Poor overall customer service - would not use again
Booked a cruise with Princess via Costco as they offer cashback via Costco warehouse vouchers.
Good booking experience and quick to answer calls.
I paid in full for the cruise a full 5 months before the final payment was due, however Costco did not pay princess by the deadline date. When checking the Princess app 10 days after final payment due I saw a message staying balance was still due and cruise may be cancelled.
Called Costco travel who said they would escalate and come back to me, but didn't
Contacted again and assured managers looking into issue and would contact me, and didn't.
Finally mailed Costco travel and after several days did receive a very defensive call from Costco basically stating that it is Costcos business as to when they pay Princess and I had no need to have worried, despite app stating no paid.
I managed to book dining by linking my booking to a relatives booking.
Costco did not seem bothered about my genuine concerns, did not bother to contact me until my third attempt, have yet to confirm when they actually did pay and have certainly made no attempt to apologise.
Would not choose to book through them again.
Extremely disappointed as not what I come to expect from Costco
