i believe financial courses could be explained more simply for example by providing examples like you teaching a kid to help clarify the underlying concepts and terminology
on the other hand the excel courses were excellent and very enjoyable

Rating: 9.9/10!. The courses in the PF&A certification are very engaging and well structured; you genuinely learn useful and practical tools that can be applied in real situations. I recommend removing or updating the AI course within the certification, as it is outdated and its added value is not clear.

Above Expectations
The FMVA program has given me a very decent introduction to the financial profession although coming from an engineering one.
I knew how good was the program after I found myself answering financial interview questions on TikTok.
However, the program update forced me to retake some courses. Also I felt some of the content a little bit repetitive.
Overall the experience was above my expectations.
A big thank to everyone at CFI.

They go beyond the numbers!
What made my experience with this course so amazing is that they go beyond the numbers. They showed how important is communication, stakeholders management and ethics. What made my experience great is that the courses are well structured and I followed the sequence of the recommended sequence of doing the courses which was very helpful because the list was progressive.It made the course easier because at first I was confused on which course to take first but the recommended list helped me a lot.
Additionally, the concepts and skills were well explained and demonstrated which was evident that the lecturers were well knowledgeable.

Great Learning Experience for Building Real Skills Overall a great experience.
Detailed, well-structured videos.
- Granular exams per micro-course, followed by a comprehensive exam after completing all modules.
- Interactive exams, such as drag and drop, enhance engagement.
- Content covers best practices that many professionals tend to skip.
- Explains the "why" and "how" behind each concept very well. For a non-finance person, this course was a game changer for me.
- Highly recommended for professionals with 0–4 years of experience; the skills are functional and can be applied immediately on the job.
One caveat: if your goal is to signal prestige or status, this isn't the certificate for that. CFI is perfect for actually learning the skill, not credential signaling.

Auto renewal, be aware, no refund
The company I worked for reimbursed us for this service. I didn't know it was auto renewal. So when I stopped working, I got charged anyway. I emailed about it, they said they send out a reminder before it renews, but it goes to junk mail.
Be aware of their shady practice with subscription which they do not refund.
