HAVEN ON THE LAKE WARNING: Hazardous Living Conditions & Gross Negligence
Management abandons their Duty of Care even in life-or-death crises. Do not risk your health or safety by living here. Management’s total failure to maintain a safe, habitable environment.
​Documented Violations:
​Health Hazards: Management ignored physician-documented mold and smoke infiltration that caused significant medical complications.
​Biohazards & Fire Risk: Severe hoarding and squalor in neighboring units were left unaddressed, creating pest infestations and life-safety hazards.
​Gross Negligence: Most alarmingly, management refused to use their Right of Entry or contact authorities during a potential life-safety emergency involving an incapacitated person. I was forced to call 911 myself while the office chose inaction.
​Breach of Safety: The volatile environment and refusal to enforce safety protocols created a pervasive atmosphere of fear.

By far the worst booking I have ever experienced. The house we rented for three nights had not been touched after the previous guests left. Sheets were unwashed, the floor had visible dirt, dust had accumulated and been untouched for weeks, dead moths were falling out of a light, orange mildew was growing in one of the toilets. They advertised a house as a four bedroom when it is a three bedroom. You can't call, they'll ignore the call and request you text them. They didn't want to talk to me until I got VRBO support involved. They then proceed to blame me for the filth of the house. If you read the way they respond to reviews you can tell they have a blame the guest attitude and poor culture to their company. Always cross reference a company. Just dont book through them, ever.

Let me start off by saying The world we live in don’t care about nothing but money.
When we first got to the airbnb we couldn’t get in. When we Reach out to the management company noone answered the phone. We got a text message saying only text , which is crazy bc we’re in the middle of the hood.A stranger off the street had to pop the lock on the gate in order for us to get in. It was real nice inside can’t lie about that. Within the first couple of hours a tornado hit which knocked out the power. we didn’t have a candle nor flash lights so for two days we’re in the dark until the owner of the property got us two flash lights for 6 people. We had to go to Walmart to get tissue paper towel grill charcoal, and a cooler by the way I need my money back . So I asked The management company could they put us in a hotel due to the power and the water was cold . Long story short I told them I was going to leave a bad review and I cussed a little that we had to leave the property immediately! Mind you we’re in the middle of a storm and we already made a payment to lodge at this house . Issued me 1000 refund which take a couple of days to get back to my account . This management company suck a**!

It’s a scam! You can not call the number , only text them. I think I texted 6 different numbers and didn’t hear back from anyone

Fast response, open for communication and an open mindset. The customer stands on the first place.

Don’t believe the 5-star reviews on Booking.com or other websites about properties managed by Corphousing. We lost our accommodation, which we booked 5 months in advance, and had to cancel our long-awaited trip.

I received a chat message from Corphousing on Booking 48 hours before our trip, saying that they had to cancel our accommodation. They asked me to email them on the same day with a promise to help find another accommodation. They also said that they would not look at the Booking.com chat for urgent relocation issues, and that I absolutely had to email them.

Long story short, I emailed them, and got an immediate response but then radio silence, with the deadline for a free cancellation from Booking getting closer and closer.

I didn’t feel good about the whole situation, so I complained to Booking.com and got a refund. My friend and I lost our vacation, but it could’ve been much worse: we could’ve been stranded in a city we don’t know well, stuck with paying a lot of money for another hotel on top of what we had already paid.

CorpoHousing / SoBeNY are scammers. They scam people via Booking.com Stay away from them and from Booking.com They will cancel your stay 2 days before and not return money they charged.

The Hotel was a lovely stay for a great price! I enjoyed my time her very much. Genitha especially was so helpful and sweet! Great service!

Horrible company. They've scammed hundreds of people out of thousands of dollars. Look at the 1 star reviews here and on BBB. My son asked me to write this to share our experience at his graduation. We visited Boston in late May this year, and they cancelled right when we were heading over, right after he picked up his diploma. We had to pay a lot of money to find another place to stay, and we lost time to see the city with him. Even a full refund would not make up for that.

edit: My son also mentioned that they offered to give 3 free nights to all the 1 star reviews here, then they removed those replies a few days later. Their website is also not working and they have no phone number. This is an extremely shady company that nobody should risk their money with.

Got incredible support and help when we had to relocate to another accommodation because of the previous accommodation being cancelled. No additional costs added and we didn’t even have to provide with additional information or documents.

Do not book with them. They took our payment and did not give a refund when they canceled. Many FAKE 4 & 5 star reviews!!

Booked & paid in July 2021 for an accommodation in Boston on May 26-30, 2022 (graduation weekend) with Corporate Housing via Booking.com. Corporate Housing cancelled the reservation at approximately 5pm on May 26, 2022 (after the check-in time of 3pm). Our group was forced to frantically search for new accommodations at high prices instead of enjoying our time in Boston.

As others have noted, Corporate Housing appears legitimate through endorsement by Booking.com and quick response times prior to the stay, including on the day of the stay. However, immediately after the cancellation, Corporate Housing stopped responding. It is also impossible to speak with anyone from Corporate Housing on the phone – the phone number just directs you to send an email. Corporate Housing has stated multiple times that a refund will be provided, but it has not yet been provided 2.5 months later, despite having provided banking information. Given the similar experiences by many others, a class action lawsuit does not seem unreasonable.

I really liked this hotel, the experience was very nice I would definitely recommend :)

My partner booked a birthday trip for me and the Astor was a lovely stay! Cute decor, sweet staff and so many restaurants and attractions within a short walk!

I'd give this company a zero star rating if I could!!
Chose and booked in January Close to Rose Kennedy in Boston for 4 nights in June. They debited my account straight away for the full total of the booking.
Fast forward to April and I get a message from booking.com to say the hosts had cancelled. I've been trying to get my money refunded ever since with no joy. The Company say it's been an error with booking.com and it's them that have cancelled. The company said they could still host us. I wasn't taking the risk and had already booked alternative accommodation.
Now the company are ignoring my emails after initially blaming some payment process for not working to refund me. Then asked me for my bank details to refund the money. I wouldn't even trust them again.
I've been going round in circles between the company and booking.com trying to get this resolved. Has anyone had any luck with refunds?
For anyone thinking of booking any of their properties...... Don't waste your time or money. Massive scam springs to mind. $570 may not be a lot to them, but it is to me. And I see other people have been scammed out of even more money than I have. It's a disgrace that they are still trading!!!
I also emailed corporate housing and they said the booking was nothing to do with them. Even though it was their name that appeared on my card payment.

****Also take a look at all the recent positive reviews being left for both SOBENY and Corporate Housing. No doubt another part of the scam to raise their score after so many negative reviews from REAL CUSTOMERS!!!*****

Service of Corporate housing was really briliant and very helpfull. They arranged very good accomodation for me since my previous one was cancelled. Was even better than the one I had. Thanks :)
