window recycling scheme, which will reduce the cost by about 25% (so the final cost was still 50% above the others’). Only thing is, no such scheme exists and this is a commonly use marketing ploy, as a simple Google search will show and as other contractors whom we asked confirmed.

Another company’s quote was somewhat higher than average, but they said that for an extra 12% of the price they will give us windows with an additional layer of special coating that will greatly increase their thermal isolation (a so-called U-value). A demonstration was given where the representative blasted a beam of heat from an infrared lamp through a normal window versus through one with the mentioned low-e coating. When we held our hands on the other side of the glass, the latter did a great job of not letting any heat through, while we were able to feel the full glare of the lamp through the former. This seemed like a no-brainer, and for only 12% of the final cost, a great deal for such a big difference in isolation. However, as it turns out, all modern windows come with a low-e coating. In other words, we were given the opportunity to pay extra for something they would’ve given us for free.

Following Trustpilot’s policy we cannot name any of the above companies here. All I can say is that there are also decent and honest contractors around, and Core Windows are one of them. We are very happy with our new windows and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Had visit from Colin to discuss options and what was wanted. Was a pleasure to talk to and understand. There was no confusion and everything was explained.l clearly. Paid deposit.
The door taken a while to come because of the colour i had chosen (Chartwell green). This was not a problem for me. In between times a very nice gentleman appeared to take measurements.
Phone call that door had arrived and arranged a day (yesterday) for job to be done. The man who did the measurements appeared yesterday along with another man to do the job. Both men were also great to deal with and talk to. Super nice. They did the job in a couple of hours. Hassle free and a beautiful job. Also noted they left zero mess. All that was left behind was a georgous door. I feel very happy in fact its gave me a bit of a boost as the door is beautiful (I went for a kingfisher pattern) and not over priced either. Thank you Core! I would gladly use again.

We needed to replace some of our windows on the back elevation of the house & Core Windows & Doors were recommended by a neighbour of ours.

From start to finish the process was straightforward and hassle-free. Windows were manufactured quickly and fitted by the expert and friendly team.

We can already feel the difference in the rooms that have had the windows replaced (they were 13 years old and a bit drafty).

Will use these guys again in future and would 100% recommend to others.

Impeccable service from our first appointment all the way through to the fitting. Our whole house needed new windows (some of which required different cills etc) and every detail was covered. The fitters were true professionals and as well as leaving the place pristine, gave me updates during every stage of the house.

I had Joey round for a quote just before Christmas and thought he was a great help at choosing the correct composite door.
The door was fitted a couple of days ago, great job by the joiners and it has really helped keep the cold out compared to our old draughty uPVC door.

Recently I had new windows and doors done at my office and workshop and was very pleased. It was done in the timescale I was told, the price was very competitive and I am very happy with the finished product and Joe was on hand for any questions I had

Joe from Core came out as our door lock wasn't working - didn't know if it was repairable or if I needed a new door. He changed the lock the same day and told me I did not need a new door which I thought was extremely honest of him and all done at a very reasonable price.

Joseph and his team did an amazing job replacing 4 windows in one day, just like he promised. From the beginning, he was really flexible, helping me adjust the payments and making the whole process less stressful. He always kept me updated, and it was clear he cared about doing things right.

The team worked quickly, kept everything clean, and now I’m enjoying my new windows. I’m so happy with the result and grateful for how smooth everything went. I definitely recommend Joseph if you need reliable and honest help with your home!
