A wonderful paint
A wonderful paint. Painted a terracotta flower pot. One coat would have sufficed but used two give a bit depth to the colour. And the colour (Blue Lobster) is stunning. Could not be more pleased.
Ordered paint charts 8 weeks ago
Update: Placed original order 14/07, left below review 14/08, received email 2 days later apologising for delay saying their systems had been down due to a hacking attempt and that they would process orders asap. Fair enough, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Received a further email 27/08 to say order finally dispatched. It is now 10/09 and we have still not received the order. I appreciate it’s only a low value order for paint charts, but that’s not the point, they still have our money & we haven’t received the goods promised after more than 8 weeks. Their paints look beautiful but I’m afraid there’s no way we’ll be ordering any now, a real shame.
Original review:
Ordered paint charts a month ago, payment taken and order confirmed. Received an email 2 days later to apologise for delay in dispatching order, would be sent out the following day. That’s the last I’ve heard from them. I have emailed 3 different email addresses, all bounce back undeliverable. There is no phone number to call. Their paints look beautiful, ethics seem great, but I’m afraid the customer service has let them down badly. Reading other recent reviews, I’m just pleased I didn’t actually order and pay for paint yet. Love to support small, ethical businesses but, this time sadly, we will have to take our business elsewhere.
Placed an order on 21st July
Placed an order on 21st July, with a confirmation via automatic email. However my email to them bounced back when contacted to ask about status of delivery, and my message on Instagram has been ignored too. This has messed up our renovation timeline. All my previous experiences had been extremely positive so I wanted to give benefit of the doubt… but a month with payment taken but no delivery or communication is shocking.
Update: after I posted this, I had a response via Instagram. I was promptly refunded. The response claimed that there had been issues with website and email… I feel that the responsible thing to do in that case is advertise the ongoing issues on the website or whatever socials were available, rather than leave multiple customers without a reply for weeks.
No delivery, no communication
Order placed 2 weeks ago. Not received items. No reply to emails. Never again.
I was recommended cornish mineral paint…
I was recommended cornish mineral paint to try, love the finish and just love the shades, l enjoy painting old house wood furniture, garden pots, anything, just love it no priming or top coat, just love it that's all.

Love the mineral paint and its range of colours. I appreciate the quick delivery of the product, as well.
Highly pigmented and unique colours
The paint is easy to work with, and can achieve the look of those featured in an magazine.
Terrible service
Terrible service! My paint was delivered to the wrong address. Having sent several emails I still have not had a reply from Cornish Paint to either reimburse me or replace my order.

I ordered a colour card which cost £3.50 and it said it’s on its way 7 days later I received it with a second class stamp not great service
Varnish stripper
Easy to use varnish and paint stripper. My go to paint stripper. Works quickly with little scraping effort and no harmful fumes.
A part delivery email notification…
A part delivery email notification without timescales for the missing item.
Offer of a small apology gift for the inconvenience never materialised.
I appreciate Cornish Milk Paint may describe themselves as a small company in the paint world however I am a much smaller business and the impact of the delay on my business was huge.
Colour guide chart
Prompt delivery after ordering new colour chart.
Chart is clear and a true colour guide as individual colours are painted pieces rather than printed !
Useful colour charts.
The colour charts are perfect to select the shade you want but there are sooo many gorgeous colours to choose from I’ll definitely be buying more and more paint! I’m really pleased the charts are out at last.
Don’t buy from them
Don’t buy from them, they must be scammers. I ordered a tin of paint, didn’t arrive. I tried to reach out through their multiple emails (every website or app they are in list a different email…) all bounced back. In my last one I told them I will start a dispute to get my money back, that one bounced back as well. I will now submit this review. Will they see it and reach out? Let’s see…
Not one of my emails was responded to
Not one of my emails was responded to. The .uk is missing from the address on the website. The hello@cornishmineral paint just bounces back as does the info@cornidhmineralpaint. There is no other way of contacting the company. My order did finally turn up. But l have no faith if l ordered more it would. Not having a point of contact leaves no faith in the company. Such a shame as the product is good.
