If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My recent international move with this #costalogistics turned into a full-blown nightmare from start to finish.
To begin with, their packing team seemed to have no idea what “professional packing” even means. Several pieces of my furniture arrived broken, along with multiple decoration items shattered beyond repair. It was painful to open each box and discover the damage.
The misinformation around charges was unbelievable. What was quoted upfront suddenly changed once my shipment was already in transit — mysterious add-ons, unexplained “handling fees,” and last-minute demands that felt nothing short of dishonest.
And as if the shock wasn’t enough, one of my most valued belongings — an expensive cricket bat — simply vanished during the move. No explanation. No accountability. Just gone.
The chaos continued when they mixed up my boxes and even delivered someone else’s items to me. Imagine expecting your household essentials and instead receiving things that don’t even belong to you. Completely unacceptable.
But the worst, most frustrating part? Not a single response after payment. No calls answered, no messages returned, no updates — nothing. The moment they got the money, they disappeared.
Now that I’m looking at other reviews, I wish I had seen the red flags earlier. Many people went through the same disaster, and unfortunately, I’ve learned it the hard way.
My honest advice: Do not use this company unless you’re ready to experience the worst nightmare of your moving life. Their service is careless, unprofessional, and utterly unreliable.
UNRELIABLE AND DECEPTIVE - Caused Immense Stress & Financial Deception. DO NOT USE.
I used Costa Logistics for two moves: one domestic within Lahore, and one international from Lahore to Houston. Both were catastrophic failures, making this the worst moving experience of my life.
1. Domestic Move (Lahore): Our domestic move was a complete disaster. The packing was the most disorganized and careless I have ever seen. The team created utter chaos, resulting in many of our items being broken and damaged upon arrival with our losses exceeding multiple times the cost we paid. After several discussions with Costa, they did nothing about our loss.
2. International Move: The international move was where Costa Logistics transitioned from incompetent to outright deceptive. From the very beginning, 4 months before the move, I stressed to manager Zeeshan that I required full transparency on all charges. I explicitly told him I wanted no surprises, as I was aware other companies hide costs. He assured me of complete honesty. This was a lie. Zeeshan and Costa Logistics intentionally hid $900 in destination charges from me. He knew about these fees all along and deceptively withheld this critical information until the last possible moment, holding my container hostage until I paid in a frenzy. When I confronted him, he first lied, claiming the charges were going to the port. However, I obtained direct evidence—an email he sent to the US agent—instructing them to collect the $900 from me and return it to Costa Logistics. This is not a misunderstanding; this is a scheme to defraud customers.
3. Terrible Packing and Logistics: The poor service extended to their core job. The packing was terrible. We received boxes that had completely disintegrated during transit. Many boxes were mislabeled or had incorrect descriptions, making the unpacking process a nightmare and indicating a total lack of quality control.
Costa Logistics is an unreliable and dishonest company. They are incapable of executing a simple move without causing damage and chaos, and they will deliberately deceive you financially. The stress and financial loss they caused my family are unforgivable.
I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.
