I bought a Mickey Mouse costume from them and the head had glue spots on it and the fabric was so worn you could see through it. Do not buy anything from this company. Especially since it will cost you $70 to return ship it for a refund. I even sent them pictures of the defects to them. They obviously do not inspect anything before sending it out. This is a really dishonest company. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered a costume, they guaranteed MAX 12 days for creating and 7 days for delivery. I contacted after 20 days to ask for update. They said sorry for delay and they would ship the next day. then next day PayPal contacted me that they cancelled and refunded my order. They didn't even have the guts to tell me they couldn't finish my order. they just cancelled a day after promising delivery was to occur. Terrible company. They cancelled 4 days before Halloween, screwing me over for the holiday after I gave them a month to fulfill my order. AVOID at all costs.

Placed order almost a month ago and I have heard nothing from the company. They ignored multiple emails I sent and I even paid for the expedited shipping. They took my money immediately and clearly processed my order. Would never do business with this company again. Now I am in process of trying to get my money back

Don't order from CosplaySky!!! They advertise fast shipping and 12 day processing but I placed an order with them (and paid for expedited shipping) on September 25th for one of the costumes advertised on their "fast shipping" list, communicated with them when I needed it by (tomorrow, October 21) and it still hasn't even shipped yet. On top of that they have ignored the 2 emails I have sent them over the past 3 days and haven't provided any reasoning for why this is. What an awful way to handle customer service, I am not usually that person but this is ridiculous.

So, I ordered a costume from here 2 months ago, that 1) I never received. I had to put an inquiry in and 2) was never contacted about the outcome or even sent a replacement. I still have not receieved the costume. Terrible service, really. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Product quality and delivery time (from China) were both reasonable. Their return policy, however, is unacceptable: They ask you to return ship to China, which is cost-prohibitive and they even go as far as suggesting you should try and re-sell the product yourself. In my book that practice is unacceptable for doing business in the US.

I had just ordered A John Sheppard Uniform Stargate Atlantis jacket...the order came very quickly...but nothing on the jacket matched what they had posted images of on their website. The storm flap on the right zipper was not there..the cuffs on both sleeves of the jacket were suppose to have Velcro closures..and the team insignia panels were not correct size and didnt look correct so much so that my 5 year old noticed the difference.
The material is what I kind of expected...it was basically a suit jacket that had been modified to try and match the screen used one. The most bothersome part of the jacket was the shoulder pads...this jacket was only $85 less than an accurate one made from the same materials and jacket MGM most likely used on set. When spending that much with CosplaySky i would have expected more...but I guess Not. When contacting them they told me they had changed the design of the jacket to what I got from what they have posted on their site and they never updated the pictures.
For those wanting this go somewhere else and or find the tutorial and buy the items and make yourself if you are comfortable with a sewing machine.

I've always had a good experience with CosplaySky, but please be sure to keep in mind that the price you pay is what you're getting. The items are not 100% high quality, but are very passable and would mostly be noticeable to those who are on the intermediate/advanced levels of sewing.

I must also give this warning: PLEASE ORDER YOUR COSTUME A FEW MONTHS PRIOR TO ANY CONS YOU PLAN TO GO TO. This is very important since CosplaySky has a very odd schedule of processing and shipping. It varies constantly and by planning beforehand, you'll be able to resolve issues of being prepared with a costume for the con.

My first experience was buying an Atsushi Nakajima costume way back in early 2016. The package arrived on time and everything given to me was functional. The shirt didn't fit me, but I had a spare formal shirt found in a thrift store and wore that, instead. Though, after a year or two, the sewing for the costume deteriorated after awhile. Meaning, the threads were coming out, etc. even though I've only worn the costume twice.

I will admit that there were times where my package hasn't arrived during the dates it said it would arrive. For example, I ordered a Yuri Plisetsky costume, the one with the tiger sweater, and it didn't come in for almost two months. I saw the status in "processing" and because I've ordered at least three times before, I found it bizarre they were slow with this one costume. I contacted them with my concerns and within a day or two, they told me that they would urge the processing department to complete the costume. Within three days, they shipped it and I got my package. Everything in it was very well done.

And when I couldn't track a package, I contacted them wondering which shipping service would send my package to me. Within a day, they told me which shipping service had my package and I was happy to know where my product was. They often switch from DHL, UPS, and other services.

I will admit that when I ordered my 2B costume, it wasn't the prettiest. I ordered both the costume and the boots. They shipped it out pretty fast since the boots were ordered with it (Anything ordered with shoes, by the way, is shipped out really fast. This also happened with my Yuri Plisetsky [RUSSIA JACKET] cosplay). The costume looked decent but it didn't fit me and the boots... weren't very good. I will admit that CosplaySky is not the best when it comes to boots.

However, when it comes to regular shoes, they make the most beautiful foot area and soles. Even the boots had pretty soles and a beautiful foot area. Though the material for the leg area was absolutely terrible. The zipper was located in a bizarre area and it wasn't a very good place to put a zipper. The material for my leg was so puffy and didnt outline my legs at all. Luckily, my sister likes to sew, and she was eager to fix the boots (they're absolutely gorgeous now!). We kept the soles, of course. They were nicely done.

For the costume, however, I had to check up on their policy about returns. IF the company has messed up your "CUSTOM" size, they are willing to compensate you for free and alter it for you. BUT, if the sizing does not fit you and you ordered the wrong size, the only thing at this point is to tell them that you ordered the wrong size and willing to reorder with their 20% discount. Because I ordered without giving custom sizes, I explained everything to them, and they graciously replied with the discount. Since I reordered giving my custom sizes, the costume completely fits me.

Once again, their sewing is NOT THE BEST. It's average and could have a little more work. But if you're just trying to dress up, have a good time at the con without worrying too much about how you look, and don't want to do all the sewing: CosplaySky's a good spot.

Though I understand not every experience is the same for every person, the most important thing is to try to be as civil as possible. If the experience has become too sour, it's certainly fine to dislike a service. I only wanted to put up my review to let people know that CosplaySky CAN be a great service.

My biggest advice is for people to plan early and be polite as possible when contacting the company. I've never once ordered a costume a month/few weeks prior to a con/event nor have I ever busted into their contact e-mail and write an email filled with rage.

If they've done something wrong, tell them your order number and get very detailed about the issue you're having while being polite. Their English is not the best, but the people certainly want to do their best.

TLDR: I would recommend Miccostumes over cosplaysky any day. Poor quality control and even poorer customer service

Long version:
I ordered a wig, dress, and boots for 2B from nier automata. As I was unzipping the boots to try them on the zipper itself actually broke in half. The way the zipper is positioned this makes the shoe completely unwearable unless I tear out the zipper and replace it myself.
The dress was not terrible, but the fit was very off and it required extensive modification and was not true to the listed measurements for the size.
The wig was a standard Cosplay wig and I have no complaints about it.
The reason that I am writing this review is that it took 22 days for my order to process, I was traveling when the package was delivered to my leasing office and I picked it up when I returned a few days later. I did not attempt to try the cosplay on immediately but waited a few days. This is when the boots broke.
When I contacted their customer service they advised me that their window for returns/notification of a defective product is only SEVEN DAYS. Their only attempt at fixing the situation was to offer me ten dollars and to say I could pay a local tailor to fix the boots...
As I purchased this cosplay specifically for an upcoming event I have since had to rush order a new pair of boots from a more reputable seller so they will be here in time for the con.
Also I did try the boots on after the fact and they were made of such a thick and unflexible material they are practically unwearable even if they had not broke. Do not order from cosplaysky.com

Honestly one of the worst sites I've ever bought from. I had never bought a costume in my life and wanted to try cosplaying for the first time. I saw the site. It looked good. Well presented and the pictures for the outfits looks nice. I thought they were a legitimate business that operated with morals. I was so wrong....

I ordered a Green Arrow Costume which i wanted to wear to a convention in London called MCM. I mulled over whether to get it fitted as I felt like If I'm going to do this properly I might as well get it looking great. I paid extra for fitting and for express delivery. On the website I was told I should be it within 3 weeks. I messaged them in-between to see what was happening to my order. No replies. Fine maybe they are busy I thought.

It doesn't come in time for MCM. Fine I thought, maybe for the next con. As long as it looks good. I paid 273 pounds in total for the outfit... a lot of money. When I finally receive it I open it thinking this will be amazing. I notice straightaway it's not even GREEN! It's oversized and has metal studs all over like a fetish costume. Turns out they didn't bother to read what I wanted. What makes it worse they sent an invoice saying COSTUME SAMPLE twenty dollars! That annoyed me so much!! They just took my money and didn't give a damn.

I emailed them. No replies obviously as that actually requires effort on their part to reply. I bought it via Paypal so i set-up a dispute to claim my money back. Oh and guess what they finally decide to respond then!

I get an email from Cosplay sky starting with 'Dear please understand'... hugely professional as you can see and they try and barter with me saying the materials and labour and time costs and that the most they can offer is 40 percent back. I decline saying they sent me the wrong suit, it's not fitted and it's like ordering a pizza and getting back jelly. They say most they can do is 60% and I should be understanding. I decline and want my full money back.

So Paypal instruct me to send the package back to them. I take it down to my local post office who weigh it and tell me the cheapest place they can find to send it back to China is for £50! Since the parcel weighs over 2 kilos it's more expensive. I think whatever, I'll pay 50 pounds and get my 270 pounds back. I write the details that Paypal provided correctly for the address and tell the courier I want to know when it's arrived.

I ended up going to Wales for a few days and when I returned to check my Paypal I find my complaint has been dismissed as the package did not make it back to the seller! I check the tracking info and see that it reached Shanghai China. It was abandoned in the warehouse due to a lack of phone number. I can't now get a refund as the package is lost and I have in total spent around 350 pounds....

So yeah a few tips from someone who got burnt:
1) Don't trust Cosplay Sky too much headache. Be mindful of their good reviews I think most are just fake.
2) Ensure you get a telephone number and write it on the parcel along with the address
3) I relied on my tracking company to inform me if they needed any details. They didn't so track the package yourself online and check the emails Paypal sends regularly regarding the status of your complaint and any info needed.
4) I hope this never happens to you!

We found this company to be horrible. Rude staff were the worst. My partner had ordered his costume for our cosplay themed wedding. We paid a small fortune for 2 day shipping and the company sent it 7 days. It didn't arrive for the wedding. We contacted them and got a terse reply. Do not use these people,

I've ordered a L size, but it seems to be a XL size (or even more...)
Moreover, the sleeves of the jacket were dirty and one of the accessories is not as shown in the picture.
Never again.

Is it possible to give this company 0 stars? I would if I could! I ordered a "Fat Suit" for my son on 11/21. Today is 12/16 and I still have not received it. The shipping tracker online stops after 11/22 and when I email the company they tell me to contact my local post office to see where the package is. The package never shows it leaving overseas. I told them I wanted my money back and they offered me 8.00, which is not what I paid for my product. The CS rep said they have no way of knowing if I didn't get the package so that is why they can't refund me. The tracker clearly shows it never made it.

Oh, and the grammar in the emails leads me to believe this company is overseas and fraudulent. Save your money people and DO NOT order from this company!!!!!

I ordered a Star Trek uniform to my measurements but when it came they added on a few inches everywhere.
After I sent them photos they asked if I could send it back to get it altered. The postage to send it back was a lot and there was no way a seamstress around me could alter it without costing the same price as buying a new one.
They agreed to make a new one to my measurements when I paid the postage cost for the new one.

It is a very high quality but of sewing, the jacket has lining with a pocket inside as asked so I could keep my phone in it at conventions. They also changed the design slightly so it was more like the ones on the to show.
I also got them to remove the pockets from the trousers so they sit flat like tailored women's trousers. -looks more like the female voyager uniform.
The colour of the red material is different from the other one I recived so if you're looking to get a perfect colour match to fit in with a group it's unlikely unless you specifically ask.

I am incredibly happy with the second Star Trek uniform. I would think about ordering some other costumes but I am put off by my first experience. However they can make costumes to the right measurements. I'm not sure why they add a margin for error when given true measurements.
