No one cares for the customer. During Covid it was GREAT
During Covid it was GREAT! But I didn’t realize that I was on an auto renew @$99/year. Fast forward 2 years of not having any activity on the account I just noticed an auto renewal message.
I followed instructions to stop auto-renew about could remove my CC in the payment section.
I realize it’s on me to have ‘cancelled’ but I didn’t see any messages previously
Contacted them via the app (only way to do so) and Whoo hoo. Getting an $8 credit - can you imagine my frustration. That’s it from over $200 in 2 years with 0 usage and I get $8 because it’s so close to my renewal date. The customer service rep Sofia says no need for upper management as they are all trained and the same answer regardless of escalation. Feel this was a very poor customer experience
I am even more upset now and will never ever ever recommend Cornershop regardless of the situation.
And now they are part of Uber - so not even sure I’d stick with Uber or Uber Eats.
Wow an $8 credit - biggest joke (I know, my bad, and it’s on me, but suggest if you have ever registered with Cornershop - pay special attention to these auto-renewal).
I don’t believe anyone at Cornershop actually cares about the customer. Buyer/Subscriber BEWARE
