The only reason I ordered another pair was because they wouldn't repair any of my old pair even if I paid to have them repaired. I have a pair that are 12 years old and another that is 7 years old and both have been great but need repair. Hopefully, parts are made available for the new pair.

Horrible experience ! Sunglasses stay in my truck blacked out tint , put them on one day and the frame fell apart . Tried to warranty them they refused to warranty saying its not a defect . The frames always break very cheap product do not waste your money buy Oakley or something obviously better Quality. And I did call and had it looked into still refused to warranty the defective glasses . The sun dried out the frames and they fell apart , that's cheap product .

Great lenses and frames. BEWARE of their replacement lenses. I ordered two replacements and one of them was very cloudy - makes me think there's no quality inspection process.
Also their customer service through emails is terrible. Their email system does not recognize reply emails - but it seems you can only send new emails, as every old email thread gets bounced back. Annoying if you ever have a question or problem later on.

Costa no longer stands behind there products and does not honor the lifetime warranty like they have in the past.
I have been a loyal Costa Del Mar customer for well over a decade, I have well over 10 pair. My favorite frames are the Tuna Alley's l. I've had several issues with the rubber pieces coming off and have sent these in for repair in the past. This issue has occurred on multiple pair of sunglasses so it's clearly related to defective material or workmanship. The glasses I purchased were purchased when they had the lifetime warranty. Apparently Costa changed the warranty and repair process in 2022 and only provide a 2 year warranty. Costa no longer stand behind their products and will not honor the lifetime warranty.
I recently bought another pair of Costa Tuna Alley's so I could send my other 2 pair in for repair but Costa will not repair these even though they have in the past. All Costa want's to do is give a 50% off coupon instead of repairing the glasses. Again, I have numerous pair for different activities, driving, fishing, and I'm not giving to give them even more of my money when they no longer stand behind there products.
I was the biggest Costa fan until they stopped standing behind there products. I will be returning the glasses I most recently purchased.

Costa warranty is a joke, frame broke, claim denied, same offer to buy a pair at a discount, never another pair.
Please just review their “auto reply” on any of their negative reviews, blah, blah but no substance or any consideration for the customers. Don’t buy this product you will regret it!

The soft rubber padding surrounding the nose piece fell apart and disintegrated. They denied my warranty claim because they said it was normal and not a defect.
The glasses are completely unwearable.
Their warranty is a joke and they don't stand behind their products. Do yourself a favor and buy Smith or Maui Jim instead.

I have a pair of Fantail Polarized glass lens that were not cheap, I purchased on July 7th 2023, broke the right-side arm on July 10th 2025. Submitted a claim or the ability to purchase a new arm, both were denied. They still make the Fantail I do not see why I cannot purchase a new arm. I did get an offer to purchase a new pair for $150.00.
I have owned 4 various pairs of Costas and love them, but all have had issues. I believe I am done with Costa sunglasses.

$100.00? No thanks. You just lost a customer that would have bought from your company for the rest of my life. This is my second pair of glasses that I have purchased from your company, and I am very disappointed in your decision. I will make sure that I spread the word on how you back up your product. I will be taking to social media and include below what is on your website. My frames had a manufacturing defect and you are offering me $100.00 off my next pair. Thanks, but no thanks! Please explain this to me.
Costa Del Mar offers a limited warranty on their eyewear, which includes:
Manufacturing Defects: For sunglasses purchased on or after November 3, 2022, Costa Del Mar will repair or replace them at no cost if they have a manufacturing defect within two years from the date of purchase.

I scratched a pair of Blackfins with 580G lenses. Though it was my fault, Costa gave me a 50% coupon code because they value me as a customer. Ordered a new pair online and the website was easy to navigate. Shipping was free as well. Costa sunglasses are expensive but they are worth the price. The comfort and style are unmatched.

I just got one pair, the model is SANPAN, I love it, the design, the materials on it, everything! Fits and looks perfectly on me!
Hope , save some money and look another model .
Don't worry I will never by pair of costa's again I have 5 pairs sitting here broke that Costa didn't warranty. Costa used to be a stand-up company but now they are all cheaply made now and don't stand behind their products or workmanship!

I have a pair of Fantail 580p sunglasses where originally the ear piece rubber fell off both sides, so I submit a claim. Does not fall under warranty. So, I continue wearing until the rubber nose piece falls off. I submit another claim, and guess what - denied. But, I could purchase the same sunglasses for $106. Why would I do that when they fall apart? These were a gift, and I am just trying to fix them. I have 4 pairs of Costa's - and I will not purchase another pair. Horrible customer service, and the only solution is for me to purchase another pair of the same defective sunglasses? No thanks.

I bought a pair of sunglasses a while back and over time the rubber nose piece cracked and came loose. I reached out to Costa cause I thought they had a good warranty well I was wrong! They tell me my glasses are no longer made and neither are parts for it but yet on their website they still have them. They send me a code for 50% off a new pair which I thought was great till I went to use it on a new pair but it didn’t work as their are so many restrictions and exclusions that no pair I like are eligible. If they would have done right by me they would have had a loyal customer that buys 4 pairs every 3 months for me and my family.

I’ve been a long-time Costa customer and take great care of my sunglasses—, 4 pairs alone all are $250 $300 per pair—which are in pristine condition with no scratches or signs of wear except for one major flaw: the nose pieces deteriorated and cannot be replaced. This essentially renders both pairs useless.
When I contacted customer service, I was offered only a 50% discount on a new pair. That’s not exactly appealing when you’ve already invested over $600 into what is marketed as a premium, exclusive product. The interaction I had with their live chat representative, R$&@@&o, was particularly frustrating—dismissive, demeaning, and lacking in any real effort to help. It almost felt personal, as if asking for a reasonable resolution was out of line.
It’s incredibly disappointing that a brand like Costa, with such a loyal following, can’t stand behind its product in a more meaningful way—especially for a known and recurring defect like this.
I’ve since moved on to Bajío sunglasses, which are American-manufactured and assembled in Florida, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and service.
Costa used to stand for durability, performance, and service. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. I won’t be returning as a customer—and I hope others take note before making the same expensive mistake.

I am on my 3rd pair. The first fell apart and they sent a replacement which are now falling apart after 2 Years. In the mean time I bought another pair which I have had for 3 years which I had ordered with camouflage frames and e also falling apart. The frames of these glasses do not hold up. They won’t replace because they are out of warranty. Save yourself the trouble spend a little more and buy Maui Jim’s. I have had drug store glasses last longer than Costas.

BEWARE!! Sunglasses are now cheaply made and they do not stand behind there products. I own three pair of there sunglasses and have been loyal customers for over seven years. I sent in a pair of my glass lens sunglasses for what they made it seem like a repair. The rubber nose piece and the rubbed ear protectors on the arm all came off. I sent them back in the original box I got them in and they sent me a bill of more than what it would cost to buy a new pair. They also destroy the pair you send in. My lenses were perfectly fine. There products are JUNK! Since they have be bought by corporate the service and product are garbage. BUYER BEWARE.
There are several better brands with better quality and customer service.

Trying to order glasses for 5 days now. Their site has an internal issue, they said it was our bank- called the bank- the payment hasn't been requested. Called them back and was told by a new person, "Oh yes, we are aware of this problem in our system, just keep trying." Somewhat frustrating trying to make a purchase and they can't/won't help when calling in.
Glasses are great- online ordering not so much.

I originally submitted a warranty claim after my RX sunglasses broke while being worn — a disappointing failure for a premium product. My claim was initially denied on the basis that it wasn’t due to a manufacturing defect, which I disagreed with.
However, after a second attempt and some back-and-forth, Costa ultimately provided a one-time courtesy voucher covering the full cost of a new pair. While the process was frustrating, I appreciate that they made the effort to resolve the issue.

Bought the Rincon 2 two weeks ago and accidentally cracked the lense. I emailed Costa with full intention of paying for a replacement lens since it was my fault. The email I got back (on a brand new, still manufactured model) was “ We don’t have parts available”. I don’t know how you couldn’t have replacement lenses when they are in production right now! Instead they offered 50 % off on a new pair of sunglasses. They don’t want to deal with fixing a pair they just want you to buy another. I wouldn’t call that a leading repair service like they claim.

I have a pair of prescription Sunglasses and the frame broke sent them in to get fixed and was told they don’t do repairs on the glasses so way are they so expensive glasses are not worth the money and sent the sellout it not worth getting glasses for them anymore
